Under the sky where the clouds are painted in ever-changing colors as the sun sets, a wandering samurai reaches near the docks of Ritou in Inazuma. As the wandering samurai walked towards the docks, he realized that his boat had not arrived.

He walks towards a shop remembering that The Crux would come pick him up the day after tomorrow when suddenly... he heard a familiar voice saying, "Kazuha!!" However, he couldn't identify whose voice it was and where it came from. He scratched his head and continued walking and heard the same voice calling his name again.

"Kaedehara Kazuha!!" He was confused and proceeded to walk when suddenly, A young man ran in front of him. The man's eyes were elegant and green and had a unique maroon-colored hair.

As the young man panted, catching his breath, the samurai, Kazuha, smiled and called out his name. "Detective Shikanoin!"

As Heizou, the detective was , Kazuha eagerly waited for what he wanted to say. Heizou stopped and asked:

"Hey! Mr.Kaedehara! How have you been?"

Kazuha replied:

"I've been good. How about you?"

H: "I've been well, even after I desired to arrest you."
K: *laughter* "That's great. What did you want?"
H: "I've found some cases related to... just kidding. Would you mind exploring a domain with me?"
K: "I was heading to Liyue..."

Heizou held his hands together and begged with his 'puppy dog eyes'. "Pwease? Pwease?" Kazuha sighed, knowing he could not escape Heizou's act and agreed to which Heizou jumped in happiness.

Kazuha suggested, "Shall we head out now?" To which Heizou replied, "Let's head out tomorrow. You must be tired... of being too charming" Kazuha stood flustered when he realized he left his sword at the Amenoma Smithy.

He told Heizou about the sword to which he allowed him to retrieve. Heizou asked Kazuha to meet up at the Police Station as their rendezvous point, to which he agreed.

As Kazuha made his way to Inazuma City, he let out a sigh, getting slightly excited. He then arrived at the Amenoma Smithy, where he collected his second sword, 'Kagotsurube Isshin'.
Kazuha then moved towards the police station realizing Heizou was not there.

He waited patiently as the sun set, causing the sky to become a beautiful gradient of purple to midnight blue. Suddenly, he heard the familiar voice again. "Kazuha!" He let out a smile and ran towards him. "Detective Shikanoin! You've finally arrived!"

Heizou chuckled hearing the enthusiasm Kazuha had. "Missed me that bad?~" Heizou teased. Kazuha ignored his antics and asked, "Shall we leave?" Heizou wore a worried look.

The sun had already set and the night sky was a sophisticated and dark obsidian sky engraved with many constellations filled stars. Heizou asked Kazuha to sit down on the floor and gaze at the stars with him.

"Hey... is it okay if we leave tomorrow? You must be really tired... I'll take you to my place, okay?" Heizou insisted. Kazuha wanted to refuse out of respect and wanting to be 'polite'. However, Heizou already knew this was coming. So he gave his signature 'puppy dog eyes' which led to Kazuha reluctantly agreeing.

However, as soon as they reached the entrance to the Police Station, Kazuha tripped and almost fell. Luckily, The quick responding detective caught him in the nick of time and proceeded to hold him in the position of the 'Princess Carry'.

Kazuha blushed and stuttered, "D-Detective Shi-Shikanoin-" Heizou was calm and asked, "Are you okay?" Kazuha blushed even harder and said, "Detecti-" but was abruptly cut off by Heizou. "Shh... be careful.... You must be very tired... I'll let you piggyback ride me to my place okay?"

Kazuha declined, flustered by his words. Heizou insisted, "Aww~ come on~ Don't push yourself~" Before carrying him forcefully. Kazuha did not jump off but instead he layed his head against Heizou's gentle shoulders and drifted to sleep, breathing with a soft sound. Heizou blushed and smiled, all while carrying him to his house.

When they had almost reached Heizou's house, Heizou whisphered, "Hey sleepyhead~ Get up~ *giggle*" Kazuha groaned softly before waking up.
Heizou giggled even more. "Aww~ Sleepyhead sounds so cute~" Kazuha got tired of his flirting and replied in his bed-voice, "W-Well... I'm not the handsome and strong Detective Shikanoin that can carry a Lone samurai."

Heizou laughed, "Haha.... Turning tables now, eh Kaedehara?" Kazuha let out a small giggle and said, "You can cut the formalities and just call me Kazuha." Heizou smirked evilly and said, "Well then... you can call me just 'Heizou', Kazu-kun~" Kazuha sighed and called him by a nickname aswell. "Alright...."

They had arrived at Heizou's place. Heizou let Kazuha down and told him that they had arrived. Kazuha rubbed his eyes due to being half-asleep. Heizou grabbed Kazuha's hand and gave him a detailed tour of his house.
