The air was full of tension as Gaara starred at Menma. Which made Naruto wonder if he should feel sorry for him. The two people in the arena starred at each other and leaked killing intend. Even though Gaaras was much stronger than Menmas. One would wonder why the blond wasn't out of the arena by now and gave up. As soon as the start came, the arenas sand made a cocoon around Menma and Gaara. "What is this. You Shu, do you know what happened? The arena floor shouldn't be moving and doing thinks on its own." At this, Gaara got a laugh flash. "Oi, it's not funny. We could be in real danger." "No, the only one in danger is you for what you have done to my younger brother." Said Gaara, laughing forgotten. "What are you talking about. Is this your brother Kura? Well, sorry, but I don't know him." "Naruto Uzumaki-Namikaze. Does that sound familiar to you? He should be around your age, with blond hair and blue eyes." Menma starred at the One-Tailes Jinchuuriki. That guy wanted to talk about his dead brother? Why bother? He was just a useless being anyway. "I see you remember him. Well, as his older brother it's my responsibility to get revenge for all the thinks you have done to Naru. I won't kill you. But I will do worse things than what Mei has done to your pathetic sister." Menma couldn't get it. Was Kura Naruto like his mother thought about in the land of waves? The bridge was named the 'Great Naruto bridge' after all. He wasn't able to think much longer, because he felt a hot pain flairing through his right leg and heard a loud crushing sound. Menma looked down to see his leg was broken. Probably more than once. He gritted his teeth and readied himself to attack before he lost his stance. Sand was sneaking up his other leg, happily crushing his bones and chakrapoints. Not being able to stand on his legs he fell to the side, hitting his head on a stone and nearly drowning in Gaara's sand before sucumbing to his mind. Outside the sand Ninjas from different villages were trying to get through the barrier. Without much luck. The Kirigakure teams stood on the sidelines and watched. "Should we help them?" Asked Naruto. "Why? Shu is going to open it soon anyway." Just as Yugito finished her sentence, the form opened and gave the view of a very beaten Menma and an blinking Gaara. "MENMA!!!!" Screamed his parents and rushed towards their son. "Winner of the fight is Shu from Kirigakure." The Tsushikage announced and sat back down like nothing happened. The proctor of the exam sight and called the last fight. "Will Kura of Kirigakure and Sasuke of Konoha please enter the arena." Naruto shook his head at his adoptive family's fuss, got hugs from his siblings and entered the arena like he was going for a walk.
