The first couple of days being free involved getting settled back in the dorm getting used to the quiet without behemoth. Trying to get used to having absolutely nothing to do since I've been banned from the school, and trying to decide what I need to take to Gehenna. Yep that's right I'm moving to Gehenna, sounds totally exciting right? Well in my case it really is I think today is the perfect day to really let Amaimon know I love him like actually love him not just for show though I think he knows anyway. We still have almost a week before we really have to go to Gehenna so I might as well tell him before we go.
I planned to do something fun but I've just decided to tell him well we are chilling at home that way he won't think I care too much. We're just sitting on the couch watching some anime Mephisto told us about, it's not the greatest in my opinion. Well here goes nothing I suppose.
"Hey Amaimon. I have something important to tell you."
"What?" He mumbled around the chips he's eating.
"I've been thinking and I mean I'm pretty sure you know this anyway buuuuuuut I'm pretty sure I'm in love with you." I smile at him waiting to see his reaction.
He stares at me blankly, "you do?"
I nod.
"Hm I'm rather fond of you as well," he smiles a little bit. I decide to do something I've never done before I lean over and kiss him, just a small little kiss but enough to show him I mean it. He looks at me startled a blush crept onto his face making me giggle. I did it I got to see him flustered yes!!!!
"What was that for....?" He mumbles trying to avoid my teasing gaze.
"You really are oblivious sometimes!" I laugh. "It's because I love you."
"Does that mean you're mine?" He tilts his head.
"Sure if you know...you want me to be." I actually feel kinda shy now.
"You've been mine anyway at least in my opinion," he pulls me closer to him. "You aren't boring and your nice to me."
I smile resting my head against him, "well ya know I'm not exactly normal so."
"You will be my queen won't you?"
"Well duh not like I have a choice anyway."
"It wasn't an act was it?" He asks nuzzling my neck.
"Well maybe some of it was..." I giggle.
"My brother knows I'm fond of you that's why he always teases me."
"Oooooh that's why you don't like when he visits or we visit him. And you admit you like me which explains why you hated Shadou." I taunt him for fun.
"You made him so mad when you picked me," Amaimon snickers.
"I didn't even know I did it just feels right being with you," I sigh happily.
"You do know you'll have to become a full demon to stay with me right?" He raises an eyebrow.
"I don't care what I have to do Amaimon. I'm being sent to Gehenna anyway so that'll be even better plus it's what they wanted."
"We'll have to talk to Mephisto soon."
"How about we go tomorrow?" I suggest, I really just want to relax here with him.
"That's fine with me," he smiles and starts to play with my hair. "I guess I should tell you Iblis told me you loved me when we were home."
"Oh he did, did he. I never even told him! curse him for knowing me so well," I smirk. "Good thing you mustn't have believed him."
"I wanted to but I had my doubts," Amaimon shrugs.
"Bet you don't doubt it now," I giggle.
"Not at all," he pulls out candy and offers me a piece I accept it happily. "You have to keep buying me sweets you know."
"Why wouldn't I?"
"I still don't even understand why you wanted to talk to me in the first place," he admits honestly. "I haven't figured you out even now you still don't make sense."
"Get used to it you're stuck with me and as for why I spoke to you I thought you were odd I like odd plus there was the bonus that you're pretty cute."
"I've never been called that until I met you, I've never even met anyone similar to you."
"Well I'm glad you hadn't I might not have gotten to marry you then."
"I suppose that's true," he chuckles.
"So think Mephisto will be surprised?" I giggle.
"Not in the slightest not any of my other family either since they think we're married anyway.
Suddenly there was a knock at the door, Amaimon mutters. I sigh going to answer I expect Mephisto cause well, no one else really stops by now. I'm surprised to find Rin waiting outside he looks lost.
"Uuuuh hey Rin....." I try to put on a happy smile.
"Hi y/n..." He smiles a bit. Amaimon gets up and comes over hearing his voice, he puts his arms around me protectively, I have to try really hard not to giggle.
"So uh what did you come over for?"
He glares at Amaimon, "I came to talk to you, I-I didn't mean to be such a jerk to you it's not your fault it's his."
"Rin you don't get it do you?" I groan.
He frowns, "what's there to get? Mephisto probably helped Amaimon kidnap you or something and made that dumb lie he told us I don't care if you were there or not Amaimon probably threatened to eat you or something if you spoke out against them."
Amaimon shakes his head trying to stay calm, I'm proud of him for trying I really am, "I wouldn't do that to y/n."
Rin just ignores him, "Y/n please let me help you! I can try to.... You can't go to Gehenna! you just can't."
"Rin I'm going to be a full demon, Amaimon didn't do anything to me seriously. I love him Rin...." I sigh. "This is probably the happiest I've been."
He stares at me, both hurt and anger fill his blue eyes, "I thought I could be your friend y/n, I wanted to be. I liked you but I guess you don't care do you...?"
"Ugh Rin I care but I love him I would've died for him in fact I almost did so I'm sorry but when it comes down to it he's my priority I don't want to lose him and I get to see Iblis more. you don't understand Rin I lost him we were close and he was taken from me."
"I lost the old man because of Satan and you want to go live in his realm. you want to turn your back on being an exorcist I thought it's what you wanted but...I guess Yukio was right about you."
"I'm sorry Rin I like demons."
"Whatever goodbye y/n..." He turns his back and leaves without another word I shut the door not even bothering to call after him. Amaimon lets me go and stares at me, he looks like he's seeing me for the first time.
"What are you staring at?" I laugh.
"You almost died for me...." he frowns. "You would give up everything to stay with me?"
"Yeah of course Amaimon when I said I loved you I mean I'd do about anything for you."
"Hmm...." He mumbles.
"Anyway we still have an anime to finish so I'm gonna make some snacks and then I'm claiming you for another season," I grin skipping to the small kitchen.
"Fine," he smirks going to sit.
