Ex! Free x Ex! Reader (Why Did You Leave Me Alone?)

FREE'S POV
It's been three weeks, more like a life time. I haven't been with (y/n) for three long weeks. It's all because of my stupid, idiotic self. If I just took time to hang out with my girlfriend none of this would happen. Instead I spent all my time with Fafnir.

FLASHBACK
"Hey Free!" Exclaimed my (h/c) haired girlfriend. I didn't look up, I just kept launching my bey into the stadium and responded with a nod.
"Can I talk to you?" Her voice instantly got serious. I looked up from the stadium and stared right into her eyes, but still showing no emotion.
"What's the matter (y/n)?" I asked, not ready to what she was going to tell me.
"It's been a while since we've hung out, and I know you want to work hard to beat Valt but you've been ignoring me for months. You even forgot our five year anniversay! I know this sounds kind of selfish, but you haven't seemed to care about me this whole time." I was taken a back, but also upset at her.
"What do you mean! I've paid as much attention to you as any other time! Just stop being so annoying." I yelled. I was just so angry. I should be able to practice whenever I want for as long as I want. I don't need someone getting in my way.
"I'm sorry Free, but we've done absolutely nothing in the span of a month!" (y/n) began to raise her voice a bit.
"I don't need someone getting in the way of me becoming the best, so if you mind leave Fafnir and I alone!" I screamed. This was so out of character for me, but either way I turned around and faced the bey stadium.
"F-fine. If you don't need anyone bothering you, then I shouldn't be here. M-maybe it's better to just brake up then..." Her voice trailed off.
Yet what I said next is what pushed her over the edge. "You selfish brat! Why can't you just leave me to train! You don't have to make a huge deal about it!" I screamed. When I turned around, she was crying. And it broke my heart to see her that way.
I wanted to say something, but nothing came out of my mouth. "Okay then Free. If that is how you feel. Then I guess it is better if we brake up. I'll leave you and BC Sol be."

END OF FLASHBACK
After that (y/n) packed up and left back to Japan and Valt. I missed her. I took a small red box out of my pocket and opened it up. Inside was the most beautiful yellow diamond surrounded by small rubies. It was attached to a gold ring.
This was what I was going to give (y/n) for our anniversary. "I'm sorry (y/n)." I said in a small whisper. Then I took Farfnir off of my nightstand and walked outside.
I kept walking and walking until I got to a short pier near the clear, blue water. The sun was setting, just like how it was on my first date with (y/n). This was also where I wanted to propose to her.
Looking back at Fafnir I couldn't take it anymore. My hand tightened around Fafnir like I wanted to choke the spirit out. Which I did want to do. "You're the reason I lost her! If I hadn't spent so much time with you she would still be here with us with me!" I yelled at Fafnir.
Fafnir was in my hand facing me. Tears began to stream down my face. "This is all your fault! Look at where I am now! All because of you! Are you happy now Fafnir!" I was braking down ever since (y/n) left.
I looked out off the pier at the beautiful water. It was so beautiful, it reminded me of her. Her (h/l) (h/c) hair. Her (color) eyes. And most of all, her amazing personality.
Lifting up my hand Fafnir was in I drew back my arm and got ready to chuck Fafnir off the pier. Until I heard her voice.
   "Don't do it Free!"

YOUR POV
"Don't do it Free!" I yelled. I just came back from Japan to maybe talk things over with him. Then, when I saw him about to throw Fafnir away I ran over to him and caught his arm with Fafnir  holding it.
   "(y-y/n)?"
"Yes Free? I'm right here. Please don't do anything like this again. I'm sorry. Can we please talk over about what happened between us?" Free looked unto my eyes. He was on the verge of tears when he saw me. "Please put your hand down Free. Don't throw Fafnir away."
"I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry! Please take me back (y/n)." I sighed and pulled him into an embrace that felt so right. Free then kept crying, on my chest.
I blushed a bit at his actions, but let it happen. "I forgive you Free. It's fine."
"No, it's not fine! I should've paid more attention to you. Your my girlfriend and I neglected you." I couldn't get all the words because his face was still pressed against my chest.
He then pulled away. "In fact, I have something special for you."
"What is it?" I asked. Extremely interested in what he was talking about.
Free suddenly got down on one knee and took out a red-velvet box. "(y/n) (m/n) (l/n). I know I messed up greatly and I don't deserve you, but would you make me the happiest man alive and marry me?"
"I-I." He stared at me kind of getting doubtful that I would say no.
   "So what's your answer (y/n)?"
"Y-yes." I relied above a whisper. "YES! Oh my gosh! Yes! Yes! Yes!"
Free ran to me and picked me up. Then he spun me around like in those movies. When he put me down he looked straight into my eyes. "I love you." Free then passionately kissed me like he never wanted to let me go, and I didn't either.
He then pulled away. "I love you to Free."
