My Special

Izuku smiled brightly, the gentle warmth of the sun splashing on his freckled face as he closed his eyes while facing the sunset before him. He leaned on the white wooden fence along the back patio edges, the wind ruffling through his green hair. It was peaceful. The sound of the wind whistling past his ears, the smell of the ocean not too far away. He was so relaxed that he almost forgot where he was. Or who he was with. He slightly jumped when he felt two hands gently grip his hips. Instead of making his surprise noticeable, he leaned back into his boyfriend, laying the back of his head against his shoulder, the island like scent around him mixed with the smell of his boyfriend. At that moment, he realized taking a trip to Hawaii with their friends was a great idea, not only did he get to share a cabin near the ocean with Katsuki but he got to enjoy the view with him too.

"Want to go inside now, nerd?" The blonde behind him asked quietly in his ear, slightly tilting his head to kiss Izuku's jawline, his thumb rubbing the side of his hip. Izuku couldn't help but hum contently, he'd been his happiest self these past few years with Katsuki as his lover and hero partner.

"Yeah...Can we make it movie night?" Midoriya questioned, sliding his hand against Kacchan's muscular forearm after he moved his hand from his hip and into his shirt against his stomach.

"Sure," Katsuki muttered, sounding muffled as he gave Izuku one last peck on the cheek while speaking. Izuku smiled widely and followed his partner inside, closing the sliding doors behind him.

They passed the dining room and living room before reaching the kitchen. Katsuki worked on the popcorn while Izuku poured the wine into glass cups filled with ice. While they waited for the popcorn, they discussed what movie to watch, the sweet smell of their snack filling the air.

"Can we watch Her and Him?" Izuku asked, holding his cup of wine in his hands while leaning against the counter. Katsuki stood near the counter in front of him while sipping his wine before looking at his lover with an eyebrow raised.

"Isn't that the one cheesy romance movie we watched last month?" He questioned. Izuku nodded.

"That one was annoying, it's weird that the girl kept calling him her yellow." Katsuki scoffed. Izuku couldn't help but chuckle.

"That's what people do these days, call the people that make them happy their yellow." Deku briefly explained.

"It's weird, it doesn't make sense," Katsuki grumbled.

"Are you jealous that I don't call you my yellow?"

"As if, no reason to be jealous cause I know I make you happy, dork." Katsuki said confidently, Izuku notice the small smile that tugged his lips.

"Mhm...Okay, what if we make up our own thing?" Izuku suggested. Katsuki rolled his eyes.

"What for?"

"Just so we have something less annoying than yellow. I'll think of something..." Izuku said, looking at the floor thoughtfully.

"C'mon, Deku. We don't need anything like that." Katsuki said softly before placing his cup to the side. He closer to Izuku, one hand on finding his waist while the other on his chin to move his head upwards to get him to look at him.

"Distracting me with your good looks isn't gonna make me drop this, Kacchan," Izuku murmured, staring up into Kacchan's beautiful ruby eyes.

"Besides, I want to have something. Maybe something we can say here and there to remind each other how special we are to one another." He pressed on.

"That's so fucking-"

"That's it!" Izuku suddenly lit up, smiling brightly. Katsuki looked at him with a confused yet skeptical expression, waiting for Izuku to explain.

"Special! You're my special, Kacchan." Izuku said brightly, setting his glass of wine on the counter before trailing his hands up Katsuki's arms, pausing when they reached his shoulders.

"Tch, that sounds as stupid as yellow," Katsuki grumbled, grabbing Izuku's waist with both hands to pull him closer.

"It's not that bad. I'm gonna say it all the time!" Midoriya grinned happily. He seemed proud of his nickname that Katsuki couldn't say no. Bakugou rolled his eyes with false annoyance, failing to hold back his smile.

"Weirdo...I guess you're my special too then, you dork." Katsuki mumbled before kissing his cheek and down to the side of his jaw before peppering some kisses on his neck. Izuku chuckled a bit, his chest bubbling with joy and love as he held Katsuki closer.

"And that's why your dads call each other their special." Uraraka said, looking at the child that sat on the couch in front of her, still kneeling against the carpeted floor underneath her.

Uraraka adored Deku and Katsuki's kid as if she were her own child. The child had light brown skin and beautiful dark brown eyes. Her curls were natural and wild. And she had the innocence of any six-year-old girl. Uraraka's friends had adopted Aoi when she was only a few months old. Over the past six years, Aoi had been the highlight of their lives. Uraraka never seen the men happier and that made her happy. Even more so when she had one on one time with her godchild.

"Really?" Aoi asked, her eyes wide in awe.

"Mhm. And they love you so very much. You know what that makes you?" Ochako murmured, running her hand over Aoi's messy hair.

"What?"

"Their special." Uraraka said, pausing at Aoi's gasp. The female hero chuckled before continuing.

"Because you are very special to them, you know that right?" Uraraka smiled as she watched Aoi head nod vigorously.

"One day I'll make them proud when I'm a hero too!" Aoi said, a spark of determination in her eyes. Ochako stared at her for a few seconds to take in the kid's smile, her heart could burst from how cute she was. How sweet and innocent a child could and should be.

"Oh, Aoi. They're already proud of you. And they always will be." Ochako said softly.

"Just like you'll always be their special." Uraraka added.
