Competitions and Surprises Part 2

A/N~ Here's the rest of it!

"Well, where are we going?" I asked hoping for a snippet of information.

"It's a surprise." He replied bluntly with that smirk of his.

"When are we going to get there?" I ask getting desperate.

"Now." He says stopping at a big white door with engraving all across the wood. "Close your eyes."

"Why?" I said sassily placing my hands on my hips. He kissed my nose.

"Just do it."

I sighed as I closed my eyes. I heard the door opening. Kili grabed my hands and pulled me forward. I smelled flowers and heard water running and splashing. I'm guessing it's a waterfall. We stopped a few steps later.

"Okay. Open 'em." Kili said. I opened my eyes. We were on a balcony. There were flowers everywhere. I was right there was a waterfall off to my left. I turned around, and Kili was on one knee. In his hand he was holding the most beautiful ring, I gasped as he said.

"Leonetha, youngest daughter of Rinar, Captain of the Guard, and Sillia, the dwarven-elf, my One, I have loved you since that morning you put honey on my hand." I giggled at the memory as he continued. "I love you so much. I want to live the rest of my life with you. I want to be at your side through all the ups, downs, laughs, cries, and everything in between. Will you do my the honor of being my wife?"

By the time he finished we both had tears in our eyes. I couldn't say anything so I just nodded. He laughed and spun me around. I couldn't help but laugh with him. After he set me down he took my left hand and slipped the ring onto my finger and smiled. He pulled me into his arms and kissed the top of my hair.

"I love you." I said into his chest. He pulled back and held my face in his hands.

"And I love you." He said as he connected our lips. I wrapped my arms around his torso pulling him closer, until I heard someone clear their throat of to our left. We pulled apart. My family, Lord Elrond, Gandalf, Bilbo, and all twelve of the dwarves were standing there. I blushed and let out a nervous chuckle.

"Hi." I said to our audience. Thorin stepped forward and said

"Welcome to the family." He smiled. I pulled away from Kili and embraced my new uncle.

"Should I call you uncle now?" He laughed.

"Uh, no. That makes me feel old." I laughed.

"You are old! At least compared to me, Kili, and Fili." I shot back smiling. I turned to look at my mother. She had tears in her eyes. I let go of Thorin and wrapped her in my arms. She cried into my shoulder.

"Oh, iell nin!" She cried. (Elvish for "my daughter")

"I am so proud of you." She said as she kissed my forhead.

"Gi mellon, Nana." I said holding her tight. (Elvish for "I love you, mommy/mom")

~Today~

I was so happy when he asked me to be his wife, I thought the way he did it was so sweet. Right now I couldn't be happier. I have my family, my fiance, and the most wonderful friends but, I guess if you want the rainbow you gotta have the rain. What is my rain you may ask? Well, we're leaving tomorrow. Thorin said that we shouldn't tell anyone, so I'm saying goodbye to Nana, Kolir, Koiber, and Cleavyan tonight, but, not before I get a bath! I've been really sore ever since the incident. It's steadily gotten worse. A warm bath with salts and mineral should help.
