"Have you heard from Shane lately?" Maddie asked as we out of the coffee shop near the studio with trays of coffee cups and teas for the group. I shook my head and pushed back the sad feeling that was trying to break through.

"Nope but I don't expect to hear from him all the time. We both have our own lives and it's not like we are dating or anything." I shrugged as we came up to the studio. She blocked the door and gave me a skeptical look. "What?"

"I mean you guys did kiss and were like in love back in England from what I can tell. And now you don't care if you haven't heard from him in a while? Do you not care anymore?" She asked and I almost wanted to slap her for thinking that I didn't care about Shane. Of course I care about him. I love him to be exact but...could I say that? No I can't because I am in love with my fiance and don't have time to waste on a love that won't ever be again.

"It's not that I don't care anymore. It's just that I might not care as much as I use to. I have Lyric now and the wedding to worry about and frankly hanging out with Shane is only to cause even more problems in our relationship. I am not about to do a rocky marriage because I let some ex mess it up." I lied through my teeth, while the rest of me was screaming that wasn't true. To be honest ever since the kiss I can't stop thinking about him. Even if I try my hardest to focus on something else he comes barging rudely into my thoughts and won't leave.

She gave me another look before shrugging. "If you say so but I can tell that something is up." She said before pushing the door open and walking in. I followed in after looking over to the spot where Shane would usually be performing and let out a little disappointed sigh once I saw that he wasn't there.

Lyric walked over to me and took the tray before kissing me deeply. I smiled into the kiss and wrapped my arms around his neck, while his free hand rested on my hip. He pulled back and kissed my nose with a smile. "I missed you." He whispered, leaning his head down to mine.

"I missed you too, babe but I wasn't gone for that long." I giggled as he pouted out his lip.

"I don't care. Still missed you." He said capturing my lips in another deep kiss, almost making my knees give out with all the emotion he put into it. "But I also might have missed coffee more." He said with a cheeky smile. I rolled my eyes and shoved him playfully.

"Yo! Which one is my coffee?" Rob asked jogging over to us. Lyric turned towards him and looked down at the tray of cups.

"I'm just going to take a wild guess that it is the one that is the only decaf and has your name in big bold letters." He said with a smirk once Rob glared at him.

"Oh ha ha ha." Rob said sarcastically, taking the coffee, and sticking his tongue out at him. I laughed and reached around Lyric and grabbed my cup before taking a drink. Lyric look at me from over his shoulder and chuckled once I did a funny face at him.

The door to the studio opened and a guy that looked really familiar walked in with a few flyers in his hand before walking over to the information board was at and posted one of them on it. Without a word said he just walked back out without even looking our way. I looked over at Lyric who gave me the same what-the-hell look before we all walked over to the board.

"Last time before first ever New York coffee shop and hangout tour to hear One ambush to perform at Lucy's. With original mash-up of songs. Featuring Max Schneider. Free of charge. Hope to see you there." Rob read and Maddie screamed loudly.

"Oh my god! I love Max! He is my baby! Right next to Luke Hemmings from 5 seconds of summer." She exclaimed like a 15 year old girl. I laughed and looked back at the paper, making a thinking face.

"What you thinking about?" Lyric asked still looking at the paper. I gave a taken back look knowing that he didn't even look at me while I was making the face. "Don't question how I know." He chuckled looking at me.

"I was just thinking that maybe we should go." I said with a shrug. His face fell and eye narrowed at my words. "Or just me. I can go alone." I rushed out once I saw his face.

"No, I much rather sit through listening to that prick sing then letting you go so he can kiss you again and do whatever thing he did for you on your birthday." He muttered and I gave a small smile once I saw how jealous he was getting.

"Lyric...baby...he gave me a piggy back ride on the way home from the bar and I honestly think that the kiss was just a really bad mess up and I promise you it won't happen again." I assured him, wrapping my arms around his torso. He gave me a skeptical look before letting out a little sigh.

"Alright. I trust you but if he tries anything I have every right in the world to literally stick him in the face." He said in all seriousness. I raised both eyebrows at his tone and expression and mainly out of shock since he was never really a violent person.

"Okay then." I laughed and kissed him quickly before walking over to the center of the room. "Alright! Everyone in formation! We have to get this dance down before boss man gets here."

"The only reason this is even remotely enjoyable is the fact that they have hot chocolate supreme." Lyric stated as we sat down at one of the empty tables, drinks in our hands. I laughed and shook my head, taking of my sip of my plain coffee. "I still don't know how you drink that crap. It is so bad when you have nothing in it." He said in disgust.

"You're right it does taste like crap but I grew up with it so I'm use to it." I shrugged and took another drink. The lights started to dim and I focused my attention on the stage where a spot light was shining. The bell to the front door ding as it was opened and Maddie and her dance partner, Ash, walked in. I waved them over before looking back over at the stage.

The guy with the flyers walked on first and it suddenly hit me who he was. "Hello everyone. I'm Toby and I am in control of the music tonight. This is going to be a interactive performance so I am going to need your help with something's. If the members of one ambush try to interact with you don't be shy. They don't bite...at least not hard." He said with a wink at the end making the crowd laugh. He walked back off and over to a corner where a booth was set up.

Shane and Lauren pilled on after him and I couldn't fight back the smile that grew once I saw him. He was tossed a microphone and caught it without any effort. "Hey guys! How are we doing tonight?" Shane said into the mic with a giant smile. The crowd cheered, which included me and Maddie. Lyric stayed quiet and continue to glare at him from a far.

"You are so hot!" A teenage girl up in  the front shouted at him and he looked over at her with a cheeky grin.

"Why thank you!" He smiled before making a fake phone with his hands. "Call me sometime." He flirted making the group she was sitting with start to giggle. "Anywho! We have an awesome show planned for you tonight. With the help of my good friend, Max Schneider!" He clapped looking at the back of the room.

Everyone cheered and turned around to find Max standing by the drink station with a smile. He gave a small wave before turning back around to the cashier. I turned back towards Shane who handed the mic to Lauren and was now asking for another one.

"Here is our Bruno Mars Medley." She said in a soft tone before shying away to the back of the stage and the spot light centered on Shane who just got a mic. He nodded over at Toby and the sound of a mash up of Bruno Mars songs began to play.

Her eyes, her eyes make the stars look like they're not shining

Her hair, her hair falls perfectly without her trying

He sang causing that heart stopping feeling to form in me every single time he sings. His voice was smooth with a little bit raspy like he had just woken up making it sound even more sexy. He hopped off the stage and walked over to the girl who called him hot and got down on one knee, taking hold of her hand.

She's so beautiful and I tell her everyday

The girl giggled once he kissed her hand and stood up, spinning around towards the stage. Lauren rolled her eyes playfully before singing her part walking over to Toby.

She smiled lovely at him, leaning down to kiss him passionately  but quickly. He gave her the same look of love she gave him before looking but down at his set up. She looked over at Shane who pretended he was throwing up before sending her a toothy grin.

They sang together dancing around the room. Toby began a rhythmic 'oh' sound recording from the equipment he was using while the interacted with with different people in the shop. Shane's eyes landed on me and they lit up once I sent a small wave. He danced over towards me and I could feel Lyric shift in his seat. Lauren began to sing her part as Shane took both of my hands and pulled me off the chair.

Today I swear I'm not doing anything (I wanna be a billionaire)

He spun me around while singing his part making me giggle. He hopped up on one of the  coffee tables and belted his line before dancing around, a huge smile forming across my face.

He sang as I danced to the beat, mouthing the lyrics. Lauren came up from behind me and help the microphone in front of my mouth before nodding a nod o encouragement . I shook my head no but she gave me a look that I didn't know could be made from her.

We both sang together and the crowd cheered making a blush form. Shane smiled toothily at me and got down from the table, picking me up in a air hug while laughing his part once I squealed.

They sang and Shane kept his arm around my waist as I stood next to him, smiling brightly at him, still not being able to get enough of his voice. The crowd went wild with cheers, whoops, and wolf calls. He looked down at me and winked before bowing, bringing me with him.

"Ladies and Gents! One Ambush!" Max shouted from the back and they crowd grew louder. We both leaned back up and he smiled at me before pulling me into a bone crushing hug, but it made me feel safe and warm and honestly loved.

"I missed you, El." Shane whispered into my hair and I sighed wrapping my arms around his torso, taking in his natural smell of vanilla and a sexy musk.

"I missed you too, Shane." I whispered back. He leaned back and looked at me with a small smile and a hint of awe in his eyes. I smiled back and unwilling dropped my eyes to his lips, letting them linger there. They looked so soft and plumbed and so lonely. I let my eyes wander back up to his eyes which was now filled with that look everyone gets before they kiss someone that they really like.

"Ella...I want to...but we can't." He whispered and glanced over at Lyric who I forgot was there at the moment. "He is here and you love him...and...I just...I can't." He sighed and pulled away from me, dropping his gaze to the ground. "Thanks for coming, El." He added before being pulled away by the group of teen girls from the front.

I watched him as they surrounded him shouting out complements and question like 'are you single?' and 'what is the youngest age you would date?' He gave them all big smiles, acting like the smooth and collected Shane everyone knows and loves. I felt the corners of my mouth twitch up and filled with a look of confusion, but the smile never left.

I shouldn't be smiling right now. I just got rejected...which is good thing considering I am engaged to someone else and the guy I got rejected by just got pulled away from me to have girls throw themselves at him...which is not a good thing.  But why do I feel so god damn happy?

"Why am I smiling?" I asked out loud not meaning to. Lauren looked over at me and saw where my eyes where at before letting out a small smile.

"Because he said he wanted to kiss you even if he rejected you and yeah I heard the whole thing. And maybe it's the fact that he is finally getting his dream made come true and you are happy for him. Now all you need to do is let him go and move on." She said making me even more shock cause she said so bluntly and boldly.

"But I have moved on." I said and a part of me knew I was lying but the stubbornness of the other side said otherwise. She shook her head at me and gave me a 'you-must-be-kidding' smile.

"The smile says other wise." She said matter-of-factly before walking over to Toby. I groaned knowing she was right but I wasn't going to accept it. I have moved on from Shane and I don't love him...at least not in that way.

"Hey. Had fun?" Lyric asked walking up to me and by his tone I knew he was upset. "It looked like he was having a blast." He added glaring over at Shane.

"Babe, what we did was harmless. Chill out. Okay?" I cooed leaning up on my tips toes to kiss him softly. He relaxed at my touch and kissed me back. "I'm going to grab us drinks to go. Meet me at the car?" I asked

"Yeah. I'll meet you there." He nodded kissing me softly and tenderly, knocking Shane out of my thoughts. "Love you." He mumbled on my lips before pulling away and heading out the door.

I smiled and touched my lips before heading over to the counter. While waiting on the drinks Shane came over and leaned against the counter with a goofy grin.

"Liking those girls, Eh?" I asked trying not to sound jealous because I wasn't...or at least I was trying not to be.

"They're are okay." He shrugged with a crooked smile and I rolled my eyes.

"OH! Do tell me what they are lacking that makes them okay?" I asked becoming defensive for the girls since they were probably amazing...or at least are trying to be.

"Well let's see they are only throwing themselves at me because they think I am hot and not because they think I'm a good guy. They are in like the tenth grade and...." He paused leaning down to my ear. I froze once he got closer and almost dropped the cups from the shivers that raked through me once his breath hit my skin. "They're not you." He whispered before pulling away, sending me a small smile, and walking away.

I stared after him, frozen in my spot, not really knowing what to do. I looked down at the ground as a smile and blush spread across my face. I wanted to slap myself for smiling at something like that when I was engaged to another guy who I love. I am also letting the side that is screaming at me for Shane win at the moment while the side screaming for Lyric is weeping in the corner. I shouldn't be smiling. I should be pissed off and wanting to slap that heart melting smile off his face and bang my head against the counter to get rid of his words. That is what you are suppose to do when ex says something like that, right?

So...why am I smiling?

Hey hey hey! Oh, how I've missed wattpad and writing! And I am soooooooooo sorry my updates are always late. I just...I get tired ya know? School can be stressful. But nevertheless I plan to buckle down and update on time on this upcoming Sunday!

But quick note! I will not be updating at all after this Sunday for the whole week. I am the lucky son of a bitch who got One direction tickets and is going to go see them on the 3rd of October. And the day before I go see them in Tampa we are driving up and spending the whole day at bush gardens! :D And not to mention that I get to do all this with my best friend in the whole wide world! So yes be very jealous! xD But I will be very busy next week and am not going to have anytime to write.

Now that is out of the way.
