It's warm...My body feels warm...

Most of my senses are still sleeping and my eyes feel really heavy. I feel like I could just stay wherever I am right now and rest.

I don't feel any kind of pain and I seem to be laying on the ground. It feels soft...

It feels...familiar...

My thoughts were playing in my head and connecting like a puzzle. Then it hit me.

I was brutally stabbed in a alley...

But before my thoughts could continue on I felt a presence near me, I panicked.Adrenaline immediately kicked in. My teary and tired eyes shot open as I quickly stood up. My face was written with panic as my eyes didn't adjust to the bright light right away. I stood up on my wobbly legs as I stepped back as to where I thought was the opposite direction from where the presence was. I was starting to breath heavily again.

"OH SHIT" The voice of a man blurted out. Seemingly just as surprised as me.

My eyes finally adjusted and could make out a man standing a few metres in front of me. His shocked eyes met mine.

The terror on my face seemed to immediately be recognised by him and it didn't get any better as I realised that he looked different from anyone I've ever seen before.

"Hey um.. I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare you!" He said, almost apologetic.

My breathing was still heavy and something immediately seemed to be off about him.

His face was...coloured?

"W-where am I? Is t-this the afterlife?" Your voice was shaky and the man took notice of that. Tho he did seem confused by that sudden statement.

"Whoa calm down, everything is gonna be alr-"

"Why is your face painted!?"

"Please calm down everything's gonna be ok! Listen, I don't know how you got here but we'll figure it out." His voice was eerily calm and you started to relax.

Your body relaxed as he shot you a comforting glance.You contemplated getting closer to the weird human. You guessed that he could easily tower over you, by maybe a few inches.

"My name is Canada, what's yours if I may ask?" His voice was giving off a calm and peaceful aura, it made you feel at peace.

Canada? Like the country? What a weird name...

I hesitated but answered

"It's (Y/N) (L-L/N)..."

"What a lovely name...Listen (Y/N), I'm gonna bring you to someone who will help us with this situation ok?"

It's not like you really had another choice but to go with him,but you were having second thoughts about going with this stranger. But then again you were stranded on some random flower field in the middle of nowhere and had no where to go. Plus Canada seemed to be someone you could trust.

"A-alright"

"Follow me, can you walk?"

You didn't feel any pain so it seemed to be ok.

"I think I can , yeah..."

You and Canada were walking in silence with Canada occasionally asking you if you were still keeping up.

"Hey Canada...Why we're you walking in the woods by yourself, and how did you find me?"

He answered rather quickly

"You know it's currently mushroom season and me and my brother were collecting some"

Rather amazed by the fact that he liked collecting mushrooms as much as you did you couldn't hold in your excited voice

"Wait really!? I love collecting mushrooms! My mum always makes mushroom soup or noodles with mushrooms. She makes the best soup I swear"

"Really? You should try mine sometime, I bet it's just as good! "

You and Canada continued chatting about your favourite foods when you stumbled out onto a path.

It was narrow but enough to fit two people. You could go left and right but Canada guided you to the left.

"My cabins about a 3 Minute walk from here and the sun is still out so it's gonna be fine."

"Canada you seem a bit tense is everything alright?" You asked the male walking next to you to which he gulped.
"Well I've never really been in a situation like this before...I have to admit, you popping up from out of nowhere is really strange. But we'll get it sorted out soon so no worry's"
He answered truthfully, but the last part being directed to himself rather than you.

"Now that I think about it you probably don't have anywhere to stay so I suppose you can stay at my cabin" You we're still kind of shaken up from the whole encounter from before and remembering what happened before you got here. It was all just....Traumatic.

You quickly snapped out of it.

"Really you would allow me to stay? Thank you! Really!"
"I mean I can't let you freeze to death in the cold right? Besides I have enough room in my cabin anyway. It's warm and cozy in there you'll see."

You were really grateful for the offer Canada had made. Wow. You were really lucky you met him and not someone else.

"Hey look we're here"

In front of you was a beautiful cabin. The entrance was to the right and a little flight of stairs led to the front door. The dark wood was surrounded with even darker wood making the cabin look absolutely Fascinating. Then to the left was some fire wood stacked in a little shack connecting to the house.

"Wow Canada your Cabin is stunning, it looks so pretty!"
"You think so? I always thought it looked kind of boring,the inside is really pretty though"
"I can't even imagine how beautiful the inside is when the outside already looks like something out of a fairytale!"
You were truly amazed by the beauty of this cabin, and you were not even exaggerating.
Canadas mouth formed a warm smile. He had build the cabin himself and to have somebody commenting on it like this made him feel special.
"Thank you, I'm glad someone likes it.Lets go inside before it gets dark"

He started walking in front of you still with a warm smile spread across his face.
You walked up the hard wooden stairs and Canada let you inside his Cabin.

[ Ok so this is kind of rushed but I tried to make it longer than before. I didn't have the time to read over this so I hope I didn't make any mistakes while writing this.

Mystery: What happens next? Where will you sleep? On the floor? Sofa? Elsewhere?
And why was Canada so surprised?

I'm planning on publishing a chapter every day.
