"What about this one?" Currently Laur and I were going through different nursery themes for Matthew; who's literally do any day now and we wait till
now to get this done.

"Nah, too many people do the baby jungle theme. Plus I'm pretty sure Cal and Casey did that for Cullen" Laur said "what about this one?"

I smiled at her "I like it, it's perfect" the nursery she had picked was actually a really good one. Two walls were grey and the other two were black. The crib was placed in the middle with skateboard boards lined on the walls and a few guitars on the walls as well. Along with a city skyline picture.

"We'll get started on it this weekend, yeah?"

"Oh no. You're not doing anything" I told her

"And why not?"

"Because you're still on bed rest" I said "plus you've been complaining about foot and back pain... More than you did with Soph"

"That's because he's bigger than what Soph was" Laur rolled her eyes

"Whatever" I chuckled "I'll see if Ben, Jack and the guys can help out"

"Whatever you say babe"

"I've been thinking" I said to Lauryn randomly

"Should i be worried?" Laur giggled

"No!" I laughed along with Laur "but I know when we start a new album and tour you're not going to want to to go"

"That's a good possibility" Laur said nodding her head "so what are you thinking"

"We can put Soph in preschool. I was talking about it with Mum and she said Soph is around the right age. Plus she can still have a normal life like you wanted" I looked at her, but was surprised to see tears in her eyes "you alright?"

"Do you even know how long I've been wanting to talk to you about that?" Laur managed a laugh

I laughed with her "no, not really"

"It's been a while, actually"

"Well, it's settled now. So no we can start looking at schools" I smiled at her

We were laying in bed a few days later, when it happened. I actually thought Laur peed the bed but soon realized that it was her water that broke and my son was on his way into our lives.

"You actually remembered the hospital bag" Laur giggled. Weirdly enough, laur's second pregnancy pains didn't bother her as much as the first time around.

"I put it in the car as soon as you were done putting it all together" I looked at her "you sure you're not in like, any pain?"

"No Luke, the contractions haven't fully started yet"

I kissed her cheek "let's go meet our baby boy"

Matthew Robert had striking blue eyes and a lot of blond hair.

"Besides the hair eyes and nose, he looks exactly like you, love" I told Laur softly

"Mommies perfect baby boy" Laur held his tiny little hand and kissed his forehead

"Looks like I have some competition" I joked, but still Laur swatted at my chest "I'm only kidding"

"Daddy, why he so small" Soph asked, finally able to see her little brother

"Well, he hasn't started growing up. Soon he'll be a big kid, just like you"

"Tan I hold him?" Soph asked sweetly

"Of course, go sit next to mummy"

Soph quickly got up on the hospital bed and sat next to Laur. Carefully Laur put Matthew in Soph's arms as I took out my phone so I could capture my favorite moment so far

"Nana!" Soph yelled the moment she laid eyes on laur's Mum. Ever since those two worked things out, Soph has been on every Skype call Laur has made to her mum.

"Phee!" Elizabeth said mocking Soph's excitement

Soph eyed the small packages in Elizabeth's hands "and you bring pwents!"

"I did. One is for you, and the other is for your baby brother" Elizabeth laughed then walked over and gave me a hug "Luke, it's good to see you"

"Likewise" I gave her a small smile "Laur's in the kitchen making Matthews bottle"

Just as I finished speaking Laur walking into the family room "Mom! You made it!"

"Of course! I told you I would" Elizabeth smiled before Laur pulled her into a bear hug. I was silently watching them until Soph grabbed my hand

"Daddy! Look!" Soph giggled

"Whatcha got, mumble?" I looked at her

"It's a dollie!" Soph smiled really big

"What are you going to name her?"

"Dollie, duh daddy!" So much sass for a three year old, definitely been around Calum too long.

Seriously sorry this update is late and sorry that it's dragging out so much, I've been waiting til after Matthew was born & the Hastings/Irwin wedding to pass before I speed things up, like a lot.

I can't believe this story is almost at 20K! Like I know that's not a lot but to me it is, it really enough is so thank you for that. Also, would I sound like a complete bitch if I ask you guys to comment more.....?

ANYWAYS! If you guys wouldn't mind checking out another story that I posed a couple days ago called 'Another World' and its an Ashton story :D
