"yes, you do," reid said as he laughed to himself while you lightly punched his arm with a smile on your face. "you always do that."

"always do what?" you asked with a laugh.

"you're so jealous that i bet you couldn't go a day without making me know that you're jealous of some other girl," reid said, crossing his arms as you looked up at him.

"hm," you muttered. "challenge accepted, spence."

"guys, we're gathering," morgan said as the two of you joined him in walking up to the conference room.

"ma'am, can we ask you some questions?" you asked the young girl as she nodded, looking up at your boyfriend who was sitting down next to you. she gave him a small smile as she stared at him, looking him up and down.

you looked down to your lap, biting your lip hard as you tried to not focus on her checking out spence.

"ma'am, where were you going on tuesday?" you asked, taking a deep inhale as reid looked over at you. your hand was patting your leg briskly while momentarily pausing to scratch the top layer of the pants you were wearing which caused reid to sigh to himself while you continued with the interview.

when you both got back to the station, reid looked around and made sure no one was looking before pulling you with him into a nearby room as he closed the door and pressed his lips to yours.

you let go out of confusion.

"what are you doing?" you asked softly.

"i don't want to see you bothered by anything like that," he responded, pressing a brief kiss to your lips before continuing with his sentence. "you shouldn't be told not to be jealous of me."

you nodded as he pressed his lips back to yours briefly.

"i mean, that girl was really hitting on me bad," he said as you nodded up at him.

"she was," you told him while he put his lips back to yours before letting go to let you talk. "she really wanted you, spence."

he smiled. "too bad i'm taken," he said as you chuckled, pressing another kiss to his lips.

"so, i guess, you technically won this challenge?" he said as you nodded, looking up into his soft brown eyes. he smiled sweetly at you. "i'm glad you did."

you smiled back up at him, bringing him back to your lips as you pulled him close. after letting go momentarily, you heard someone approaching the room before the door opened.

you and reid let go of each other as you straightened yourself up quickly and nodded to him.

morgan walked in as he gave you both a suspicious look.

"did i interrupt something or-?" he asked but you shook your head, bouncing on your toes a little before looking over at reid and giving him a sweet smile.

"actually," you told him. "we were just finishing up. where's the team?" you asked.

morgan chuckled. "they're in the main room we set up in. j.j. has set up some photos for all of us to look at and discover anything that's similar with the victims."

you nodded, grabbing reid's hand as you and him followed morgan out and to the main room where all of your teammates were set up.
