So funfact

Loki having a thing for Mari has been a thing since like,,, a little while after I created these three tbh

But I only just recently made it an official/legitimate crush cuz after I did a that doodle for Mari's new hairstyle(bottom left) I was like "Loki would 100% make a big deal out of it cuz that's gay and also that's gonna be a canon, like, situation" so I did that

Also alot of the time I started from the bottom left of a page and go up and/or to the side so the top right doodle on the first(left) page is the last one I did there

It's like a zig-zag pattern

Also context of said top right one I realized they both have that like,, curled piece of hair in front of their ears, so I did a quick doodle to show that- tho I didn't make it super clear so,,,,

It was probanly just an exuse to draw Mari again

She's fun to draw

I think out of the whole crew that I've draw, her and Aiden are the easiest-maybe cuz I've had to draw them alot-which kinda fits since they're the main protagonists, so they're gonna be in the chapters almost all the time,,,

Oh speaking of, I should give context into that probably,,,

So, Aiden was always the original main protagonist of course, since the story starts with him, but a while back I started wanting to make Mari more and more important, and ended up having her be the same level of importance to the story as Aiden,,, but in a different way.

Aiden is the protagonist that-while the story is in third person-we see and follow mostly through him.

But Mari is important in the sense of like,,, keepong the story on track, and also showing another side of the story that Aiden might not be able to interact with

Cuz, Aiden is honestly really scatterbrained half the time, and can get lost on one topic if he focuses on it to much-and most of the time that topic is suped irrelevant-so, because of being focused on Aiden most of the time, the narrator starts to pick up his scattered behavior,,,, while Mari os very to the point and just like "stop wasting time, we need to do this and be done." so the narrator will pick up on that the more they follow her.

Basically Mari and Aiden balance each other out.

And also, Loki doesn't care about accomplishing goals so they really don't help at all

They just,,,,,, spectate.

If you haven't noticed, I also changed Aiden's hairstyle!

And nooooow for an explanation cuz there's reasons for it :D

*¹ - Uhhhhh the hairstyle I gave him in the starter player redesigns I made back in March was stupid and also looked weird??? Like that's not-nobody's hair looks like that???? Sire hair sticks up but not lke tHAT

*² - Then in the concept I made in may to fix it was kinda the same thing only the gravity of the hair's situationade actual sense,,,
Not to mention that in that concept I was considering getting rid of the ponytail pFFFT I could never

*³ - And then finally the final choice! It's simple, it makes sense, it looks nice-and honeslt I think it fits him

It looks like a hairstyle that 18 y/o that finished highschool and still lives with his dad would have if he just needed to tie his hair back tbh

It also fits his theme of being Japanese and an anime protagonist👌👌👌👌👌

It's nice and now I can enjoy drawing him

Also after I drew the cover for Pre-Chapter 2, I did a couple doodles of Mari & Anju because uM I BAVEN'T DRAWN ANJU IN FOREVER AND ALSO I might've crafted another ship.... <:3c

Random funfact: since it's never really hot in Dearricheaus, and is either warm, or cold, Mari's always wearing her jacket unless it's not cold in a building(which it is most of the time), cuz her jacket is nice and thicc and warm(cuz it's gotta be thicc to survive against her acidic bodily fluids pffft)

But, even tho most of Anju's house is cold cuz idk Vampires, Anju's room is always alot warmer???? Maybe it's cuz Anju doesn't drink human blood so she's not resistant to the cold,,,,,, idk ot doesn't matter---

Long story short Mari takes off her jacket when she's in Anju's room and that's why her kacket is around her waist in te drawing aNYWAYS

Uh so now Mari, Anju and Loki are in this weird love hexagon/square/nonc connecting line????

Basically;

Loki has a crush on Mari
But Mari has a crush on Anju
But Anju has a crush on Princess/Pop idol Erai Kobayashi(who hasn't shown up yet) since Erai was first on TV
BUT Erai's daughter of the rulers of Heaphioryon and was arranged to marry Teiran(who wasn't the king of Dearricheaus at the time) but they called it off then and later on, all the way up to now she's had a crush on hIM
BUT Teiran and Taitum start dating at somepoint at the beginning of the book "off screen" so it's unrequited???? And it's basically Pearl, Rose, and Greg's situation only double the gay

It starts off simple but then it gets complicated

But I have this list of the ships that are likely and least likely to happen,,

And the Anrai ship isn't very like

Nor is the Lori(Loki x Mari)

BUT

The Maju(Mari x Anju) ship, is >:3

It's just,,, Mari's convinced that that's never gonna happen cuz like

Anju talks about Erai like sO much
And is convinced that said star is like,,,, her one true love pfft

So Mari's kinda sad(this is what I meant when I said she was already slightly hurt, KwirtyGames)

But it'll all work out!

....If nobody dies anyways at least

But then again of anyone dies it'll either be Aiden, who'll just "respawn," or Mari who will also most likely respawn

So, as dark as it is, if someone else died, they could just like,,,,, kill the other real quick, kinda like in a lucid nightmare but they can't kill themselves cuz that's too dark

Oh right, the doodle of Aiden in that hole thing,,

That's basically a totally 100% accurate reenactment of how he fell into that giant crater inthe middle of the street and was ~~transported~~ from Earth Omexus

Cuz if you didn't know, the country Voiphara is a country in Omexus, and Omexus is the name of my OC universe and is alos it's own planet

SO BASICALLY HE WAS ABDUCTED BY AN INVISIBLE UFO I'M REALIZING
