My body is curled up, looking like a small ball of mess, my weak arms locked around my knees. The thin apartment windows are not fully closed, letting the light, evening breeze enter the dark room. The crisp, white sheets are partly covering my body, which is soflty placed on the king sized bed of mine.

Small, hot tears slip from my eyes and make their way down my cheeks, as a huge wave of pain hits the lower part of my belly and makes my legs go weak.

It's that time of the month again, the time when mother Nature simply plays with my system and my emotions.

My eyes softly widen as I hear a thud echoing in the empty apartment.

''(y/n), I'm home!''

I open my mouth to talk but another round of sharp pain is taking place inside of me, leading me to let out a loud, depressing sigh.

Grayson must have heard my pleading cry and runs up the stairs, that lead to our room. His feet make a deep hollow sound as he sprints up the wooden steps.

''Ohh my Gosh are you okay sweetheart?'' he exclaims as he violently storms in our bedroom.

I say nothing and continue crying, without even turning around to look at him.

''It hurts'' I reply after a while, my sobs covering most of my shaky voice.

''Ooh baby'' he says in an empathizing tone and comes closer to the bed, hopping next to me. I try to move around and he helps me, hugging my waist and turning me to face him. His large, soft hands move to my lower back, forming an embrace around my body, as he rests his chin on top of my head.

''Your tummy hurts baby?'' he asks and I pout a yes, snuggling my head closer to his clothed chest.

''Do you want me to bring you your heating pad?'' he whispers while the palms of his hands draw small, relaxing circles on my back.

''It w-won't help. I t-tried it'' I mumble letting out a few sobs.

My chest, as well as my whole body bounces up and down hysterically, while my already dry throat lets out more sobs.

Grayson suddenly moves his and mine body too, in a way that we both lay on our backs, facing the cream ceilling.

His right arm moves behind my shoulders, hugging them tight, while his left arm goes down to my belly, resting there. He soon starts rubbing soothing circles on my lower stomach with the palm of his hand and my whole body loosens, relaxed.

I cuddle into his neck, inhaling his cologne, the one that I bought him for his birthday. I smile against his neck as he leans down and pecks my temple.

''Are you okay, baby girl?'' he asks with a trace of worry laced in his voice.

''Better now'' I reply and smile to myself, snuggling more into his body.

A few moments of silence went by, before I open my mouth to talk.

''Thanks Gray''

''Anything for my princess''
