"So you say you met her in 1850?" I asked and Jerome nodded "But that's impossible, records say she passed in the early fourteenth century "

"That's what she wanted everyone to think "

Someone knocked on the door and slowly pushed it open my mother was standing by the door.

"Sorry to disturb the two of you .can I come in ?" she asked.

"Of coarse you can mum" I smile at her

"I'll just leave the two of you " Jerome said as he got up.

"Oh no sit, I came in to tell you something " she said and he sat back down "Lia I know you love this place, it's your home and you're turning 18 in two weeks . So you don't want to go back ,you can stay it's all up to you " she told me . When we moved to Lakewood ten months ago, I wanted nothing but to move back here. But lately I haven't thought about it. I always thought I'd just go back. It had become my home, I loved kildera but Lakewood was now my home.

I thought about everyone back in Lakewood, the memories I've made, all the new bonds I share with everyone. Katherine she had become so important to me, she was like a second mother to me, little Adam, and April ,Walt, Dean and Bonnie. They were all family now, I couldn't  just leave.

"And what are you gonna do " I asked her. And she gave me a small smile.

"I'm gonna be with my baby girl " I saw a tear roll down her cheek,i wiped it off her face and let out a small laugh .

"Then we're going back " I told her and I could see her eye light up "I need to go to college, and he needs someone to look out for him " I said and Jerome rolled his eyes.

"Then we'll go back tomorrow " she said "I'll leave you two " she said as she got up walking out of the room.

We where back in Lakewood, my mom ,Jerome and I. Isis decided to stay she had grown fond of my grandma.

When we got home, I walked Jerome to the tree lines before he went home. Then I rushed back to the house, my mother was sitting on the couch.

"Do you miss them? " I asked her.

"Miss what? "

"Your powers? " she simply grinned and raised her hand and soon there was a blue magical orb in her hand.

"Got them back ,when you got rid of Magnus " she said ."Now let's talk about more interesting things " she smirked.

"Like what? "

"That boyfriend of yours " I felt my face heat up in embarrassment, I wasn't going to have this talk with her, not today.

"Oh hell no ,we aren't having this discussion "

"Are you blushing? " she giggled.

"Are you trying to act like  a teenager? "

"I'm just trying to spend more time with my little girl that's all "

"Let's watch something, instead I'll go get the popcorn you turn on the TV " I said  walking away.

Before I knew it it was my birthday,i woke up and went down stairs, my mum was down stairs.

"I'll be going out, I have a couple of things to deal with " she said leaving the house in a hurry. She hadn't said anything. I went over and sat on the couch and that's when I got a call from  Katherine.

"Hey sweet heart "

"Good morning Katherine "

"Adam is feeling to good and he keeps asking for you " she sounded worried. "Can you be here in like two hours. I know you probably have a lot on your plate "

"Don't worry I'll be there " I said and she cut the line I went up and took a shower got read and left the house. I decided to take a taxi over, I needed to get used to acting normal.

When I got to the house I found Jerome by the door.

"What are you doing here? "

"I just got here, Katherine asked me to come over l he said " let's go in, we got into the house but there was no one in sight, Jerome held my hand and lead me to the back of the house. And Adam came running towards me.

"Happy birthday Lia! " she said with a big smile.And that's when I noticed everyone, my mother, Katherine, Adam, April, and Walt and his mate and other people I had come to know.

I thought seeing Walt and saffron would be hard, but having Jerome by my side felt even better. I guess everyone has someone that's made for them. Jerom and I walked over to where everyone was, I let go of his had and walked over to Saffron and Walt, she looked tense almost like she wanted to attack me but I couldn't help myself but hug her.

"Thank you ,if you hadn't shown up at the right time, I would have made one of the biggest mistakes " I whispered in her ear. "He's a really good person and a good friend take care of him "I said moving away.

"And you take care of her " I told him. And walked back to Jerome.

Everyone was enjoying the get together, But I hadn't seen Bonnie and Dean. Walt mentioned that they left town for a while . But I wasn't going to get into detail, they probably had reasons.
