Zelfelia's P.O.V

Weeks had passed and I had only heard from my mother once.  I felt alone most of the time going back to an empty house.

I heard a knock at the door and I quickly went to open it, Walt.

" Are you ready ?" he asked and I gave him a small smile.

"Yeah let's go " I told him am we got in his car and he drove us to school.

The past six weeks Walt and I became very close. Most people thought we were dating but we weren't.  Yes we had go out on a couple of dates and I accompanied him to most of his games and but he never really asked me out .

He walked me to my first class and I waved him off.

"You guys are so cute " I heard  Kay who was coming towards me.

"It's not what you think " I rolled my eyes and turned away from her .

"He's totally digging you." her eyes widened in shock "you can't tell me you haven't noticed . Really you haven't? " I tried to ignore what she was saying.

" He doesn't like me he's just my friend " I defended and walked into class

It was lunch and Walt and I walked to the lunch room and.

"Summer break starts tomorrow. What are you planning " walked asked out of the blues.

"I'll probably go back and look for my mum. So much is happening and she's risking her life for me and I can't sit and do nothing all the time. I feel useless staying here " I explained.

"Just tell me if you need my help and I'll be there for you " he gave me a smile.

"Don't get mushy with me, I'm a big girl " I let out a laugh.

"Indeed you are " he smirked

"Come sit with me today " he said and I looked at where he sat and I shook my head.

"I'm not sitting there. I might be forced to snap someone's head " he gave me a look and I simply smiled.

"I'll just sit with my lunch buddy's " I looked to the table where lily and the rest were sitting.

"Do they know? " he asked and I knew he was asking if they knew about what I was.

"No " I said and walked to my table.

"His totally into you " Kay said as I sat down.

"Mind your own business " I said playfully and rolled my eyes.

The school day had ended and Walt was driving me home.

"So you're coming tonight? " he asked

"Yeah unless you don't want me to which is totally fine with me " I smiled.

Walt had invited me to have dinner at his place. His parents were apparently curious and wanted to meet me . I was a little nervous and wasn't really prepared to meet his parents but he insisted on me going.

"You're coming " he smiled.

"They can't wait to meet you "  I looked at him.

"They might just be disappointed " I let out a laugh.

The pulled over in my driveway and we walked to the house. I told him to make himself comfortable while I went up to my room.

I stripped out of my clothes and walked over to the bathroom and turned on the shower, I got in and felt relaxed as the water hit my body.

When I was done I walked out of the shower not really knowing what I was going to wear.  I picked out a pair of jeans and a tank top and throw over a jumper. I just hopped I was not under dressed.

I walked down stairs.

"I hope I didn't take to long " I asked.

"Not really " he smiled.

"I hope I'm not under dressed " I worried.

"It's just dinner with my family nothing fancy " he laughed " you look perfect .lets get going "

We drove for a while till we reached a gate. The whole places was fenced out it was like a hole neighborhood within these gates.

"You live here" I mused.

"These are pack ground. Our pack has lived here since the first generation " he explained. " my place is feather on" the explained. The gates were opened and he drove through .he drove till be came to the center of the pack ground and a huge house was placed at the center and other houses were everywhere else.

"I live here, my father is alpha and this is where the alpha and Luna live " he explained. I was nervous now .

"You'll be fine " he said as if he could read my mind.

We walked in and the place was as beautiful on the inside as it was outside.

"Walter you're home " I heard a female voice echo from somewhere in the house. " And who's that with you she smells delightful. You not so much "I finally saw the person that spoke as we went feather into the house.

She was beautiful she had long brown colored hair falling till her waist  .and she smiled as we walked towards her.

"Really mum. That was a little to extra " he said to her.

"It's not my fault my nose is really sensitive , you really need to take a shower " she laughed. " And who might this lovely lady be? " she asked looking towards me.

"This is zelfelia, I told you I'd bring her over" he explained.

"You're the girl my son doesn't stop talking about " she said and at that moment my face started to heat up.

"You're so pretty ." she smiled .

I saw a man walk down stairs in a suit and he looked well built he's dark blonde hair with a few strands of gray. He walked down and put his hand around Walt's mother's waist and I instantly knew that was his father. He stretch out his hand and I shook it.

"You must be the gifted girl my son speaks of " He said trying to not say witch.

" Witch " I said with a smile " I have no problem with being called that " I expressed and he let out a laugh.

"You're a bold one ,I like it " he said.

Walt's mum quickly turned to him.

"Walter you should go freshen up dinner is almost ready, I'll call you down when it is" she said " don't worry I'll take care of our guest " she smiled.

"And you can go back up to your office I'll link you again when dinner is ready " She told Walters dad and placed a kiss on his cheek.  It was the cutest thing ever and he went back.
And I just realized she probably called him down when I arrived, I forgot wolves could link each through there minds.

His mum and I walked towards the living room and sat.

"How rude of me I hadn't even properly introduced myself " she smiled.
 
" I'm Katherine Jackson . But you can call me Katherine " she expressed.  She was really nice to me

"So how long have you been Luna? "I asked her

"Gareth and I meet when we where nineteen and instantly imprinted on each other ,and from that day we where mates. He only became alpha four years after that and I became Luna of the pack. That was almost twenty years ago. " she explained and I could see she was happy and content with the life she had " The ancestors have kept on blessing me ever since. I once thought I would never find my mate but they have a was, they always do "

"You're really lucky " I smile seeing the happiness she expressed.

"I have a loving husband and three amazing kids what else would I want " that's when I realized that I hadn't seen Walt's siblings. He had a younger sister who was about a year and a half younger than him and a little brother who was about seven years old.

And just then I heard foot steps running down the stairs and I saw a with dark  wavy hair running down the stairs chasing after a little boy.

"Really Adam?  Just give me back my phone! " I heard her shouted at the little boy as he ran behind Katherine ." mum look he grabbed my phone " she snapped.

"April wasn't paying attention to me I was telling her about my project and she wasn't listening, she was just texting" he threw a fit.

"You two we have  a guest if you haven't noticed "  they turned and looked at me.

"Hi I'm April. You must be zelfelia Walt never stops talking about you " she giggled and so did Adam.

" I'm Adam! " the little boy sat next to me " well Walter says you're a witch"  he blurted out .

" Adam !" Katherine shouted.

"It's okay " I smile " yes I am " I looked at him and his eyes widened.

"Can you show me " he asked

"What do you want ?" I raised a brow

"I always wanted a pe-" Katherine cut him off before he could finish.

"You're not getting a pet " she looked at him with a stern look.

"I can do you one better " I smirked. I closed my eyes and focused and used the water in the air to create images of animals moving around the living room. He got up and tried to hold one of them and it burst and the water splashed on his face.

"That's so cool" he raved and I simply giggled " I like you " he gave me a big smile .

"Now can you give me my phone " April asked.

"Only if you promise to listen to me" he negotiated

" Yes " she said and her eyes widened.

"Now I hope you're not bothering her " I heard Walt walk into the living room .

"Why would we. We know you like her " April winked at him and he rolled his eyes. A wave of heat went up my face and I felt shy.

"Dinner is ready " I heard a lady say and we walked of to the dining room.

There's dinner table was set and everything looked great 

Walt's father soon came down and and we sat. Walt's mother said a prayer to the ancestors and we ate.

The the lights started to flicker and Walt's father called someone to get it checked.  Then everything went dark Walt's father to a stand in front of his mate who was holding Adam,  Walt and April's eyes turned gray and I could tell they were ready for what ever was coming. The lights came back on and I saw the last person I expected to see at this moment.

"What are you doing here?" I was afraid but I didn't want anyone to notice.

"Way do I get the feeling that you don't want to see me" he gave a sadistic smile. " I've been keeping tabs on you and when I knew you were with the big bad wolf I just had to come "

"This is between you and me leave then out of it Magnus!" I shouted.  He raised his hand and I was thrown against the wall.
I then saw Walt charge towards him Magnus simply made Walt go flying across the room.

"April watch Adam " I heard Katherine say and I saw her eyes glow a bright blue color and before she could do anything he pushed both her and Walt's father to the wall and they couldn't move.

I got up and tried to use my powers against him cut it was pointless. Then he sent a wave of energy that sent April,  Adam and I fly Adam hit a large mirror and fell to the ground.

"I'll see you around " Magnus smirked and disappeared  

April and Katherine rushed over to Adam who was laying unconscious on the ground with a piece of glass stuck in his stomach. I saw a tear fall down Katherine's face.

"His heart is still beating " April said " he's just unconscious "

"I can help " I said feeling guilty, this was all my fault.

"Stay away from him! " April's eyes stuck on me. " this is your fault "

"I know but I just want to help "I explained but she wouldn't have it.

"April! " Katherine shouted "let her help "

I walked over seeing Adam lay on the ground.

"Walt I want you to pull the glass out and I'll close the wound and stop him from bleeding, you guys heal fast so he should be up in a few hours " I said.

"He's still young he's never shifted before it will take longer " I heard Walt's father say.

I looked down and Walt yanked the glass out and I quickly closed the wound. Katherine lifted him and took him up stairs.

I saw the look in April's eyes, I put her and her family in danger anfmd she wasn't going to forgive me easily.

"I'm sorry " I said to her and walked out Walt followed me out.

"I shouldn't have come. It's all my fault " I felt a tear fall down my face, and I felt him trace his finger and wiped it.

"Let me take you home " he offered and I declined.

"You need to say here with them I'll get back on my own "  I told him

"it's late" he argued
"You're forgetting I'm a witch I'll teleport". I hadn't teleported in a long time but I wasn't going to let him take me home.

I closed my eyes and mumbled the spell and I was in my drive way.
