"God, I've missed you so much"

The last month I've been in LA with the guys performing for the KCA's, iHeart Radio awards and a few shows for the fans just to show that we haven't forgotten about them. Even though we will never forget about them because if it wasn't for the 5sosfam, we wouldn't be where we are today. Granted it was amazing to be back in action.... Holy shit did I miss my family.

"I missed you more, love" I held Laur tighter in my embrace "where the kids at?"

"With your mom. They think you're coming home tomorrow" Laur said pulling away from me

"Let's go surprise them then" I gave her a quick kiss before lacing our fingers together and walking out of the airport.

"Luke!" Mum gushed "I thought you were suppose to fly in tomorrow?"

I glanced at Laur as I brought Mum in for a hug "I wanted to surprise you and the kids. Where are they?"

"In the theater room. Unfortunately they both have come down with a small cold"

I couldn't help but pout "I guess it's time for cuddles and movies then"

Laur and Mum giggled as we made our way to the theater room. It wasn't anything fancy that you would expect to see in MTV cribs, but it was big enough for the whole family to come in, relax and just watch good movies. I thought that Matty and Soph would be asleep, but I was wrong. The moment I stepped into the room both of them jumped from their positions on the couch and running towards me; tackling me to the floor in the process

"Daddy!"

"We missed you!"

"You aren't supposed to be home til tomorrow!"

I couldn't help but laugh at the two of them. I was only gone for a month but I feel like it was longer because both Matt and Sophia looked bigger. "Well since I missed you guys so so much, I came home a day earlier"

"We missed you more then Mummy did!" Matty beamed

I chuckled "oh yeah?"

"Yeah, It was weird without you home" Soph said with a sad smile

"I know kiddo. But it's my job to go all over the world and play for people. You know that" i looked at her "I promise the next time I go away you, your brother and mummy are coming with me. Deal?"

Soph smiled "deal. Wait! Daddy! Did you win?"

I couldn't help but smile and pull out my phone to show Soph the picture of the guys and I with the best fan army award. "Now, how about some pizza and a movie marathon?"

The kids yelled in excitement as they went back to their spots on the couch. I felt Laur wrapped her arms loosely around my arm and lean her head on my shoulder "welcome home, Luke"

"It's good to be home"

Nope. Nope. Nope. I absolute refuse to believe that sophia is 16 years old and her sweet 16 is in full swing. Nope. I refuse to believe it.

"You okay, Luke?" Michael asked walking towards me

I glanced over at Soph who was over on the dance floor with her friends in the neighborhood "not at all. How is my baby girl 16 already? I feel like just yesterday she was turning one!"

"I know what you are saying dude" Michael chuckled "just last week I found a gray hair"

"I'm surprised you could"

"Asshole"

"Well it's true. I'm actually surprised you even have hair left"

"Yeah me too"

We were cut off short by a slow song coming on and Sophia dancing on the floor with Cullen. I smiled softly at the sight

"Isn't that cute?" Laur asked softly beside me

"Absolutely" I smiled down at her

"You know, Casey's been telling me every time Soph is mentioned, Cullen gets all excited and starts blushing"

"Ohh no. Don't push the idea of dating already"

"I'm not pushing. But she did already ask me if he was really her cousin" Laur said wrapping her arms around my torso

I groaned "what did you tell her"

"the truth" Laur smiled "and they're going on a movie date"

"Alright. Dad mode is kicking in. Where are they going? Who is taking them? What are they going to see? And he better not pull the move on her" I said sternly

"Luke, relax. It's Cal's son you don't need to worry" Laur giggled

"I repeat, he better not pull the move on her"

"Chill out will you. They're just going to the movies. Cal is dropping them off and you are picking them up"

I sighed in defeat "I just don't want her growing up anymore then she already is"

Laur giggled and pulled me close to kiss me "stop being such a dad and enjoy this night"

"Dad? You're not mad, are you?" Soph spoke softly next to me

I turned my body so I was fully facing her "Mumble, why would I be mad?"

"Well for starters I've asked you questions like if I looked okay, and all you said was 'mhm'"

I sighed softly and draped my arm around her shoulder "Soph, I'm no where near mad at you. Alright? It's just you're my baby girl and I'm having a really had time accepting the fact that you're growing up in front my eyes"

"Daddy, I'll always be your little girl. You should know that" Soph giggled "I mean you have been pretty over protective, but other then that you're a pretty cool dad"

"Hey I am not over protective"

"Uh, dad. Yes you are. A few months ago when Charlie broke up with me you were ready to kill him" Soph giggled again. I couldn't help but giggle with her

"Like I said you are my baby girl and I want the best for you. And the whole charlie thing was because it was your first break up and you took it hard"

"I know" Soph signed

"You alright?" I tooled at her

"Just kind of nervous for tonight. I mean Uncle Cal is basically like family but I kind of like Cullen. He's nice to me"

I chuckled "I'm not telling you yes or no. But what I am telling you is follow your heart. If you're heart wants Cullen, then so be it. Don't let me or Mum change your mind, got it?"

"I got it dad" Soph giggled and brought us into a hug "I love you, don't forget it"

"Oh I can never forget that Soph" I smiled at her trying my best not to tear up. A few seconds later a knock came to the door letting us know the Cullen had arrived. Soph was about to leave when she turned around and hugged me tight again

"I'll always be your little mumble" she whispered, place a kiss on my cheek and out the door she went.

At that moment I knew she was going to be alright.
