"Ready to go?"

Hyunjin was currently standing in front of the Bittersweet dorms as an excited Mari ran out of the door.

"I'm ready!" the girl beamed.

Hyunjin felt his cheeks heat up a little at how cute the girl looked while she was excited, but he quickly composed himself and straightened his back.

"Come on, gorgeous, let's go."

"A pottery making class!" Mari gasped excitedly.

The two had just walked into an art studio that had hundreds of paintings hung up on the wall. This particular studio had several pottery wheels everywhere, clay, and detail tools as well.

"Are you two here for the private lesson?" someone asked.

The two of them turned their heads and noticed a lovely art teacher who looked to be in their mid forties with a sweet smile.

"Yes we are! I booked it," Hyunjin beamed.

The idol turned to the singer proudly. "I know our first date was a painting class, so I figured our next one should also be artsy themed."
"So this is a date then?" Mari smirked, looking up at him.

Hyunjin froze in place, stunned by her words. Had he not made it obvious that this was a date? Had he overthought Mari's attraction to him and maybe she didn't actually like him and thought he was weird and she didn't want to go out with him anymore?!

"Jinnie?"

Mari's quiet and sweet voice broke him out of his thoughts as he quickly turned his attention back to her.

"You know I'm teasing, right? I like you too. I'd be really really happy if this could be a date."

Oh phew.

"Then this is our second date," Hyunjin confirmed, unable to control his smile. "And I really like you, too, if that wasn't already obvious."

Mari blushed a bit at that and turned away to hide her flushed face.

The teacher who would be conducting their private lesson guided them to a back room where they put on aprons and washed their hands.

"It would be better to tie your hair back," the instructor mentioned.

Mari looked panicked for a moment and Hyunjin noticed almost instantly.

"What's wrong gorgeous?"
"I forgot a hair tie," Mari mumbled embarrassed. "I was so excited to meet with you, I guess I forgot."

Hyunjin let out a small chuckle at that and gently pulled an extra tie off of his wrist.

"Here, I wore two just in case," Hyunjin offered.

Mari's heart swelled as she pulled her hair back into a low ponytail that sat at the base of her head.

Hyunjin also pulled his hair back into a shorter ponytail so that his bangs were out of his face.

The two of them sat side by side, each with a pottery wheel in front of them.

"Today, you both are going to make a vase and then you can use the detail brushes to decorate the clay."

The instructor took a blob of clay and smacked it onto the wheel.

Hyunjin and Mari glanced at each other and followed suit.

The instructor demonstrated the basics of making the vase and then left to allow the two of them to have some privacy.

Mari began to start shaping the clay, using her hands to build up the bottom of the vase. She began creating the round base and slowly began to build the nose.

Hyunjin meanwhile had somehow already finished and was currently doing the details on the base of his vase.

He was engraving butterflies into the base along with strings of leaves and mini flowers.

"You've really loved butterflies lately," Mari observed.
"What can I say, they remind me of you," Hyunjin smiled. "I can't help it."

Mari watched with adoration in her eyes as Hyunjin concentrated on making his vase as detailed as possible.

For her vase, Mari decided to try and engrave multiple Jinirets into it and five it to Hyunjin. She thought it could be a nice touch and that Hyunjin would appreciate the effort.

With that thought in mind, Mari set out to make the perfect Jiniret vase for Hyunjin.

But as she continued to try to work the clay, she found that the shape was just not what she wanted it to be.

"Do you need help, Mari?"

The girl nodded, admitting defeat.

"Here, I've got you."

Hyunjin carefully sent from behind in her into that cliche movie position and placed his hands over hers to guide her.

Mari gently leaned back into him as the two of them carefully carved out the shape together until it was perfectly round.

Hyunjin pulled away slowly as he and Mari stared into each other's eyes.

"Is that... is that better?"

Mari nodded, unable to say anything due to the closeness between them and the tension building up.

"Good," Hyunjin finally said. "I'm glad."

And then he pulled away, but neither of them were able to remove the ghost feeling of the other so close to them.

"Alright, you show me yours and I'll show you mine!"

The two of them on the count of three revealed their vases to the other and let out equally shocked/impressed gasps.

"Hyunjin, you engraved an 'M' into one of the butterflies?" Mari asked, feeling her heart swell.
"You made a bunch of my Jinirets!"

The two of them shared a laugh as they continued to admire the other's vase.

"Hyunjin, you really are so talented," Mari said softly. "If you weren't an idol, you could easily be an artist."
"I made the vase for you," Hyunjin smiled. "You've kinda been my muse lately."
"I made mine for you too! If the theme didn't already give that away," Mari said, excitedly.
"I also have one more thing for you," Hyunjin said, a smile on his face.

~~~เญจ โ‰ เญง~~~~~ เญจ โ‰ เญง ~~~~~เญจ โ‰ เญง~~~
"Hyunjin, you did not."
The two of them were currently at the 3racha + Hyunjin living room and Hyunjin just handed her a rectangular shaped box.
"Open it, Mari."
And when the girl did, there were two albums there; one from TXT and one from Seventeen.
And the albums were signed by all the members.
"Hyunjin, you're insane!" Mari gasped. "How did you even get this?!"
The dancer shrugged.
"Changbin is friends with everyone."
Mari hugged the albums to her chest and looked up and Hyunjin with bright eyes.
"This is the nicest thing anybody has ever done for me," Mari said softly. "Thank you, Jinnie."
"Anything for you, Mari."
The girl hesitated for a moment but then placed the albums done on the table next to them.
"Can... can I give you something too?"
Hyunjin nodded, unsure about what was going to happen.
Mari gently placed a hand behind his head and pulled him down towards her to pull him into a sweet kiss.
Hyunjin immediately leaned into the kiss and placed his hand on her waist to pull her in closer against him.
Mari smiled into the kiss and deepened it again, not wanting the moment to end.
When the two finally pulled apart from each other, Mari took a moment to step back and press a kiss to his cheek.
"Thank you, Hyunjin, you really are the best guy a girl could ask for."
