Raven 4

Raven's story soon takes a dramatic turn when she meets a mysterious girl who considers herself to be an oracle. She doesn't tell Raven her name but instead tells her about Raven's upcoming fate. In the days to come, Raven will find herself in a battle with a hooded figure who will kill her while her friends watch. The prophecy describes the exact vision Raven keeps getting ever since some mysterious people arrived in Storybrooke. When her hand starts to shake, she gets the same vision of a hooded figure who stabs her with a sword. The oracle says that no matter what Raven tries to do, her fate will be the same, she will die.

But even if that is the case, Raven still wants to know exactly who that hooded figure was. However, she refuses to tell anyone about this. When she finally does, everyone is upset that she didn't tell them the first time. But they soon offer to help her. During this time, Raven discovers a pair of magical shears in the mayor's home. According to the oracle, they are the Shears of Destiny, created thousands of years ago by the Three Fates as a way to separate someone from their destiny.

If Raven had found this during her first time at Ever After High, she most likely would have used them. But the oracle warns her that if she uses the shears, it will free her from her destiny, but she will lose her magic. So Raven decides not to use the shears, hoping to find another way to save her life. But if not, then she will have to accept her fate.

Unfortunately, there is no way to save Raven who soon finds herself in the battle with the hooded figure who turns out to be Robert Myers or Carey Apollyon as that is his real name. Despite fighting as hard she could, Raven ultimately accepts her fate, telling Carey to go ahead and kill her. Even though he has to do it, Carey apologizes to Raven before stabbing his sword into her stomach, killing her. Everyone mourns Raven's death as Apple whispers "I love you" before placing a kiss on Raven's forehead, magically waking her up with the power of true love. Because not all true love comes from a romantic partner, but friends and family as well.

Raven may have survived, but her story is far from over.

Fast forward to Book 13. Well, towards the end of Book 13 that is because I'm actually quite proud of that book. But if I feel that I wanted to change something, I'll let you guys know. But towards the end of Book 13, everyone graduates, and Raven and Dexter have their fake wedding so that Mira and David can witness it before they have to go to the world where Young Duplicates can go instead of fading away. But life for Young Duplicates is kind of complicated and I will talk about that soon. Anyway, David is able to walk Raven down the aisle as Milton officiates the fake wedding. Raven has her dance with her dad, Brooke catches the bouquet, Raven frees her real mother from Mirror Prison, and everyone says goodbye to Mira and David.

I should say that Milton also officiates Raven and Dexter's real wedding which took place in the Enchanted Forest at the gazebo where Raven's parents first met. At their real wedding, Apple was Raven's Maid of Honor, Daring was Dexter's Best Man, Raven's mother walked her down the aisle, and Ashlynn was the one who caught the bouquet.

At the end of Book 13, Raven and Apple are hanging out in their old dorm while going through the scrapbook that Apple made about their times in Storybrooke as they then sing the EAH theme song while Raven plays her guitar. Then we get to Book 14, the last book of the series which mainly focused on Brooke. But during that book, we find that Raven is pregnant. Towards the end of Book 14, we are introduced to Raven's 11-year-old daughter, Princess Starling Elena Queen-Charming. But there is one thing I would like to add: Raven and Dexter had another child when Starling was about 4. They also have a son who they named Prince David Terrence Queen-Charming.

At the end of the series, Dexter is now King and Raven is now Queen and they live in Raven's palace with their children and Raven's now-good mother who helped transform the palace from its evil style to a more suitable style for a good queen (but still keeping a bit of that Gothic style because if there was one thing Raven and mother agreed on in the past, it was their sense of style). But now that she's Queen, Raven has always known what she wanted to do in her future. Not only does she still love to play music, even joining Sparrow and his friends, but she also writes a book about her life and following her heart. Brooke may be the true author, but Raven has always wanted to write her own story. She soon gets her book titled: Rewriting My Destiny published and it becomes a best-seller.

All is well for our main heroine. She's a true Queen, she married her true love, her mother is no longer evil, following your destiny was a lie, and she and Dexter have two beautiful children while they also keep in touch with their friends. Life was good.
