Day 10 - Comfort Kisses: Melrus

Back at it again with the gay couple that's also technically not gay cuz Meeeeeelll iiiiiisssss traaaaaaaansssssgeeeeeenddddeeeeerrrrr//slapped

Also this probably the first time I've draw Cyrus nOT happy. Should I be proud of that??? Idk

•Jumping right into it, the reason Cy's crying at all is cuz;

I dont remember if I've mentioned this previously, but Cy was supposed to have a twin brother, but he died during birth

And she was actually supposed to be named Coralline, while the twin brother was supposed to be named Cyrus.

So to keep a memory of him, Cy's parents(Griffin & Julia) named her Cyrus instead. And then after Griffin remarried to Pyrrha(cuz Griffin & Julia divorced when Cy was like,, 7) and had Cy's little sister, they named her Coralline.

Because of that, she sometimes(not all the time) feels like she should've been the one that died during birth instead,,, and that him not making it was her fault somehow cuz she would've been the older twin.

It's also why she crossdresses and uses both female and male pronouns; it makes her feel more connected to her brother.

•I plan on designing what her brother would've looked like, as an alternative timeline thing where they both were born.

But first I'm gonna make a proper ref for Melrus cuz I WANNA BE MORE CONSISTENT WITH THE WAY I DRAW THEM GDI!!!

•On a random note I did a sketch practicing perspective that I'm probably gonna line after I'm done with math, so yeet.

As well as, the music at the top is a kinda,,,, spoiler/sneak peek for a Melrus thing I wanna do at some point. Yea,,,
