They got anxious. Kazuha grabbed Heizou's wrist and began to run. Kazuha climbed the vines on the walls and yelled, "Heizou! Grab my hand!"
Heizou grabbed Kazuha's hand and they proceeded to climb up to another platform. The cave began to collapse even more.

Kazuha and Heizou ran and ran, with sweat and panic emerging with every step. Suddenly, the platform broke into two, separating Kazuha and Heizou. They both called eachother's names in fear.

Kazuha proceeded to jump towards Heizou and grabbed his hand, helping him get up. Suddenly, a piece of stone fell from the ceiling of the cave, hitting Heizou, causing his leg to bleed. Kazuha couldn't pull him to safety in time. Kazuha then carried Heizou and leaped near the passageway. However, a stalactite fell on the opening, blocking their only way out.

Kazuha stood confused and ran across the domain, trying to find an exit. However, the cave collapsed. Kazuha and Heizou were trapped under rubble and dust. They tried their best to move but to no avail.

Kazuha fell into oblivion. His vision became blurry and soon, he fell into the darkness.

Kazuha regained his vision as he awoke back at Narukami Island. He saw a tree that seemed out of place. Kazuha's head began to ache severely. As Kazuha cried in pain, the environment surrounding him began to distort into static. Kazuha's headache became so painful that he fainted.

...

Kazuha then woke up once more in the same distortion world. However, his headache had subsided. Kazuha explored the area and came across two distorted figures of Heizou and his friend. The figures spoke, "Kazuha... You're a traitor. All you've done is cause me nothing but pain and trouble. Moreover, in my dying breath, you did nothing to save me."

Kazuha's eyes widened as he spoke in denial, "I-I've tried to save you I just-" The figures then spoke once more, "You're weak! You're pathetic! Not only are you a failure to your clan, you are also a failure to your dearest companions. We died because you didn't come and save us!"

Kazuha began tearing up, thinking that what they said were true. Suddenly, the figures exploded, scattering blood everywhere. The figures then transformed into a screen, displaying Heizou and his friend's demise. The scene kept playing on his head until he couldn't take it anymore.

Kazuha awoke from this 'nightmare' besides Heizou. They were in a completely new cave. Heizou looked at him, saying, "Kazu-kun.... Are you alright?" Kazuha looked at Heizou, thinking that this was all fake. Kazuha then slapped himself to test if this was reality. The slap hurt him. Heizou grabbed Kazuha's hand and yelled, "What were you doing!?! Why did you slap yourself?!?" Kazuha responded with silence, wearing a sorrowful frown.

He looked at Heizou and saw a huge cut on his leg, with his blood dripping on the floor. Moreover, he saw Heizou's skin being bruised up and being scratched. Kazuha stood up and punched the wall in anger. He was not angry at Heizou, but was angry at himself.

Heizou yelled, "KAZUHA!!! STOP HURTING YOURSELF!!!" Tears began to flow from Kazuha's face, as though the tears were a river flowing in its upper course. Kazuha cried, "I-It's all my fault." Kazuha sniffed and began punching the wall repetitively, yelling, "IT'S ALL MY FAULT!!!" After every punch.

Soon, his hands began to bleed from punching the wall. Tears did not stop flowing from Kazuha's eyes. Heizou grabbed his arms and tried to stop him from hurting himself.

"KAZUHA! PLEASE STOP!" Heizou yelled. Kazuha replied, "I-I hurt you... I couldn't save yo-" Heizou cut him off by responding with, "Shh... I'm fine... You did not hurt me in any way." Kazuha had yelled while crying so many times that his vocal cords began to tremble. His voice cracked alot and he sounded like he was in pain.

Heizou held Kazuha and gave him a warm embrace. Kazuha let all his tears out. Heizou then pulled himself back, wiping the tears off Kazuha's eyes. "H-Hey.... It's okay..." Heizou said, trying to comfort him. Kazuha cried out, "I-I couldn't save you... like I couldn't save h-him."

Tears fell from Kazuha's eyes once more. Heizou comforted him the best he could.

"Kazuha... It's okay.... please don't hurt yourself anymore..."

"B-But I-"

"I'm fine, really. This is nothing compared to what I've been through."

"H-Heizou..."

Kazuha shed even more tears, feeling guilty of hurting his closest friends. Heizou looked at Kazuha in sorrow, feeling sympathetic towards him. Heizou held Kazuha's hands. Although it was covered in blood, it didn't matter to him.

"You don't have to hold your guilt for any longer..."

Kazuha began tearing up even more. Heizou looked at his eyes and held his face. "Heizou... please... don't ever leave me..." Kazuha whisphered. Heizou looked at him saying, "I won't... I promise..." Kazuha then leaned on Heizou's shoulder and began letting it all out. Heizou leaned back and held Kazuha's face once more.

Heizou then put his lips on Kazuha's, kissing him passionately. Kazuha was surprised, but accepted his kiss. A tear fell from Kazuha's eyes. As they shared a passionate kiss, they began to get even closer. They then proceeded to connect their tounges.

They moved backwards, ending the kiss abruptly, looking at eachother. As their gaze interlocked, Heizou whisphered, "Kazuha... I..." He sighed, letting the truth out, "I... love you...." Heizou then continued, "It has always been you..."
