Isamu and Jimmu

"Hey, what's this?" Katsuki asked, picking up a small stuffed tiger he got from a large plastic box filled with Izuku's belongings.

Today was the day Izuku moved in with Katsuki. As "platonic" roommates. At least, that's what everyone else believed. They had yet to tell them about their three-year relationship. They've kept it a secret because one; they didn't want their friends pestering them about it and two; they didn't want their relationship to be all over the internet (being the number one Hero team and all). But they've let the lie drag on for far too long.

"O-oh, that's uh...Isamu..." Izuku chuckled nervously, his fingers intertwining with the curls on the back of his head.

"Isamu? As in that-stuffed-animal-you-used-to-talk-about-all-the-time-when-we-were-kids Isamu?" Katsuki asked, stifling a laugh.

"Yes, no clue how he got in there..." Izuku murmured, averting his eyes with a slight blush covering his freckled cheek.

"Oh, so you don't mind if I throw it out, right?" Katsuki smirked, walking to the trash can. Izuku's green eyes snapped onto Katsuki with alarm.

"No, wait!" Izuku rushed over, snatching Isamu back.

Katsuki burst into laughter making Izuku turn redder than a rose as he held Isamu close to his chest. He knew it was childish to keep a stuffed animal that belonged to his younger self but he couldn't help it. Isamu held most of his favorable memories of his childhood.

"Kacchan! Don't laugh!" Izuku huffed, giving the blonde a halfhearted glare.

"You had a stuffed animal too." The greenette added in his defense.

"Yeah but that thing is long gone. Besides, nerd, what are you gonna do with that? Because I'm not sleeping with that thing." Katsuki said, a teasing smirk on his lips.

"Why? Scared that I'll be cuddling him more than you late at night?" Izuku smiled. Katsuki's smirk immediately faded, a small glare set on Izuku and Isamu.

"If you end up choosing that thing over me I'm gonna blast it all the way to hell!" Katsuki snapped making Izuku giggle at his jealousy.

"Don't worry, Kacchan. I'd never replace you over Isamu." Izuku said with a teasing tone. He walked over and pecked Katsuki's cheek before approaching the bedroom.

Izuku opened the door, smiling to himself as he stared at Katsuki's room. His room was clean and neat. With light, blue-ish gray walls, dark brown dressers and nightstands, a large bed with white and dark gray sheets. It felt warm and safe to Izuku in a way he couldn't describe. He's been in this room a few times when he spent the night but now it officially belonged to him as well. It was theirs now. It made the greenette bubble with happiness.

He placed Isamu on the nightstand as he walked past it, entering Katsuki's—and Izuku's—large walk-in closet. The closet was already neatly organized, pants folded in order on the shelves and his shirts, jackets, etc, hung in particular sections of the closet. Izuku slightly smiled at the sight of the blonde neatness before beginning to make some room for his clothing. As he was moving some of Katsuki's pants, he noticed something sticking out from the top shelf. He stared at it, realizing it was a small cardboard box. Curiosity got the best of him. He grabbed a small step ladder from the laundry room before beginning his investigation.

Deku climbed up the ladder that was tall enough for him to peak over to see what sat on the top shelf. Dust covered the majority of the top shelf, while part of it held a few shoe boxes and random small objects. The small cardboard box maintained Izuku's attention. It was light brown and rectangular. The freckled boy grabbed it and carefully stepped off the ladder. He retreated from the closet and sat on the bed, setting the box on his lap. He opened it, exposing whatever waited inside.

To his surprise, it was filled with childhood belongings from their past. He picked up the first thing that caught his eye; a small picture. It was four-year-old them at the park, hugging each other. Izuku chuckled before placing the photo back inside. There was a few baby clothing that Deku assumed was Katsuki's and a few more pictures of the two boys. But, at the bottom of the box, laid something very intriguing to Izuku.

It was Katsuki's childhood stuffed monkey.

The monkey was surprisingly soft for its age, slightly dusty from being in a box for years. Izuku smiled, staring at the toy monkey that smiled back.

"Hey, Kacchan! I found an old friend of yours!" Izuku called for his boyfriend, an almost devilish grin on his lips. It was only fair to tease him about his stuffed monkey after he teased him about Isamu.

"What the hell does that even mean?" Katsuki huffed as he entered their bedroom. He froze in his tracks when he spotted the monkey in his boyfriend's hands.

"I thought you said it was long gone?" Izuku asked mockingly.

"I thought it was, where did you even find him anyway?"

"Oh, I found Jimmu in a cardboard box on the top shelf of your closet. Look, it even has some of your baby clothes in here." Izuku giggled, showing him one of his small blue PJs.

"Don't call him Jimmu, he's just a thing now." Katsuki scoffed, snatching the PJs from Izuku with the small monkey, and tossed it back inside the box.

"If he was just a thing now, why do you still say 'he' or 'him' when you talk about him?" Izuku questioned, watching the blonde roughly close the cardboard box.

"I said it," Katsuki grumbled, setting the box on the dresser next to Isamu.

"Sure, Kacchan." Izuku laughed. Katsuki only rolled his eyes. Suddenly, Izuku lit up, an idea popping in his head.

"What if we make a time capsule?" The greenette suggested, excitement sparkling in his forest-green eyes. Katsuki raised a brow at him.

"A time capsule?" He muttered.

"Yeah! We can keep what's inside the box along with a few other things now and bury it somewhere! Maybe when we're old and wrinkly, we can look for it again and open it!" Midoriya explained. Katsuki paused for a moment, thinking it through. Eventually, he spoke.

"Fine, but we got to put Isamu inside too." He stated.

"Okay," Izuku said, happily agreeing. Katsuki couldn't help but smile at the sight of his joyous lover. He chuckled before walking over and kissing his forehead, wrapping his arms around his waist. Izuku let out a light laugh, laying his hands on Katsuki's shoulders.

"We can bury it tomorrow, nerd. For now, we need to get you settled in." Bakugou murmured, planting sweet gentle kisses all over Izuku's freckled face.

"Okay," Deku said, slightly muffled as Katsuki pecked his lips.

"C'mon, loser, we don't have all day," Bakugou said softly before pulling away from Izuku's warmth.

He left the room, Izuku excitedly following after him.
