The first thing I realize when I'm able to finally open my eyes is the pain! My whole body feels like I've been smashed between cement walls and set on fire! It hurts even worse when I move like someone stabbing me all over! I don't even think about getting out of bed which speaking of beds I don't even know where I've been sleeping... I slowly turn my head clenching my jaw from the pain and realize I'm in Satan's house but I don't recognize this room. I could be in Amaimon's room I've never been in it before and told I him I wanted to see it so I guess I could be there. I'm gonna yell at Mephisto for this just because he didn't warn me how much pain I'd be in, I was thinking like a bee sting or sunburn amount of pain. I wonder where everyone is....
"How dare you do this to me!"
I jump and groan in pain as I hear Mephisto scream, what's going on...?
I can see out the door as Egyn and Beezlebub are running down the hall as fast as they can, Mephisto is following them dripping wet and purple? If I wasn't in this much pain I'd burst out laughing, I've never seen him so mad. I can hear Satan laughing from somewhere, I want to get up and go join in the fun but I'm just so sore, maybe I should just stay in bed... Yet even as the thought crossing my mind I let my feet slowly and I mean slowly find the floor. My first attempt at standing fails quite horrible I must admit I fall right back into the bed causing lightning bolts to shoot through me, I have to clench my teeth to stop a scream from escaping. I refuse to give up, I try again this time I have more luck and mange to grab onto the edge of a dresser. I steady myself and breath trying to plan out my every step, mainly to make myself believe it's a short distance. I sigh to myself and start my trek to the door, who knew a few steps could be so agonizing. Thankfully I find my body getting used to the pain the more movements I make, it even dulls a little bit as I step into the hall. I have to decide if I want to go to the stairs or just try to wander around a little to get used to moving again and not letting this get the better of me. I see Mephisto trudging towards me still dripping whatever purple goop is covering him. He stops dead when he sees me, "Y/n! You're awake!"
I smile at him weakly, even though the pain is easing is still exhausting trying to walk so much so soon after just waking up.
"How are you walking you have to be hurting darling...." He frowns.
"Mephisto what happened to you....?" I mumble.
I might regret asking when his eyes set ablaze in anger, "I've become the target of a rather childish prank."
"You should get cleaned up," I sigh. "I'll have to help you get them back."
"After you rest darling let me help you back to bed," he smiles.
"You are not helping me while you're dripping goo, no offense." I giggle a little bit.
He sighs, "I suppose that is true wait here while I change into something less grotesque."
"Okay," I nod. He walks quickly down the hall into his room a few minutes later he reappears wearing one of his odd kimono robes, it's definitely an improvement from the purple goo stained suit. He walks up to me and frowns slightly before gently placing an arm around my waist to support me.
"I'd prefer you lean on me as much as you can darling, I don't want you to strain yourself too much."
"This is so embarrassing...." I mumble obeying him and letting him support most of my weight. Slower than before when I got up we make our way back to the bed, once I sink back onto the soft fabric I regret ever getting up anyway. Mephisto sits beside me and makes sure I can get situated, sometimes I'm really grateful I got to know him so well.
"Would you like me to inform Amaimon you're awake?"
"Would you really?" I smile, I hope he'll be happy but he might get mad I tried to get around on my own so soon, I'm sure he'll get over it though.
Mephi chuckles, "I'll be right back love."
It's about ten minutes I think before I see him coming up the hall Amaimon close behind him, I feel my heart leap with joy. "Amaimon!" I grin.
"You're finally awake," he grins at me. "I was starting to think you wouldn't wake up."
"I'll leave you two alone," Mephisto laughs closing the door behind him as he walks out.
"I had to wake up I'd miss you to much if I didn't," I giggle.
"Are you in pain?" He raises an eyebrow.
"Eeeeeeeh maybe a little bit nothing I can't handle."
"Hmmm are you lying to me?"
"A little....." I smirk.
He shakes his head, "Egyn wanted me to tell you he said hi."
"Awe," I laugh. "Did he tell you to let me hug you to because he really should have."
"No....." Amaimon frowns for a second before realizing I was teasing him. "I suppose I can give you the pleasure," he comes over to the bed, I sit up and make room for him I don't give him the chance to get comfortable before I have my arms around him.
"You've only been asleep for five days you know," he returns my hug and rests his head on my shoulder not letting me go.
"That's five days too many in my opinion," I giggle, I almost forget about my body aching at this point it's only a small but annoying burn I know it's only because I'm distracted but at least it's letting me enjoy this. "So we're you bored out of your mind without me to entertain you?"
He snickers, "on some occasions yes I was but I usually could find something that caught my attention for a little bit at least."
"You do know I'm not letting you leave now right?" I laugh.
"I could have figured as much at least let me get comfortable," he sighs.
"You mean you aren't?"
"Well I would prefer to lay down if I really am stuck with you for the day since you aren't aloud to move much."
"I tried to but mephi stopped me!" I huff more playfully than actually agitated. We release each other and he lays beside me staring at me.
"That's good you should rest."
"Wow, since you said so fine!" I groan.
"My brother wanted to ask how you feel about your tail."
"Huh...?" I frown I didn't even realize I had a tail until this point but now that I think about it I guess I did feel something trailing behind me when I tried to walk.
"You didn't realize you have a tail now?"
"I was caught up in trying to walk okay!" I try not to sound too embarrassed, I'll have to decide if I want to hide my tail or not later right now It's not important. "I always did want a tail when I was little."
He snickers, "an odd thing to want isn't it?"
"Well maybe but Is that really the strangest thing I've done."
"No definitely not." 
I snuggle up against Amaimon which I'm partially surprised he doesn't complain but instead shifts to accommodate to how I lay so I'm comfy.
"I'm trying to decide whether you're tired or you missed me even though you were just sleeping..." He mumbles.
"How about both," I smile closing my eyes.
"You do know this is your life now don't you?"
"Which part? getting to cuddle with you, having to put up with you, dealing with your family, or being a demon living here and never seeing anyone I know again essentially?" I try to not laugh it sounds so crazy that I picked this over my "normal" life and ever even giving Shadou a chance with me not like it would have worked out but it his head it would have.
"All of that you don't seem bothered at all.... Mephisto admitted he thought you would never agree to this so easily."
I open my eyes and push myself up until I can look directly into Amaimon's piercing gaze, "There is absolutely no other way I could picture my life, I get to spend forever with you, I adore your family they're hilarious honestly why would I ever want anything else."
He shrugs, "just curious is all."
I shake my head and kiss him quickly before sinking back into my previous relaxing position. It's quiet for awhile I assume he must be thinking about Satan knows what, I really am exhausted but I just don't want to sleep however I can feel my eyelids dropping despite my brains multiple protests. I fight trying to stay awake but I'm just so so sleepy and comfy and....I feel myself become lost in the comforting darkness and quiet of sleep. At least I know the first thing I see when I wake up will be Amaimon.
