Kazuha yelled back, "Heizou please! Don't do this to me!" Heizou couldn't handle his stress and yelled. "WHAT DO YOU CARE?!?" Kazuha immediately frowned, "Heizou please! What happened?!? Was it... my... fault?-"

Heizou began to realize the impact of his words on Kazuha but did not falter.

"I'M JUST HIS REPLACEMENT TO YOU, AREN'T I?!?"

Heizou paused.

"Kazuha.... Am I just... his replacement to you?"

Both of them gulped. Kazuha looked at him and said, "No... of course not..." Heizou looked at him, doubting him.

H: "But you... seemed to like your
friend..."

K: "Heizou... he was just my best
friend...."

Heizou yelled back in confusion, his tears began to drip all over his face.

"HOW CAN I KNOW YOU'RE NOT LYING?!? EVERYTHING YOU TOLD ME LITERALLY TELLS ME THAT YOU'RE JUST USING ME JUST TO COPE!!!"

Kazuha's eyes widened, and began to tear up abit. Heizou continued ranting,

"YOU DON'T LOVE ME! YOU NEVER DID! ALL YOU WANTED WAS THE SENSATION OF YOUR BEST FRIEND BEING ALIVE AND LOVING YOU!"

An awkward and ominous silence fell upon them. Heizou's eyes widened, realizing what he just said. "I- I'm sorry...."

Kazuha stood silent as one tear fell from his eye. He stood silent and unresponsive, as if his entire life shattered infront of him.

Kazuha fell to the floor. Heizou kneeled down and apologized while panicking. Kazuha shed some tears. His face was already in contact with the ground, and his tears came in contact with the floor too.

Kazuha finally spoke:

"Heizou.... You're the only one I ever loved...."

Heizou's eyes widened, beginning to tear up even more. Kazuha continued:

"Please... don't leave me like this ever again.... Don't run away...."

Heizou looked around in sorrow, not being able to control his tears. Heizou then saw the huge cut on Kazuha's hand.

"Kazuha... Your arm...." Heizou whisphered in horror.

He saw the blood dripping from Kazuha's arm. Kazuha ignored Heizou's response to the cut and continued.

"You were never a replacement."

The voices had left Heizou completely. Heizou held him up and examined at his arm and thought, ("Kazuha went through all that pain just for me.") "I did this... this was my fault...." Heizou said, regretting his life choices. Rain then began to pour down on their bodies.

Kazuha could feel his energy slowly fading away due to the excessive running. Kazuha looked at Heizou's worried face. Heizou began to cry even more.

Kazuha could feel the cold raindrops fall on his face. However, amongst the rain, he could feel a warm liquid falling on his face aswell. It was Heizou's tears.

Kazuha whisphered with the little energy he had remaining, "Heizou.... Please don't cry...." Heizou tried wiping the blood off of Kazuha's arm with his shirt. Heizou proceeded to cry in panic even more.

Kazuha slowly regained his energy and woke up slowly after some minutes. Heizou had been sheltering his body for the rain. Kazuha repeated:

"Heizou... You're not a replacement.... I fell for you the moment I saw you... I-"

Kazuha was cut off by Heizou. Heizou had pressed his lips on his. "I know..." Heizou said after realizing his mistake.

They shared a kiss below the starry sky. They were passionate. Soon, their tongues became interlocked. They could taste eachother, even if some raindrops got inside their mouth.

Heizou suddenly pinned Kazuha to the floor, sheltering him from the rain. "Promise me... That you'll always be by my side..." Heizou said. Kazuha accepted his promise. Heizou then put his mouth close to Kazuha's neck.

Kazuha felt Heizou's warm breath neutralizing the cold temperature caused by the rain. Suddenly, Heizou requested, "C-Can I claim you as mine?" Kazuha replied, "Y-Yes..."

Suddenly, Heizou proceeded to bite Kazuha's neck. Kazuha moaned in slight pain. Heizou sucked Kazuha's skin, he tried to be as gentle as he could. Heizou then retracted his mouth after a moment, looking at the hickey he gave Kazuha.

Heizou then said, "I created a mark on you, to prove that you're taken by me."

Kazuha then moved his head up and kissed Heizou once more. The rain began to stop.

"I love you..."

"I love you too..."

After a while, they stood up and began to walk back to Heizou's house. Heizou asked, "Does this mean that we're official?" Kazuha chuckled, "Indeed. I suppose we are..." Heizou jumped up in happiness. "Yes! I did it! Ah~ I'm in a relationship with my crush!"

Kazuha asked in shock, "I was your crush?!?" They then chattered on their way back. Heizou said, "Kazuha, you can rest in my house today aswell." Kazuha happily agreed.

They walked in and proceeded to change out of their wet clothes and showered together, scrubbing eachother's backs. They got bolder and were comfortable with eachother.

After they were done, Heizou gave Kazuha a black shirt and some shorts. They both went to change together. Kazuha then bandaged his cut and Heizou helped him. However, some moments later, Heizou began sneezing. He caught a cold.

Kazuha sighed, "That's what you get for staying in the rain." Kazuha then tucked Heizou to bed and put a wet towel on his head. He then made soup for Heizou. Heizou thanked Kazuha.

Kazuha hopped on Heizou's bed and said, "I'll be with you for the whole night." Kazuha nursed Heizou. Moments later, Heizou began to groan in pain, "K-Kazuha.... My head hurts...." Kazuha gave him some medicine which began to soothe the headache.

Heizou then began to feel very cold. He shivered tremendously as though he had reached the top of Dragonspine. Kazuha saw this and panicked. Kazuha then covered Heizou with a thin blanket over his already thick blanket, forgetting what to do.

Moments later, Heizou had fallen asleep.
Kazuha leaned beside him, maintaining some distance and slowly... drifted to sleep.
