Lui x Guardian Angel! Reader (I Don't Need You: Part 1)

3rd PERSON POV
Ever since Lui was young he would never have anyone there for him. His mother died when he was young and his father just never seemed to care. Yet there was always one person sent down from heaven just for him, so he wouldn't be alone.
That angel was none other than (y/n) (l/n). From the age of eight she had the most pure of heart. She was assigned to the boy who needed her most at the age of eight.
"We know you are young, but we believe you will be the perfect fit for that boy." The lead angel said.
"I promise I won't let you down!" (y/n) exclaimed.
When she was sent down, she wasn't expecting to be put with such a cold hearted boy. What she also didn't expect was that he would be able to see her.
"Who are you and what are you doing in my house!?" Lui exclaimed.
"What! How can you see me?!" (y/n) replied.
"Why do you have wings!?" This basically kept going on. (y/n) had to explain who she was. She was supposed to help Lui make safe desicions that would help him or others.
"And why can't you leave me alone?" Lui asked.
"I can only leave you alone when you want me to leave. I'm your guardian angel after all. Then again, I'm here to accompany you and help you make great decisions." (y/n) replied while smiling.
"Okay I guess. So... you wanna hang out or something?" Ever since then Lui had never asked her to leave.

LUI V.S. SHU FINALS
YOUR POV
I watched from afar as Lui was getting ready for the final battle against Shu. On one hand, I wanted my best friend Lui to win. Then again, I can't really choose sides since I am an angel after all.
Over the years of Lui's and my friendship, I've realized how bad his father is. I've been the only close person-angel-thing he's had in a long time. Still, I try my best to have him make good choices. Lui may not be the perfect person, but then again, nobody is perfect!
Both boys got into their launching stances and got ready for the last battle.

The battle was heated. I was so drawn to the battle that my (color) wings were fully extended. The beys clashed again and again. Sparks of blue and red flew out of the stadium. I looked at Lui. He just looked so cute when he was in battle.
Wait what! I-I didn't just think that, did I? Anyways, back to the battle and forget about my thought that I totally didn't have! Lui gave in with one final stroke. Spryzen burst and the top layer flung back towards Shu's eye.
Everything after that was a blur. The scream, the blood, the tears from my eyes as I saw all the red.
After that battle I was a little upset. "Lui!"
"What's the matter (y/n)?" Lui asked with a very suspicious innocent tone.
"You know what you did Lui! I thought we talked about not doing anything like this! I don't care if you act like a cold hearted person, but you shouldn't be doing anything like this! We talked about this!" I yelled. I've never been so mad at Lui in my entire guardian angel life.
"I'm sorry (y/n). I know you don't want me doing things like this. It was an honest mistake, I promise." Lui said sincerely.
"Fine, I believe you Lui. Just don't do it again!" I scolded.
"*Tch* Okay mom." Lui said as he rolled his dark purple eyes towards me.
"Ugh! Lui!" The rest of that day was spent with me chasing Lui around his backyard.

LUI V.S. SHU SEMI-FINALS
Here we go again. Lui verses Shu. Just like last year, but Lui promised me to not do anything like he did to Shu the year before.

FLASHBACK
"Okay Lui! Are you ready for today?!" I asked.
"What do you think? Of course I'm ready, and I'm going to win." Lui replied with a hint of cockiness in his voice.
"Okay then, but you need to promise me something."
"And what would that be?" Lui asked.
"You need to promise me that you won't do anything as bad or worse than what you did to Shu last year. Okay?" I explained to Lui.
"Okay, I promise (y/n). Now let's get going. I know people can't see you, but I still want you to get there early enough to get a good seat." I blushed at this. Lui was never really the caring type, but he has his moments.
"Then let's go Lui!" I grasped Luis wrist and left to the stadium.

END OF FLASHBACK
Well, he goes nothing I guess. "Good luck Lui!" I yelled, even though I knew he was the only one who could hear me. He spared me a small glance and got into his launching position.

"LET IT... RIP!!!"

It was so familiar. That battle, the way it started. The way all the blue and red sparks. Exactly like the year before. It was all to familiar. It was terrifying.
Lui felt bad about what he did to Shu the precious year, and he also didn't enjoy how I scolded him like how his mother used too.
The final match began. Lui looked like he was about to lose. Then it happened. Shu's top layer of his bey broke in two.
I was staring wide eyed and mouth agape. I knew Lui was capable of a lot, but I didn't know he was capable of so much.
I was upset and annoyed. He promised me he wouldn't do anything worse than what he did the year before. When the battle was over I waited until we got back to Lui's house to yell at him.
"Lui!" I screamed. My (color) wings shot open. "What did you promise me?! Are you serious!" My scolding was way worse than the year before.
"Don't you think I feel bad (y/n)? Well I do! So can you just lay off!"
"You broke Shu's bey!" I yelled.
"Stop it (y/n)! I get it! I made a huge mistake and I can't take it back. I feel terrible! So please just stop." Lui began. "You know what? Why don't you leave me alone!!!"
I was taken aback. This meant my work was done, and I would return back to heaven. "Okay then Lui." I began in a weak voice on the verge of tears. "I hope you have a great life then."
I started to disappear. In the distance I heard Lui yell, I just didn't know what he yelled...
