"For fucks sake i told you not too!" i hissed through the phone, "I'm sorry, he said something about you , he recognized me somehow, apparently they follow the news even in prison."
The word had gotten out that i was dating Touya, it wasn't that i minded, there was no one really making a problem out of it. From what I've heard just some homophobic comments on it but not much.

The days after the trials, were quiet. I had gone to U.A and i would start working there after the summer vacation, which was good. I had recovery check up on my wings and as they were actually growing back i would go back to hero work again.

Now though i was on the phone witg Touya, and he'd just told me that he fought my father. He was alive so that's a good thing but I had told him not to do it. "It's really sweet you're defending my honor but if you don't have a death wish stop challenging him."

"It's not yet proven if i have a death wish or not." he simply said. "Fuck you, just do as i tell you for once." i said. "Yes sir." he said and i could hear the laughter in his voice. "You're mocking me stop it." i sighed in the phone, with a smile on my face.

"I stopped by U.A by the way, I'll start working there after summer." i said
"Oh sweet you're gonna teach my little brother." i rolled my eyes.
"Yes, and my wings are growing back. I went to see Recovery Girl and she said it would probably take a few weeks before they're fully back."

"That's great Keigo." he said, happily. We chatted some more till it was time to go. "I gotta go soon , times almost up." he said. I nodded even though i knew he couldn't see me. "Alright, i miss you." i said.
"I love you." Touya said back. Then the line broke.

I sniffled and leaned against the wall, my smartphone tightly clenched in my hand. I really did miss him and it hadn't even been a week.

After summer,
It was my first day teaching and i was just dressing up in my hero suit. I stretched my wings once i was fully clothed. It had been a while since i had been in full hero costume. I had taken a break in the summer. Focusing on myself, and help Himiko and Jin get back on their feet once the were out. I helped Rumi too, luckily she would be picking up Atsuhiro from the jail the day after tomorrow. I had visited Touya a few times already, he was doing good. Luckily my father left him alone and i hoped it would stay that way

It was 7 in the morning, once i had everything i jumped from the balcony and flew to a nearby place to get coffee for myself and donuts for the other teachers. What better way to make an impression is there instead of taking donuts to the first day of work?

Once at work, principal Mouse- his name was Nezu but he's a mouse- introduced me to the other teacher, who were all, surprise, surprise, pro heroes. The loud teacher, who i recognized as Present Mic gave me a tour through the building and grounds and explained what i would be teaching. I already knew what i was teaching Nezu and I had spoken about that before and he had send me a letter before explaining everything and also a list of names with pictures (and quirks) of all the students. But it was nice of him to explain it to me anyway. He showed me my classroom which was on the ground floor. It was more like a combat hall than a classroom but it had a desk and a white board.

He told me it was my classroom and i could do with it what i wanted. I was glad i had taken a few posters with me, i had hoped that i could get a classroom and decorate it.

I had just finished to put up the last poster- a lord of the rings poster- up when the first students entered. It was a green haired boy, which I of course recognised as Izuku Midoriya and two of his friends, Tenya Iida and Ochako Uraraka. "Hello." i said from the back of the class where i had hung up the last poster.

"Wow no way!" Uraraka squeeled. I raised an eyebrow. "It's Hawks!" she grabbed poor Tenya's arm and shook him. He floated up to the ceiling. Her quirk. "Yes I'm Hawks." i flew too them and grabbed Tenya's leg and pulled him down. "Could you make him unfloat?" i asked. She did as told and Tenya landed on the floor. "I'll be teaching you martial arts and can i ask you why you're not in your PE clothes yet?" i asked.

"Oh should we change into them?" Midoriya asked. "Yes obviously."
"Okay we'll be back!" he said and they hurried to the changing rooms. Luckily the others in 2-A did have the sense to change come in their PE clothes.

"Hello everyone, I am Hawks. You're teacher for martial arts. We won't be using our quirks except for the ones with extra arms or tail." i introduced, my eyes scanned the class, checking if everyone was there. My eyes lingered on Shoto for a second.
"Are there any questions you guys want to ask me before we start?" i said.

Mina Ashido raised her hands, "Mina Ashido, ask away."
"Is it true you're dating a guy?" Mina Ashido asked. "Yes i am," i had expected that question and just smiled a little. "Wait you're for real? I thought it was an internet stunt." Mineta said, he looked horrified.

"It wasn't a stunt, it's for real." i answered as i folded my arms.
"But so many hot girls are in love with you! What about pro hero Mirko?" Mineta exclaimed.
I rolled my eyes, is this guy for real?

"She's my best friend friend and i don't care about these girls and also don't even think about saying something inappropriate about her, i won't hesitate to remove you from my class and get you removed from school."

He sucked in his breath. "Any other questions?" i said.
Momo yaoyorozu raised her hand. "I'm sorry for asking but is it true that you're dating the villain Dabi." she side glanced at Shoto carefully.
I smiled a little. "I'm sure you are all aware of his real identity,  they nodded, "Touya Todoroki and i went to the same school as teenager. I was in love with him back then too, and you don't fall out of love so fast." i folded my arms across my chest.

"So yes, I'm dating him, he's now in prison though, being punishment for doing the things he did and he's sorry." i said.
The girls awed, "You probably miss him a lot." Mina stated.
I nodded, "Anyways enough about my love life. Who thinks they can beat me fight?"

Two people raised their hands, Katsuki Bakugou and Shoto. "Alright, Katsuki, Shoto how about you both at the same time?"
The shared a look before nodding. "No quirks alright? I won't even use my wings." i shedded my feathers and had them float above us.

"I'm ready when you are." i announced.
Bakugou charged at me first i grabbed his arms and pulled him around me into Shoto who charged at me just after Bakugou.
"Not even a minute and both of you are down." I smirked.

"This is what we are gonna train in this class, fast reflexes and attacking multiple opponents without using your quirk."

"Mr Hawks." Tokoyami came up to me after class. "Drop the Mr please, it makes me feel old." i said, i sat down on the desk. "Hawks," Tokoyami said, "I wanted to ask you about the internships, do you remember that I interned at your agency last year?"

"Yes I do, what's up with that?"
"Can i intern with you again this year?" he asked carefully.
"I don't see why not," i responded, he nodded. "Thank you." he said before leaving the classroom to join his classmate.

This is gonna be an interesting year.

"Never have i ever fallen in love with a man." Midnight said with a sly smirk on her face. For fucks sake. The female staff members, Eraser Head, Present mic and I drank. I raised an eyebrow at the two male heroes who drank. Oh that's what's going on between those two.
Midnight invited me out for a drink as like a welcome. I hadn't known that it would be a drinking game with several almost black out drunk people.

All Might was wobbling in his seat and didn't even participate anymore, he was too far gone. I could hold my liquor well but i started to feel it, especially because Midnight was targeting me. "Never have i ever fallen in love with a villain."
I mouthed 'Fuck you' before taking another drink. She was actually a little like Rumi only more sexual and i could get along pretty well.

"Don't be a baby Hawksie, your turn."
"Never have i ever almost send a student out of class because they were saying inappropriate things." That had all of them drinking as they al teached Mineta.

They played for a while longer until it was really getting late. "I gotta go." i said and i stretched out my limbs and wings, almost hitting Present Mic in the face with them. "Sorry." I apologized. "Want someone to drop you off?" Nezu offered
"Nahh I'll call a friend I'm fine."
"Alright take care." Midnight said.

I grabbed my phone and despite the late hour i called Rumi, i just really needed her company right now. I think i might totally breakdown if i didn't have her. It rang a few times before she finally picked up, "Do you even know what time it is?" she answered drowsily. "I'm sorry, could you just pick me up?" i asked, my voice cracked a little. I didn't know why my mood suddenly changed like this, maybe it was because of all the liquor or just because i missed one of the most important things in my life right now.

"Of course, I'll be there, where are you?" she sounded worried.
"In front of the gates from U.A." i said.
"I'll be there in ten." she hung up and i sat down on the curb waiting for her. It was the beginning of September but the nights were still pleasantly warm. The moon was half full and as it was a clear night you could see it shining brightly.

And indeed after ten minutes Mirko's car appeared and stopped near him. "Come on get in, let's get you home." she said. I was thankful for her that she wasn't treating like a child who got hurt. That'd probably make me cry right now. "Are you drunk?" she asked. "Not really, a little tipsy. Just depressed because of the alcohol."
She started the car and drove through the dark and quiet street away from U.A.

"There's a water bottle next to you, drink that will ease the headache for tomorrow." Rumi said and i did as told.

"I'm sorry for calling you, i didn't know who else to call."
"I'm your best friend, you can always call me." she said. It made me tear up a little. "I just miss him." i whispered. "That sounds familiar," She said in a kind and soothing way.
"You said that to me when we thought he had died remember?" i nodded.

"He'll be back soon." she said.

A year later,

The soon that Rumi had meant that night wasn't really soon at all, but it was sooner than expected.
"No fucking way." i exclaimed as i opened the door. "Hey Hawks." Touya said.
"You didn't escape right?" i asked, "No they let me out on early parol, because of my 'good behavior', they were sick of my sarcasm probably."

I threw my arms around his neck. "I missed you too." Touya said as he wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed my cheek. "I'm never letting go." i said as i tightened my grip around him. "At least let me get inside." he said and i shook me head before burying my face into the crook of his neck. He rolled knew he rolled his eyes and i pushed us inside and he closed the door with his foot before leaning against it.

"I've seen my parole officer, i need to get a job, i also can't travel out of the city. I need to get permission for that if i have too." he said as we sat at the table drinking and eating lunch.

"Alright, how long are you gonna be on parole?"
"Probably around a year, but that time can shorten."

"I still can't believe your back, you sure you didn't escape?" i asked again.
"Yes i didn't escape." he rolled his eyes playfully.

After that i called Mirko, who came over, with the other's. They were all thrilled that Touya was back, me the most. We played games, drank, ate together and eventually when it was late everyone fell asleep before me. Touya was curled up against my chest on the couch. Rumi her fingers were intertwined with mine, she was laying on the other side next to me on the couch, with Atsuhiro's head on her shoulder and her other arm around his waist. I was glad i had bought a bigger couch recently, though the living room was a little cramped now.

Himiko was curled up on one of the bean bags, Jin not far way from her asleep on another beanbag. I smiled

I kissed the top of Touya's head and i closed my eyes. I was happy, with my friends around me and the love of my life back and wrapped in my arms. I couldn't wish for anything more. And with that happy thought, i fell asleep.
