FLASHBACK
"You may now kiss the bride." The priest said as everyone started clapping and watched as Pete and Abigail kissed and then walked back down the aisle. Later after during the ceremony I got to talk with Pete a little.

"I'm so glad you came, both me and Abigail really appreciate it." Pete said handing me a glass of alcohol.

"Thanks for inviting me. I wouldn't miss it for the world."

"Did you hear. O'Brien left in the middle of the night?" Robert said throwing the letter on the table for anyone to read.

"What really why?" I said picking up the letter.

"She said Susan, offered her so much more than we ever have." He said sitting down after getting some food. "Sneaking off like a thief in the night, that's O'Brien to a T."

"Who's going to dress Cora?" I asked looking up from the letter.

"Anna offered to dress her until we find some one." He said as we all nodded, and then we all fell into an awkward silence. Until Edith decided to break the silence.

"I'm going to London to meet up with my Editor tomorrow. I was wondering if Mary should come?" She asked getting up from her chair.

"Don't bother Mary. She's got enough on her plate." He said as Edith just sighed and nodded before leaving for London.

"What about you? Anything interesting going on today?" Tom asked nudging me with his shoulder.

"The stone is going on today. I think I'll go be with Mary." I said getting up to go change into a black dress. "I'm going to go change into black. I'll see you in the yard at 11:00?" I asked as he nodded.

As soon as I left the dining hall I quickly went to my room to change so I could see James before I met Tom.

"Hey, why are still wearing black?" James asked sneaking up behind me in our secret spot. I just rolled my eyes and kissed his cheek.

"Today the stone goes on, and since Edith is in London I wanted to be with Mary just for a few hours." I said as we walked down the stairs together, hand nin hand, but still watching to see if anyone was around.

"Do you want me to come to. I don't have to be next to you but be there to pick you too up?" He asked, I just shook my head and let go of his hand.

"No, some could figure it out. Thanks for the offer though." I said quickly giving him a peck before waving and heading out to meet Tom and Mary.

"Ready?" I asked as Tom nodded. Mary didn't say anything and just started walking.

"I can't believe it's been 6 months." Mary said looking at the stone.

"It's such a beautiful stone Mary. With such a great message." I said smiling a her handing her a handkerchief.

"Thank you. Do you mind if I just had a moment alone with him?" She asked as be both nodded and started walking back to the car.

"She's going to be okay right?" I asked looking up at Tom.

"Yes, maybe not right away but she'll be okay."

I'm back Baby. Some events might not line up with the real story, but I found the script and wanted to kinda incorporated it into the story since I started to stray away from the OG story. Updates will come at least once a week. Bye!
