The Day of the third exam
The Konoha Genin were excited. They trained to the best of their abilitys and even mastered A- and S-class Jutsus. Hinata and Shikamaru wore a smirk. They were prepared to take the Kazekage's children down. Gaara explained the weaknesses to them, which left Shikamaru planning out five different strategies and two back up plans for their fight. Gaara and Fuu itched to fight Menma and Mito which may end in them dying but the two siblings couldn't care less. They messed with their brother so it's what they get. Naruto was relaxed. Sasuke may be one of the strongest of the five, but he still couldn't meet him on his highest level. Minato stepped forward while every visitor watched closely. "Welcome to this year's Chunin exams. I hope you all had a save trip. The first fight is between Temari form Suna and Shikamaru from Konoha. May everyone else please leave the arena." The Jinchuuriki and Hinata smiled at their friend, while Mito and Menma hit him on the back, wishing him good luck.
Ten minutes time skip *bought by me watching Twilight for the first time*
"Winner thought nockout. Shikamaru from Konoha wins." The blonde Hokage announced. "Next fight is Mito from Konoha against Mei from Kiri. May the two fighters please enter the arena." Fuu slapped Shikamarus shoulder on her way down while he walked past her. He managed to get Temari so beat up, she needed to go to the hospital. This was exactly what Fuu was planning for Mito.

Mito was pretty beat up. She couldn't even move and Minato still hadn't stopped the fight. Even though the poctor already told three times that Fuu was the winner. Finally, the current Mizukage stood up. "Because I don't want the Hokage who is delusional to loose his daughter I declare Mei from Kiri the winner of this match. Which means the next participants are Shu and Menma. Please enter the arena after a medical team got Mito out of it." No complains were sayed about her desition. "She wanted to play." Yugito told the again seated Mizukage who tilted her head as sign that she was listening. "Fuu didn't want that as an easy fight for the child of the Hokage. This was more of a cat and mouse play than a real fight. I should know. A cat told me."
