Sportsmen - YMO x Happy End

The trio, Haruomi, Yukihiro, and Ryuichi are waiting in the basketball field. Both Yukihiro and Ryuichi knew why they're here but not in full context and they have been waiting for a while. "Who are we waiting for, Hosono-san? Let's just get this over already!" Ryuichi was clearly getting bored. Haruomi didn't respond to Ryuichi's childish ranting while Yukihiro reassured him that they will come even though both of them don't know who.

"Sorry we're a bit late, Hosono-san!" said one of the three men, walking in the field. "Matsumoto took a long time picking out his top.". "I wasn't as long as you were, Eiichi." Said the tall one whose name is Matsumoto to his friend whose name is Eiichi. "You could've told us that you invited Happy End, Hosono-san." Said Yukihiro to Haruomi. Yes, Haruomi invited his old bandmates from Happy End.

The three of them have the same hair length but it was easy to tell who is who. The tall one with straight hair who was wearing a white tee with blue short sleeves is Takashi Matsumoto, the drummer while the other two are Eiichi Ohtaki and Shigeru Suzuki. Eiichi was roughly the same height as Haruomi and he has a slightly curly hair while wearing a green tee. Shigeru is slightly taller than Eiichi and he was wearing a red basketball singlet with the word "Okusawa" and the number 5 on the middle. He also has a wavy hair. Both Eiichi and Shigeru the guitarists of Happy End.

"Do you three still remember my bandmates?" asked Haruomi. Shigeru nodded, "It's nice to see you two again, Yukihiro. Ryuichi." And greeted. "It's nice to see the three of you again too!" Yukihiro happily replied. Haruomi then explained that they will have a 3-on-3 basketball match which the teams, clearly YMO vs Happy End. Ryuichi was elected as the captain, much to Haruomi's dislike while Eiichi and Shigeru didn't have any arguments with Takashi as their captain.

The two captains face to face and with a single dribble, the match started. Happy End had a great start until the ball was taken by Yukihiro. "I'm open!" Ryuichi shouted and Yukihiro passed the ball. Ryuichi ran straight to the opposite goal and scored the first point for the team. Second round started and in YMO's side, the only one who was mostly playing was Ryuichi. Both Haruomi and Yukihiro kept yelling at him to pass the ball but he didn't listen and kept on charging.

"For the love of... Sakamoto! Pass the damn ball!" Haruomi shouted in frustration. "I got this!" Ryuichi shouted back but he was tackled by Takashi. "Shigeru!" Takashi passed the ball to Shigeru and after successfully passed through Yukihiro's defense, Shigeru scored a point for Happy End. "Great job, Shigeru!". "That was awesome!" Takashi and Eiichi cheered.

The two teams played more rounds and even though YMO managed to tie the scores with Happy End, Haruomi was getting tired of Ryuichi's childish selfishness while Yukihiro was concerned with the team's dynamics. Yukihiro shot the ball but it missed as it bounced back from the board. "My goodness, Yukihiro! That was a clean shot! How could you miss?" Ryuichi angrily yelled then Haruomi yelled back in Yukihiro's defense, "This wouldn't happed if you stop being a child!" the two then argued.

Yukihiro sighed and asked for a time out. "Would you please excuse us for a moment?" he then pulled Haruomi and Ryuichi to the side of the field. "What do you want?" Ryuichi groaned. "Look, we know that you're good with this sport..." he looked at Ryuichi then to Haruomi, "... and we know that you want us to have fun, but not like this. You two need to stop choking on each other's necks.". Both Haruomi and Ryuichi were against each other's back with their arms crossed.

"Do you still want to keep playing or do you want me to claim forfeit?" Yukihiro smiled innocently from the subtle threat. It seems that Haruomi and Ryuichi were concerned from the threat and willing to work together again. "Now shake hands..." said Yukihiro and the two men reluctantly shook hands. "And say, "I'm a douche"...". "I'm a--Hey!" Ryuichi quickly realized the teasing and Yukihiro chuckled. YMO and Happy End resumed their match.

This time YMO has better cooperation and managed to overwhelmed Happy End. "Come on, you two! We can't lose!" said Takashi to Shigeru and Eiichi. "Yeah!". "We got this!" both men responded. The match was quite intense between teams with good defense and tackles. "'You're all open, Matsumoto-san!" Eiichi excitedly shouted. Just as Takashi going to shoot a score, Haruomi suddenly snatched the ball mid-air and dribbled away.

"Yuki!" Haruomi passed the ball to Yukihiro then ran to the opposite goal. "Ryuichi!" Yukihiro threw the ball then Ryuichi passed it back to Haruomi, "Back to you, Hosono-san!" he scored with a slam dunk. "Yeah!!" Ryuichi and Yukihiro cheered. Happy End was getting the heat. YMO won nine point while Happy End only got seven. "Good game, everyone.". "That was fun." Said Takashi and Shigeru. Both teams accepted the results fair and square.

"Thank you for inviting us, Hosono. It was nice to have the four of us together again." Takashi smiled to Haruomi. "I'm glad that you three can come." Haruomi smiled back. "How about we do this again some time?" Eiichi asked and Yukihiro suggested if they want to play bowling. The rest agreed and left the field after saying goodbye.
