After they washed up, they headed to the kitchen of the 'Shikanoin Residence'. Heizou had made his speciality, 'The Only Truth'. On the tender, moist scrambled eggs lied a juicy katsu fried to golden perfection, its aroma was most enticing.

On top of that, Heizou made some Fish Skewers as he knew Kazuha liked eating fish. Kazuha's eyes glowed in amazement. Kazuha thanked Heizou sincerely and said that he'd repay the favor by cooking for him next time to which Heizou replied, "I'll be looking forward to it then!"

Hardly had Kazuha taken a bite when he fell in love with the taste. Kazuha could not contain himself and proceeded to eat everything in one go. Heizou smiled with his hand on his head, getting flattered.

Kazuha complimented Heizou's cooking to which he proudly laughed, "Well... I am an amazing chef~✨️." After they had eaten the food, Kazuha then inquired, "Shall we head out?" Heizou replied, "We have enough time... let's go around 16:00." Kazuha agreed to what Heizou said and sat back down.

Heizou and Kazuha awkwardly sat at the table. "So... what should we do...?" "Hmm..." Heizou then decided to joke around, "Do you wanna see the corpses in my basement?" Kazuha stood shocked, "You're joking right?" Heizou burst out laughing, wiping a tear off his eyelid. Kazuha then suggested writing a story to which Heizou got excited about after agreeing. He then took him to his study.

"Well... this is my study.... How is it?" Heizou asked. Kazuha replied, with amazement in his voice. "It's amazing! It's filled with books that contain many interesting contents. So... what do we write about?" Heizou replied, "Well... I've never written any stories in the past...." Kazuha stood up and said, "There's a first time for everything."

Heizou asked, "What should we write about?" Kazuha smiled, replying by reccomending writing a murder mystery due to Heizou's detective occupation and his Intuition. He'd be the Protagonist while Kazuha could be a deuteragonist.

Several hours of writing later...

"There we go! We're done with 4 chapters." Kazuha exclaimed. Heizou sighed, when suddenly, an idea lit up in his mind. "Kazoo... we should add a part that says, 'The samurai saves the weak and defenseless detective with his strength and vigilance. The samurai grabs the detective and holds him tight. The detective looked up to the samurai and thought that the samurai was really dreamy'~"

Kazuha became flustered but retaliated. "Well the detective did save everyone from dying by catching the murderer. In addition, I think the samurai wants to give him a kiss for-" Kazuha then stood silent, realizing that he had a slip of tounge. Heizou blushed and said, "Retailiating now are we? Well I bet the detective wouldn't mind a kiss from the 'adorable' samurai~" Kazuha became flustered to the point he almost fell to the floor.

Heizou laughed yelling, "I'm just kidding!" Repetitively. Soon after, Kazuha asked about the domain where Heizou gave him the information and Intel about it.

"The domain has a labyrinth and some puzzles in it, in simple words. Moreover, you'll have to fight some sort of 'boss' there. That is one of the reasons I asked you." Kazuha then suggested, "If we have to fight, we should prepare first." Heizou agreed and suggested they spar with eachother. The exited the room when suddenly, Heizou grabbed Kazuha's hand while running towards to yard.

Kazuha blushed and asked him what he was doing. Heizou just calmly replied, "I like to hold people's hands. Is it a concern?" Kazuha stood silent. Heizou stared at Kazuha and suddenly stopped moving. "Oh? So you like it?~" Kazuha got flustered once again and stuttered. Heizou laughed at his attempt of retaliation that ended at him faltering badly. Kazuha said, "P-Please let my hand go-" to which Heizou listened to.

They had arrived on Heizou's lawn and got ready. However, Heizou yelled from the other side, "I am but a Catalyst user and you're a sword wielder! Wouldn't it be unfair?" Kazuha thoughtfully agreed and offered to teach him the sword arts. Heizou accepted his offer and they began training. Kazuha lent Heizou his Fillet Blade and they began training.

Kazuha went behind Heizou and grabbed his arms from the back. Kazuha then instructed him on how to wield and use the blade.

K: "Okay... so you hold it like this."
H: "Like this?"
K: "No- that's the wrong side.... It's like this"
H: "I see..."

After four hours of vigorous training, they were ready for the duel. Heizou fell to the floor, clearly tired. Kazuha sighed with a proud smile. They had taken a rest for a while and readied up for the sparring match. "Kazuha, it's 12:00. Let's do this!" They stretched and began positioning up...
