"you're so cute, spence!"

"because i wear basic clothing?" he asked, laughing a little as he furrowed his brows.

you smiled up at him as the two of you walked to the crime scene.

"it's the socks," you said to him. "you're so cute when you wear mismatched socks with your converse and your polka dot shirt with the little- what?"

he laughed a little, looking down at you.

"nothing," he replied. "i just find it cute how you are so invested in my clothing choices."

"it's something that drew me to you," you told him. "besides the way you look and act. and your height is so-"

"please don't say attractive," he said with a slight laugh.

you shrugged.

"it is," you said to him. "you're so tall."

he smiled to himself, looking over at you as you smiled to yourself.

"it's cute how much you like me," he said as you grabbed ahold of his hand in yours. you looked up at him.

"i love you," you said as you smiled at him. he stopped, pressing a kiss to your forehead before starting to walk once more towards the crime scene.
