Obviously the gasp was Rei's, the other's had already seen Dabi/Toya so they wouldn't have been surprised. Rei stood trembling in the door way, tears filling her eyes. She knew who Dabi was, that was evidence of that reaction. Good that spared time on explaining everything.

 Toya awkwardly scratched the back of his neck. "Hey."
I scoffed quietly not saying anything else about it, he hadn't seen her in years and the first thing he says to her is 'Hey'.

"My boy." Rei said, her voice trembled. She reached her hands up to her son's face. Next to Toya, she looked small and frail, and that says a lot because Toya himself is pretty scrawny.
Touya leaned down his head slightly and let her touch his scars.

 "What happened?" she whispered, as she softly ran her thumb over the one underneath his eyes. Toya grabbed her wrist softly, not to push her away, just to hold her. She smiled through her tears when she realised something, "Now i get why you went to get me yesterday." She said to me as she directed her eyes to me, "You're a couple right?" she asked, I nodded.

"That's wonderful," she said and she let us in. I didn't really understand why she left the big elephant in the room for what it was, wasn't she aching to ask where he had been, why Toya had left? She walked through the house like she had never left. Rei looked peaceful like this, back where she belonged without Endeavour. She led us to the dining room where we sat at the table as she left to go to the kitchen to make some tea. 

"Yo." Fuyumi greeted as she walked into room and sat down next to Dabi.

 "Have you told her about the plan about your trial tomorrow yet?" Fuyumi whispered loudly enough for me to still hear it but quietly enough so Rei wouldn't hear it, even though she was in a different room it was never bad to be careful enough. Touya shook his head. "I couldn't bring myself to tell her just as she first saw me." he replied, Fuyumi nodded understandingly. "I get it but we're with you." she said.

Rei walked into the room again with a tray in her hands. "Fuyu i knew you'd join us, I've got some tea for you too." she said warmly. "Thanks ma." Rei sat down next to me after she put the tray on the table. Everyone reached for a cup at the same time. "How have you been Mom?" Toya decided to dosmall talk. "I've been good, really good now im back, was it your doing?"

Toya nodded, "Sorta, Keigo helped too. We convinced Enji to let you out." Touya said, he pronounced his father name bitterly and Fuyumi winced quietly upon hearing the name being said like that. Rei didn't react in anyway except for sternly saying.

"Toya please have some more respect towards your father." Touya scoffed but didn't argue.

"What are you gonna do now?" Rei asked, Toya shrugged.

 "Just tell her." i said to Toya, she looked between us. Toya sighed and started explaining about the trial. 

She nodded, "I get it, but you'll be out eventually, right?"
Dabi nodded, and he looked at me. She was right, he'll eventually get out, a free man but i hated the idea of being parted from him again.

"Mom! I'm home." Shoto's voice came from the corridor and he continued, "I brought someone with." 

 Toya and i shared a looked but it was to late. Shoto entered with a green haired boy behind him, i recognized the kid from the sport festivals-- which i had watched to search for an intern-- he was the one whose quirk broke his own arms, Izumi Mikasa or whatever his name was. I hadn't really bothered remembering his name, he hadn't been that interesting to me anyway. 

"Oh, i didn't know you'd be here." Shoto said to Toya as the green haired boy took a step back fiercely. "It's okay Midoriya, he's my brother." Right, Midoriya, that was the name. 

"I know, I've seen the news, he's still a villain though." the boy shook slightly as he balled his fists, i could feel the power of his quirk coming off of him. Toya rolled his eyes. "Yeah and i would totally go throw fire at you and risk burning my family and old childhood home down." he said sarcastically.

I laughed slightly just like Fuyumi. 

"He won't hurt you dear." Rei said to Midoriya and she continued, "I've heard so much about you, it's so nice to finally meet you."

"Wait who is this?" Fuyumi asked confused, apparently she didn't know. With just one glance i knew Shoto fancied Midoriya, it was mutual i noticed that too as Midoriya straightened his back and nearly reached for Shoto's arm before thinking better of it.

"I'm Izuku Midoriya,"

"Ooh, I've read about you in Shoto's diary--" Shoto quickly shot towards his sister and covered her mouth with his hand. "She's lying i don't even have a diary." Shoto sputtered out before exclaiming, "Gross Fuyu!" Shoto retreated his hand quickly, she had licked his hand. 

She grinned, "No he doesn't have a diary, I'm just teasing." she said.

"Nice too meet you by the way, I'm Fuyumi." she smiled, "This one here," she gestured to Toya, "you know as Dabi is actually called Tou=ya."
"Obviously you know Hawks." she said as she pointed to me, i tapped two fingers to my temple as a sort salute. "Hey." i said and Fuyumi continued. 

"Why don't you join us for tea and we'll talk?" Fuyumi said. Midoriya nodded as he eyed me and sat down next to me, i accepted my fate.

"God, i don't know what the highest is I've ever flown." i said to Midoriya who scribbled hastily in his notebook. The others were also talking amongst themself even Natsuo had eventually joined after hearing a lot if voices. It was probably weird for Midoriya being here, finding a pro hero and an ex-villain but he didn't show any discomfort, instead he was asking me anything he could come up with.

"Can i ask you where your wings are?" Midoriya asked suddenly. Where your wings are, ha that's a way to ask it. I was still wearing shirts without holes for them because the weren't big enough to show them. "Got injured in a battle, you must have heard about that, they were gone for a while but they're growing back now." i said and i raised up the back of my shirt, revealing the red wing-shaped bumps.

"Oh right you've foughten Shigaraki Tomura right, that was a pretty epic battle i heard. You were fighting him even after your wings were gone and defeated him just before the police arrived without a quirk and you collapsed after into Mirko arms right?" he rambled. I was stunned to silence, that was not the way it had gone.
"That's not what happened," i said as i regained my voice.

"Huh? But the news sai--" Midoriya started but i interrupted.

"The news isn't always right, let me explain what happened." i explained what actually happened, and how Toya saved me. I hadn't even realized the others had gone quiet to listen to me.

 "You saved him?" Shoto asked as he turned to Dabi, "Even though you were risking to get caught you saved him?"

Toya raised an eyebrow and turned his head slightly, "I couldn't just let him die, now could I?" he said like it was something everyone would have done.

"That's so romantic." Fuyumu sighed with a hand on her heart. 

"You guys are what every perfect couple wants to be." Natsuo said jokingly following his sister. I scoffed, "We aren't even close to being perfect." i said.

"Wait you're in a relationship?" Izuku asked.

"Yeah you've got a problem with that?" Toya answered before i  could. "No no nothing wrong with that, I'm just surprised." Izuku shook his head. 

"Childhood friends." i whispered to Midoriya as the other's continued with their conversations.

We stayed for dinner and i could say it was really fun. I got an text after dinner.
"Toya, Rumi texted, wanna meet with her and the others she wants to go to a lake and watch the sunset." It had been pretty hot lately so it sounded like a good way to cool off. "Sounds good," Toya turned his head to his sister. "Is my old stuff still in my room?" he asked.

 "Yes, Dad didn't dare to go there."

"Did you go inside?" he asked out of genuine curiosity. She nodded, "When i couldn't sleep, or when i was... You know, grieving."

"I'm sorry." he said and he followed that with a kiss to her hair. I followed Dabi to his room. 

"Why you want to go to your room?" i asked as we walked through the hallway. "Getting us some swim trunks obviously. I haven't grown much so I'll probably fit them and if i fit it, you'll fit too." he opened the door.

It was a plain bedroom, i had been here before, there were photographs of his siblings and mother though, and a shelve full of books. He had always loved reading.
Toya rummaged through one of the drawers and i looked at the photographs, he looked so cute and small on the pictures with a carefree smile on his face. There was even a picture with me and him.

I remembered that picture, it was the first time i visited here. Toya and i had been sitting in the garden underneath the tree, he was reading, while i was talking to him. Fuyumi had secretly taken the picture and when we got inside she had already printed it twice, i had the same one at home.

"Got them let's go." he said, he noticed me looking at the picture. "I like that picture a lot, it shows your goofy smile that i love so much." Toya said, i looked at him with a smile.

 "I like it too. You look so calm and in your comfortzone."

"C'mon." he said, he grabbed my hand. He led me through the front door after saying good-bye to everyone. Rumi send us the location and we drove, it was just outside the city, surprisingly the ride wasn't that long. When we arrived there was already a car parked, one of Mirko's. Touya parked next to it, and we got out of the van and joined the others.

"There are the gays. Now we can take a dive!" Rumi said, she put her arms up and stripped off her shirt and jeans revealing a bright pink bikini. Atsuhiro looked away his cheeks nearly equally as pink as Rumi's bikini

"Come on, don't just stand there let's go." I said, the other's moved now too, Touya passed me a pair of swimtrunks and we changed into it.

Rumi grabbed Atsuhiro's hand and pulled him up to his feet. "Atsuhiro you too no excuses, I've even bought you swim trunks now you gotta." she said and she pulled him towards the water as he still tried to shrugg of his shirt.
I grinned. This was amazing and i smiled. I got rid of my shirt and threw it near the rest of my stuff. Touya did the same. Toga and Twice were already in the water splashing each other.

Rumi had let Atsuhiro go and stood waiting for him. I grinned before dashing at her fast. She didn't even have time to yelp as i lifted her on my shoulder and ran into the water. She laughed, pure of joy. "Keigo let me go!" she shrieked. "Okay!" i said and i threw her into the water.

Toya laughed, i heard it from where i was standing in the water. My face lit up. I wasn't paying attention and that gave Rumi the opportunity to tackle me into the water.
"Dumbass!" i heard Touya yell, as i got pulled down into the water by Rumi.

Atsuhiro and Toya slowly approached the water. Dabi stuck his toe into it testing the temperature. Apparently the temperature was good because he dove into it.  Once i pushed Rumi off of me I swam towards Toya and grabbed his neck sweetly with a smile. He raised an eyebrow at me.

"Whatya doing?" he asked, he was too late. I wrapped my other arm around his neck and pulled him down into the water. "Oh I'm getting revenge now!" he said as he got back to the surfac, i laughed. "Oh fuck!" i screeched and i started swimming and, when the water wasn't that deep anymore, running away from him. He obviously chased me and after running around for around 5 minutes- he wasn't gonna give up and of course I wasn't either- he caught me. He lifted me up on his shoulder with ease, like i did with Rumi.

He got back deeper into the water. He stopped when the water reached to his waist and then threw me in. I got up wiping my wet hair back. I grinned at him.

 "Weirdo." Touya said, he turned to look at the others who were splashing each other now, then he turned back to me. He pulled me to him, and then kissed me. I cupped his face into my hands and he pulled me closer, i wrapped my legs around his face and sighed into the kiss.

"Get a room!" Rumi screeched from the sand. We broke apart and i looked over Dabi's shoulder to Rumi without removing my hands from his face. "You're the one wanting us here, so you gotta deal with this." i said. Toya kissed my neck slightly and i shivered.

"Toya i would actually rather have no audience when you do these things." i said when he kept kissing i put my hand against his mouth. 

"We could do it in the van? Could be fun." he said, i chuckled, "No, we're not doing it in the van." he sighed disappointed but kissed my shoulder in a soft gesture.

 "When they're gone we could do it here." i whispered. He smirked and nodded.

We joined the others and watched the sunset on the beach. Toya lit a bonfire and we roasted marshmallows- Rumi took them with, very smart. Eventually Toga and Atsuhiro fell asleep and we decided to call it a day. I looked at my watch and noticed it was already midnight.
I carried Atsuhiro back- Dabi and i did rock, paper, scissors to decide who would have to do it- Jin carried Toga back to the car. Once they were in the car we sat goodbye to the two that were still awake.

"See you tomorrow," Rumi said in my ear as she hugged me.
She got in waved again and drove off. "Sooo." Touya turned to me, i rolled my eyes. "I promised huh?" i said. He grinned and we both ran back to the lake chasing each other.

We got back home late and we actually fell asleep immediately once our head hit the pillow. I woke up early though. I think it was around 7. I kissed the top of Touya's head, he was still sleeping. I got up and pulled on some sweatpants. I didn't bother wearing a shirt it was my house i could do whatever i wanted.

I started making breakfast, waffles, because I was in the mood for waffles.  I also made some coffee to sip on while i was making the batter. I heard footsteps tap the floor and i knew Dabi was approaching.

"Hey." he whispered as he wrapped his arms around my waist while resting his head on my shoulder.

"Hey, are you ready for today?" i asked. Touya didn't answer, i hadn't expected him too.
I finished breakfast and we ate in silence, showered, dressed and left the apartment.

We had promised to meet Rumi at her house and drive together to the court house. Once at Rumi's house the mood was grim, obviously, i hadn't expected anything else. We drove quietly to the court house. Once there everthing went by in a blur and I'll spare you all the tiny details. The most important parts summoned up, both Toga and Jin had gotten sentences 2 months, with probation and the help they needed. Atsuhiro had gotten 3 month, no probation nor special treatment, which he didn't really need anyway.

For Toya it was an entirely different story, Toya's sentence had sorta been a mess. Fuyumi, Natsuo, and even Shoto and Rei had told their tale about how his childhood had been. Endeavor of course had a say too, told the judge it was all a lie. Luckily the Judge wasn't convinced by Endeavor and had mercy on Touya. 2 years with maybe an early release on probation. They were also gonna keep a close eye on him to see if he shows any sign of possible depression and/or other psychological issues.

"You know, my father is in there." I said. It was time to say goodbye for now. His family had hugged him goodbye already, even Rumi did.

 "I know, I'll beat his ass for you." Toya said with a weak smile. "Please don't get in trouble for me." i said. I was very aware of the police officer watching, but i couldn't be bothered. I reached up to touch his face. "I'll visit you and you're allowed to make calls so call me when you can."
He nodded and leaned down to kiss me.

"You're not gonna get rid of me that easy, you know?" he said as he pulled back. I wanted to punch him. I shook my head. "Shut up," i said, tears pricked in my eyes. 

"I'll see you soon Hawks don't cry." he said. I smiled up at him. 

"Dick."

He winked and let the police officer lead him to the van, where Toga, Jin and Atsuhiro were already seated in. Rumi stood next to me and grabbed my hand. She squeezed it softly. Together we watched the car disappear.

"They'll be back." she said certainly, "Some of them faster than the other but they'll all be back."
