A day after the date, Heizou received a letter from Keqing.

Subject: Letter reporting the progress of
the proposal ring.

Respected Shikanoin,

In this day, I'm here to report the progress of your proposal ring for Mr.Kaedehara. Not only have I gotten in touch with the person who will make your ring for you, but I have also requested him to make the ring contain both Almandine Garnet and Moonstone, all over a ring made of the finest gold.
The ring is almost finished as I had requested the creation of it.

The reason I've sent this letter to you is mainly for three reasons. One; to report the progress of the ring to you, Two; to request you to pick up the ring at 16:00, and Three; to request you to meet up with The Kaiyang, Tianlin, at the mall.

With that, I wish you the best of luck in your engagement and marriage and hope you will invite us; Tianlin, Ningguang and myself, during the engagement.

After reading the letter, Heizou sighed and whisphered, "Lady Keqing... You did not need to go through this much trouble for my engagement."

After that, Heizou decided to go shopping for the engagement venue and meet Tianlin.

"Kazoo! I'm heading out! Do you need anything!"

Heizou yelled, from the door.

"Nope! I just need a kiss when you come back!"

Kazuha yelled in reply.

Heizou blushed.

Heizou then went to the rendezvous point of him and Tianlin.

They then crossed paths once more.

"Hello Heizou!"
"Oh, Hey there Tianlin!"

They then chatted for a while before Heizou began asking him for advice.

"Hey, what should I get to make this engagement special?"

"Hm.... Why don't you do it at night? Then we could decorate the place with colorful lights. We could even make a fancy and cute area decorated in white.
Oh! I forgot to tell you! Some girl named Yoimiya imported fireworks to you as a gift. We could use that during the engagement."

"And after the engagement... Your friends could leave the two of you alone for some private time alone. You could look at the ocean from the pier and could maybe even have engagement s-"

"Tianlin. No. We're not doing whatever you're abot to suggest. He's too innocent."

"What do you mean? I meant engagement s-"

"No!"

"I meant engagement song!"

They then proceeded to shop for several things for the engagement such as lights, decorations, etc. They then made their way to the person making the ring.

Heizou showed the stamp to the person.
"Ah! You must be Mr. Shikanoin! And Is that the Kaiyang beside you? It is an honor! Anyways, here's your ring!I wish you the best in your engagement."

The ring looked exactly as Heizou imagined. Heizou then thanked the person and paid him a huge amount of mora. They then proceeded to walk back home.

As they walked back to Heizou's inn, Heizou began to sing a cheerful tune.

"Hm-hm-hmm~🎶 I'm gonna put a ring in my boyfriend's fin-ger~🎶"

However, dark clouds began circling over Heizou under the sunset.

Suddenly, smoke engulfed the entire scenario, making Heizou and Tianlin unable to see anything.

The ring had been stolen.

As the smoke cleared, the distress between the two began to grow. They both became frustrated and Heizou was on the verge of shedding tears.

"It's okay, we'll get them." Said Tianlin, trying to comfort a devastated Heizou.

Suddenly, Tianlin drew out his blade and created a field of dendro, which revealed the footprints of the culprit.

The two of them then rushed towards the thief, following the footprints.

They then arrived at the outskirts of the city and found Fatui personnel surrounding the area, with the ring with a mirror Maiden.

"Let's go, Heizou."
"Yeah!"

Rage was filled in Heizou's head as he thought, "(Just wait my cutie! I'll get you the ring! If I can't get it, I'll die trying!)"

Soon, Tianlin struck the ground with his blade, creating Dendro Infused vines that restrained the Fatui. Heizou then proceeded to launch a powerful anemo-infused punch which, due to his rage, caused everyone to fly and hit the walls of the alleyway, and break through it.

Tianlin then dashed towards them in a speed similar to that of sound and then proceeded to restrain them and take them to the millileth.

They then retrieved the ring and went to the venue and began setting it up.

As Heizou looked at the beauty of the venue, he had a thought of anxiety.

"My dear Kazuha, I went through all this trouble for you. Please... say yes.... All I want in my life is you. I'd die for you, and that's a vow. I love you so much! I'm so nervous, but I love you so much I can't chicken out now. "
