Suoh x Reader (You Left Me Behind Part: 1)

FLASHBACK
3RD POV
"Hey Suoh, you promise no matter what you won't leave without telling me... right?" (y/n) asked.
"You know I can't promise that, but for now I can." Suoh smiled at the young (h/l) haired girl. Both ten year olds enjoyed each other's company, always playing in their secret garden that they found. Playing without a care in the world.
Each one knew each other when both got lost in the garden. After they found each other it didn't seem so bad to them. Then Suoh and (y/n) decided to always come back to there and just hang out with each other.
After a while they both got to know each other and hung out all the time. Escaping to the garden to relieve any stress in their lives. Both talked about how both their families compeated in the world of technology and appliances. Their families weren't swarn enemies or the best of friends. Both companies were just, meh with each other.
(y/n) laid down on the lushus grass covered with lilacs and daisies. Both flowers were part of the everlasting garden. "I hope our friendship will never end."
"You know I have more and more responsibilities, and blading is becoming a bigger thing in my life, but I'll always try to be here for you."
"Okay Suoh..." The young girl yawned. "I love you Suoh..." She then drifted off to sleep.
"I love you too, my flower. You're my everything." Suoh replied with a blush. Yet little did the young girl know, things were about to change. Sometimes promises were meant to be broken...

PRESENT
YOUR POV
I waited every day for him for six years. Yet it felt like six thousand years. Now here I am, in a stupid meeting room with a stupid ball gown dress on with my dad talking about how I'm going to marry someone. This stinks! This is how things have been ever since Suoh left, most likely for his "responsibilities". Lately though I've had to learn to be a "lady".
"Look, I guess my daughter will marry your son to seal the deal with our companies." My father said on the phone.
"What! Father, you mean I'm going to marry someone I don't know!" I yelled. He barely acknowledge me and just put a finger over his mouth. "Ugh, fine."
I pulled out a chair and angrily sat down and slouched. My maid looked at me and sighed. "Miss (y/n), you must learn to accept what your father decides." I really wanted too, but I don't want to do something I never agreed with.
My father hung up the phone and looked at me. "Sweetheart, your fiance will come over to see you tomorrow."
   "Yes dad."
"Don't be informal with me, you need to learn to grow up." I looked down at the floor. "Look, I know things have been different since mom has died, but you need to grow up." Huffing I walked away to my room.

SOUH'S POV
I finally get to see her again. How would she react when she saw me. Would she be upset, or would she be overjoyed to see me. I guess leaving without telling her was breaking our promise. But I'll make it up to her, we have all the time in the world once we're married. I love her, but I had to grow up by myself, she'll understand.
Looking at myself in the mirror I get ready to embark on my trip to the (l/n) manor. Walking over to my garden I sighed. "Maybe a flower would cheer her up when I got there?" I picked a daisy and a lilac. "This will do." Then I grabbed my stuff and headed to the car.

THE NEXT DAY
YOUR POV
There was a ring at the door. I heard my maid opened the door and greeted the unknown man that was going to be my fiance. I stood up from where I was sitting in the study. Looking down at my ball gown dress that was ruby red and had gold tracings at the edges.
Then when I went to go walk down the gold encrusted stairs I couldn't believe who I saw. That white haired two toned jerk face. "(y/n)!"
When I reached the bottom of the stairs Suoh sprinted up and hugged me. Then he put a lilac and daisy in my hair. He's acting like nothing ever happened."What are you doing!" Venom dripped from my voice.
He let go of me surprised. Suoh grasped my hand. "I'm sorry (y/n), I should have told you."
"Don't think that sorry is just going to fix what you did!" I was practically yelling at Suoh by now. My maid had ran away, probably to go get my father. Suoh just stared into my (color) eyes.
"Look, I know I did some stupid stuff but-"
"Oh just cram it Suoh! As if you cared. You abandoned me! Do you just expect me to forgive you out of the blue! You left me for six years, six long years I waited for you in that garden, then you decide to just come back into my life. You don't care about me at all!"
I couldn't take it anymore, I pulled my hand out of his grasp and ran up to my room. Opening the door to my room I shut it, then plopped myself onto the (color) comforter. Tears found their way on my face and cheeks. Memories of the garden flooded back into my mind. "Why, why now. Why did you have to come back now..." I kept mumbling these words. He could've come back sooner. He Could have told me he was going to leave. That yellow eyed boy could've done something. Something that wouldn't have broken his promise to me.
Now here we are. I'm going to have to marry him. This is how my life is going to go, and I wish I could've changed it.
