"Mom! Wake up!" Kyo shakes me quickly.
I groan pulling a pillow over my face can't they go back to bed....
"Dad come play with us please!!!!" Misaki and Sayo pull at Amaimons shirt.
Amaimon ignores them and buries his head under the blankets, I roll over and do the same. We look at each other trying to keep a straight face and go back to sleep but that's pretty hard to do when there's three children jumping on your bed. I grab a set of feet from under the blankets and pull them until I feel their owner tumble to the floor, Amaimon smirks and copies me. We sit up and look at them.
"What's so important that we have to get up right now?" I laugh.
"Remember Mephi is supposed to visit today!" Kyo grins running around the room.
"Maybe he'll bring more video games to play with us!" Misaki laughs, "he got upset when I beat him last time!"
"I bet he's going to bring us sweets," Amaimon grins.
"You guys have to share them this time!" Sayo pretends to pout.
"Okay okay we'll get up but you three have to go get dressed got it!" I stand up and shoo them out of the room. Once they're all rushing to get their clothes I plop back onto the bed. "I blame you for this!" I playfully shove Amaimon.
"You agreed with me so you can't," he smiles.
"I'm just glad your family keeps them occupied."
"Yes it is good we stayed here for now and father likes them."
"Not as much as Mephisto does I'm pretty sure he's going to spoil them and form his own little child army."
Amaimon nods getting up and stretching, I sigh standing up and looking around the room seeing if our kids found our candy stash, thankfully they haven't yet. Sometimes I still can't believe we even have kids, I never ever and I mean ever wanted to have kids but well turns out I had an exception... I'm pretty sure If I'd be married to anyone else I would never have agreed to this but who am I kidding I could never say no to Amaimon, and now we have our own crazy little family. Kyo is the youngest though he doesn't act like it sometimes, he's only 4 while Misaki she's our middle child at 6 and then there's Sayo at 8. Me and Amaimon don't really keep track of how old they are and you really couldn't tell if you lined them up but Azazel loves counting their age and measuring their height and things like that. Iblis and Mephisto definitely spoil them them the most while Egyn and Beezlebub have effectively trained them to prank us every which way possible. Since they have so many people cooing over them constantly me and Amaimon still get our fair share of alone time, we go to Assiah and cause mischief sometimes cause it is a blast. Mephisto was shocked that Amaimon handles our kids so well, I have to admit I was to at first but Amaimon does have a sweet side when he wants to. I hear the kids squealing in excitement and know Mephisto is here, Amaimon and I head out into the hall and make our way downstairs where everyone is. Satan smiles at us when we go by his office, I wave at him happily.
"Mephi you're the coolest!" Sayo grins hugging him.
When Mephisto hears us approach he chuckles, "ah there's my darling flower and my not so darling brother."
"Hey Mephi," I laugh and give him a quick hug.
"You're children missed me have you not been letting them out of their rooms?"
"Don't be ridiculous! you just have to spoil them!"
"You should let them come have a sleep over at your place don't you think?" Amaimon smirks.
The kids all jump around him excitedly "could we could we!"
He sighs in defeat after giving Amaimon a glare, "how could I ever say no but you have to convince your darling parents to come to."
They rush over to us, "please!"
I look at Amaimon, "I don't know sounds like a bad idea."
"It would be pretty boring."
Misaki looks at us sadly, "you really won't come?"
We both grin, "of course we're coming silly."
She cheers hugging us both.
"Why don't you go pack so we can be on our way," Mephisto leads the kids to their rooms.
"Imagine if Rin saw this..." I laugh.
"He'd really think I brainwashed you and held you prisoner."
I nod laughing, "such a shame."
Mephisto and the kids come marching down the stairs, "I presume you two have what you need?"
"Sure," I nod.
"Let us be off then," he grins. "Eins Zwei Drei" he poofs us all to his house. Sayo and Misaki throw their bags and take off running to explore while Kyo waits for Mephisto to show him his anime collection, yes Mephisto got our youngest son into anime already, and that's all we hear about after Mephisto visits.
"Why don't you two go entertain yourselves while I get them settled?" Mephi smirks.
"Sounds like a good idea," Amaimon nods. "Let's go my queen."
I follow him outside, it's a beautiful day out and I definitely do not want to waste it.
"So what should we do?"
"Hmm." He  frowns.
"We could play a game cause I'm three," I laugh.
"What do you have in mind?"
"Well ya know if I had pocky..... But I think tag would be good to."
He smirked, "I do recall that's the first game we played isn't it?"
I nod, "fun times huh?"
"You're it first," he grins. "Now we should be almost even with speed."
"I hope so and I have to not run into you unless I do it on purpose this time."
"I'll have to be extra careful won't I?" He laughs and takes off running.
I'm surprised at how easily I can keep him in my sight, it feels like I'm running in the wind when he jumps into trees I effortlessly can follow. I push myself to run just a little faster to tag him, it takes some strain but I can do it and as soon as I know I got him I take off in the opposite direction and make my way towards the city. This is going to be fun, people stare at me as I zoom by them. I figure Amaimon is up on the rooftops to try and surprise me so I weave between cars on the street, maybe illegal but hey oh well. I see him behind me once I'm pretty much forced onto the sidewalk from the traffic. I really only did this because I have a plan and it's our anniversary as you'd call it, I run into the candy store and I really hope Mephisto remembered to do what I told him.
Amaimon follows and stops dead once inside, I'm hiding behind the counter, I really have to thank Mephisto for this. I got him to tell the candy place to make Amaimon a giant chocolate castle with lollipop decorations and such, I've been saving money up from helping out once in a while with Mephi's paperwork. I walk out from my hiding place to see Amaimon gaping at it.
"Hey who loves you?" I smirk going to stand beside him to see it.
"You got that for me?" He glances at me.
I nod feeling oddly sheepish, "yeah I did."
"Why...?" He frowns.
"I know it doesn't matter but for once I wanted to get you something for a change, it's our anniversary."
"Oh it is?" He mumbles.
Without warning he pulls me into his arms, I let out a small squeak surprised.
"I like it," he grins.
I laugh, "I thought you might."
He kisses me, then looks back at the castle. "How are we getting this home?"
"I'm sure it won't last that long to worry about it," I giggle.
"The kids would like it," he chuckles.
"We are with Mephisto, maybe we should torture him a little."
"That sounds fun."
"He has to help us move this anyway I'll text him," I giggle getting my phone to ask Mephi for help.
He shows up shortly after, he left the kids at his house since it's going to take a few seconds.
"Your gift did turn out quite lovely I must say," he grins eyeing up the chocolate.
I nod satisfied this all went well, "can you poof it to your place for us please?"
"I suppose I could if I can have a bite?" He smirks.
"Just a small one," Amaimon sighs.
Mephisto chuckles happily before poofing us all back to the house, the kids come running to see what we have. They gasp upon seeing the candy castle and rush over to exam it.
"Wow look at how yummy this looks!" Kyo mumbles in awe while Misaki walks around it taking in every detail.
"What's this for mom?" Sayo turns to me with curiosity lighting up his eyes.
"Well I got it for your dad," I giggle.
Amaimon shifts around awkwardly probably since the kids enjoy trying to make him embarrassed, I have to admit that's my fault.
"You really have to love him to get him so much sweets!" Misaki adds in wonder.
"She does more than you could comprehend at your age," Mephisto chuckles.
"You should tell us how you met!" Kyo grins. Sayo and Misaki are on board with the idea and crowd around us.
"Ask Mephisto," Amaimon smiles picking Kyo up from the floor and setting him on his shoulders.
"Oh will you tell us please Mephi?" Sayo tugs on his arm.
"I suppose I have little choice now," he sighs. "Let us move to the lounging area then." He picks Misaki up letting her wrap her arms around his neck.
Sayo looks at me hopeful so I let him crawl on my back for a piggy back ride to the living room. As a group we take the long way to give the kids an amusing ride, me and Amaimon even race with the boys while Misaki cheers us on. For once I actually win running into the living room and playfully making Sayo fall from my back to the couch. Amaimon and Kyo aren't far behind, Mephisto on the other hand takes his time to join us talking with Misaki most of the walk. Everyone gets settled the kids surround Mephi on the sofa while me and Amaimon share a rather comfy chair. Mephisto starts telling the story I let myself become lost in the words, I remember when I didn't think I could make a choice to change my life but I guess I did and without even realizing it. I know I made the right one, and if when I do doubt myself sometimes thinking about home all I have to do is look at my family, watch Amaimon play around and then I know I've found my home that can never ever be replaced.
How odd it is that we end up where we do, if someone would've asked me what I wanted to do with my life when I first was sent away I would never have answered fall in love with a demon. I can't say I would change anything because if I did I wouldn't be here, snuggling with Amaimon, having a wonderful family together and being a part of such a nice but quirky family.
