Ashlynn Ella. Her Storybrooke counterpart is Julie Green.

To be honest, I was never a fan of Ashlynn when I was new to EAH. But she eventually grew on me. So, we all know the kind of girl Ashlynn is. Even in Storybrooke, she's still the girl who doesn't mind cleaning, she loves all animals and plants (making her a vegan), and of course, she loves shoes. In Storybrooke, she lives with Briar at the Dream Inn motel where she also works at. But she sometimes works with Hunter at the animal shelter.

I also have to say that when it comes to Ashlynn and Hunter, I thought they were kind of boring at the start. But like Ashlynn, they soon grew on me. I like how they're both nature and animal lovers and despite their different destinies, they won't let anything get in the way of them being together. When they found out that destiny is a hoax, they were so relieved. They no longer have to worry about their stories keeping them apart.

But as time passed, the couple continue to do the things they love while helping their friends deal with breaking the Dark Curse. They especially love going on picnics and having their dates outside.

In Storybrooke, the couple adopted a dog from the shelter. Hunter may already have his squirrel, Pesky, but since the motel where Ashlynn lives don't allow animals, Hunter takes in a female black labrador dog that they named Midnight. When the curse is broken and they're back at Ever After, Midnight becomes pregnant and gives birth to a litter of puppies. For Ashlynn and Hunter, the birth of the puppies gave them the thought of having their own children someday. But before I talk about that...

Before the Dark Curse, Ashlynn and Hunter went on a little quest to find the Tree of Wisdom, an enchanted tree that's been said to know all of the answers to every question. 

However, many say that it's just a story, but the couple decided to search for the tree in hopes of getting an answer about their futures, especially concerning Ashlynn's mom. In the Cinderella story, Cinderella's mother dies and that has been a fear for Ashlynn. Whether or not she chooses to live out her destiny, Ashlynn fears that her mother will die either way. So the two decided to search for the Tree of Wisdom.

After getting directions from the fairies, the couple began their journey. But along the way, they are attacked by a robber who ends up wounding Ashlynn when the arrow that he fired missed but still sliced her across her waist. Thanks to Cerise who just so happened to be running in the woods when she witnessed the attack, she tells Hunter of a lake with healing water. However, it's guarded by a dangerous being. Despite the danger, Hunter heads off to find the lake in order to save Ashlynn. 

Once there, he finds that the guardian is a siren who can take the form of anyone. And to Hunter's surprise, she turns herself into an exact copy of Ashlynn. As much as he tries not to fall for her spell, he ultimately allows the siren to lure him into the lake where she tries to drown him. Thankfully, Hunter is able to kill the siren and escape along with the healing water. After healing Ashlynn, Cerise joins them in their quest to find the tree. But when they get there, they are shocked to see that the tree is dead. However, they find that one leaf remains alive. They decide to ask the leaf about their destiny and they get one answer before the leaf dies.

When you learn the truth, you will know

Neither of them understood what that meant. But they soon realize that the day they found out the truth about Milton and his lies about destiny was the answer they were looking for. But even so, Ashlynn still fears that her mother might die someday, sooner than expected. But Hunter assures her that anyone can die any day and he doubts that Cinderella will die soon. But if she does, at least Ashlynn won't be stuck with a cruel stepfamily. Now that it's been proven that destiny is a fake, Hunter will not let anything bad happen to his true love.

When the curse is finally broken and everyone is at Ever After, the first thing Hunter and Ashlynn do, once they get settled, is to go to their not-so-secret spot where they would always meet up.

They even check out the tree that has their initials carved into it.

As for their dog, Midnight, she stays with Hunter's family where she gives birth to her puppies. She stays with the family until Hunter and Ashlynn are married as she moves in with them in their cottage. Despite being a princess, Ashlynn has always preferred to live in a cottage in the woods. And of course, on her wedding day, Ashlynn wears her glass slippers.

As the years passed, Ashlynn now runs a shoe empire while also helping Hunter with his animal rights program. The couple is living their lives happily with their children and pets.
