I looked at both Shu and Lui. Both were glaring at each other. And guess who was in the middle? THIS GIRL! I can't really understand what was going on right now. All I knew was that they were fighting.
"Stay away from her flame brain! Leave (y/n) alone!"
"Why should I Kurenai?! She was my friend first. So why do I have to let her hang out with a weak blader like you!"
"You can't be serious! (y/n) is my friend and only mine! You can go fall into a well!"
They sound like girls in a cat fight. Yet do you wanna know who they were fighting about, me. So let's go back a bit, cause you're probably wondering, what happened to make these two strong rivals. Well lets just say i made them go after each other more than they already did.

EARLIER THAT DAY
Today I'm hanging out with Shu at the beach near the bey park. While I was walking over to there I saw Lui. You see Lui and I have been friends for a long time. He's like a brother to me.
Then compare him to Shu, I... may or may not like him. Shu is amazing, I love him. I've told Lui about this and he took it, interestingly. Lui looked at me, blinked and asked me to repeat that again. I did and told Lui again. The same thing happened. Blinked, then asked me to repeat again.
It took him till the fifth time for him to finally process what I was saying. I kind of laughed at that and he yelled at me, Luke in a friend way.
Anyways, I saw Lui while going to meet Shu at the beach near the bey park. Lui ran over to me and began to talk to me.
"Hey (y/n)! How are you doing today?" Lui asked.
"Well I was actually going to hang out with Shu today at the beach near the bey park." I replied.
"I still don't understand why you like him? I'm a way better blader than him. You could at least find a blader as good as I am." Lui said with a snark in his crisp voice.
"Can you please leave my love life alone Lui!" I whined.
"Why should I? You're like a sister to me, and shouldn't I worry about my friend sister?" Lui said. He sounded inoccent, yet sarcastic at the same time. This guy really scares me sometimes. Yet what I didn't know was that a pair of crimson red eyes were starring in the back of my head from a tree.

SHU'S POV
Okay so you can call it stalking but I call it making sure my love interest was okay and safe. There is a HUGE difference people! Anyways I asked (y/n) to go to the beach today to maybe ask her to be my girlfriend. The maybe was due to seeing how the hang out would go that day.
I had it all planned, go swimming when she got there, dry up on the beach, then have a picnic on the sand when the sun was setting to finally ask her to be my girlfriend. Of course that had to just get ruined by Lui, her other best friend. I still can't understand how she met him. Out of all people she could've became friends with, it had to be Lui!
I was watching their conversation from behind an oak tree. Barely hearing their conversation, all I could hear were chunks and pieces. Some were like, "Hang out... Shu... love life... leave my love life alone..." Does she like me? Well I mean I like her. Then again I don't exactly know.
She's been hanging out with Lui a lot. Am I jealous? No! I'm not, I like her but I can't be jealous. I'm Shu Kurenai, the coolest blader in Japan. I've just been a little stressed about (y/n) and mine's relationship. I'm not jealous at all.
Then one sentence caught my attention. "Well so what if I like Shu! I can still be your friend Lui!" She really does like me. Then Lui pulled (y/n) into a huge, tight hug. Now that boiled my blood. She just said she liked me and then Lui pulls her into a hug.
"Stay away from her flame brain! Leave (y/n) alone!"

BACK TO REALITY
YOUR POV
How did I get into this situation? All I wanted to do was hang out with Shu today! Then I saw Lui. I should've just kept walking when he said hi to me.
"Why do you care so much about her Kurenai!? Do you like her or something?!" Lui yelled.
This put a blood red blush on both mine and Shu's face. Shu said nothing at that moment. This worries me. Did he hear that I like him? Does he not like me back? What's going on!?
"I don't have to explain myself to you!" With that Shu came over to myself and lifted me up and over his shoulder.
"S-shu? What are you doing?" I asked flustered. My face felt like it was going to blow up and my heart was racing one hundred miles an hour.
Shu walked away with myself still on his shoulder. He didn't answer me. As Shu kept walking away I saw Lui wink at me. Was He trying to help me?
When we were a ways away from Lui we stopped at a cherry blossom tree. Shu finally put me down and sat me on the green grass. He sat down next to me and looked into my eyes. "(y/n), you are the light to my day and night. You have the most beautiful (h/l) (h/c) in the world and the prettiest (color) eyes. I know this is extremely sudden but, will you be my girlfriend?"
I was in shock. Shu held my hands in his and his cherry red eyes were filled with love. "I... I will!" I screamed and then engulfed him into a hug.
"Thank goodness! Now when Lui tries to take you away from me I have a reason to take you away." Shu joked.
"Oh, so you were jealous weren't you." I said with a smirk on my face.
"M-maybe." Shu replied.
"So the coolest blader in Japan was jealous! Aww, you're so cute when you're Jealous and-" He cut me off with a passionate kiss. When we pulled away we went back into a hug. "No matter what, I will never stop loving you..."
