Third person's POV

Consort Tzuyu walks over to The Queen, she gently fixes the royal robe for her as Chaeyoung has been lying down since last night and her clothes aren't as neat as they always are. She smiles at Chaeyoung before speaking up, 'Mina won't go anywhere, I got her to promise me that she will stay until you are fully recovered.'

'You did?' The Queen asks, feeling so relieved hearing that, 'Thank you, Tzuyu ah! What can I do without you, huhm?' Chaeyoung gently hugs Tzuyu by the waist,

The Consort smiles happily at the affection from the Queen, she then also gently fixes The Queen's hair while telling her, 'Now it's up to you to make her stay permanently, but Your Majesty, I've gotta warn you... Mina is quite mad at you and that royal decree you issued this morning.'

'Uh oh.' Chaeyoung nervously gulped, her heart deeply sank remembered what Mina said to her just earlier before the girl stomped out of the room, 'You... you don't care about me. You said you love me, but it's a lie, everything you told me is all lies. You broke your promises, you broke... my heart, and I... will never forgive you... ever...'

'I really upset her this time, didn't I?' The Queen asks herself while scratching her not so itchy neck. She takes deep breaths to brave herself before going to face her Mina, heading straight into a hurricane.

On the other hand, since she got back from the Queen's palace, Mina has been sitting in her room and just stares into nothingness. Of course Mina knows Chaeyoung loves her to pieces, and that's why she is even more upset at The Queen's decision to let go of her. No matter how many times she thinks about it, she just can not accept that unreasonable royal decree,

'Mina! Mina!!' Head Court Lady Nayeon and JiHyo are knocking on the door nonstop,

Mina walks over and opens the door of her room to see Nayeon and JiHyo are both breathing heavily, probably from all the running they have done, 'Mina, Her Majesty has withdrawn that royal decree she issued this morning, and therefore everything is now back to how it used to be. You are still Her Majesty's personal maid and has all the right to stay here in the palace.' Nayeon happily tells her,

Mina's face lits up hearing that, but then quickly turned back to being sad again, 'No, Head Court Lady, nothing is back to normal now. Everything has changed since that... that heartless royal decree.'

Anyone could easily hear the sulkiness in the Princess's voice. Nayeon and JiHyo look at each other, debating with themselves whether they should tell Mina the truth, about how this whole thing didn't happen just because The Queen wants it that way, but it happened after many serious thoughts, and it is certainly The Queen's grand plan to bring Vice Minister JeongYeon back to her senses, as well as pushing those government members to start taking supportive action for the relationship between Mina and the Queen herself.

'Her Majesty has arrived!'  Right then, a guard loudly announced the arrival of the Queen,

Mina's heart quickly doubled its speed, as that is what Chaeyoung's presence can do to her. But the sulky Princess decided to close the door, not wanting to face The Queen at the moment,

On the other hand, Nayeon and JiHyo glances at each other, very worried that Mina might get in trouble for daring enough to not greet the Queen. They both sigh deeply before turning to The Queen  and bow their heads, 'Your Majesty.' They greet,

Chaeyoung nods at them, she then looks at the closed door, 'Is Mina inside?'

'Yes, Your Majesty.' JiHyo nervously replied,

'Does she know that I'm here?' Chaeyoung continues to ask,

Nayeon quickly knocks on the door, 'Mina, you need to come out here to greet Her Majesty.' She reminded her,

But all they get is silence from the other side. At this point, the Queen is very sure that Mina is super mad at her, and the Penguin is so upset that she doesn't care if she is being disrespectful to the powerful Tiger. Chaeyoung proceeds to step closer to the door, 'Mina, can I... come in?' The Queen is asking for permission from a maid, this is something no one has ever seen before,

But the answer from this sulky Princess on the other side of the door is what got everyone's eyes widen, 'No... Your Majesty. I don't want to see you... please leave!'

Everyone is glancing at each other, they all broke out in cold sweats thinking that a big storm is coming from the Queen's wrath because my God, in their whole lives, have they ever imagined that anyone is dare enough to tell the Queen, the very owner of this whole palace to leave,

On the other hand, Chaeyoung takes quick glances at Nayeon, JiHyo then to her personal guard Hyung Sik, then to the other guards and maids, then she laughed awkwardly while scratching her not so itchy neck, trying to fill in the silence as that is the only thing she can do now, 'Keep everything that you see and hear today to yourself, understand?' She tells the people who are present, trying to make sure her Mina doesn't have to face any consequences for her daring action at the moment,

'Yes, Your Majesty.' They replied while smiling to themselves. These maids and guards are the ones who have witnessed many things between The Queen and Mina, so by now they know so well how much The Queen spoils the girl,

Meanwhile, Chaeyoung is biting her lips real hard to think of a way to soothe the angry girl, she knows that she can not raise her voice or uses her power as a Queen towards Mina at the moment, because the last thing she wants is to make Mina more upset,

Head Court Lady Nayeon steps closer to the Queen, 'Your Majesty, maybe... let me tell Mina the truth about the plan...?' She whispered asks,

Chaeyoung shakes her head, 'No, Nayeon unnie, let me talk to her first...' She whispered back at Nayeon, '... That is if she even opens the door for me.'

'Then... JiHyo and I will take our leave for now.' Head Court Lady wants to give The Queen some privacy, 'Good luck! Your Majesty.' She says with a hint of amusement, having never seen the prideful and 'winning is the only option' Chaeyoung in such a sticky situation like this before.

After Nayeon and JiHyo left, seeing that The Queen just keeps walking back and forth in front of the closed door, Hyung Sik also wants to help, 'Your Majesty, why don't you just barge in? Even if the door is locked, I'm sure you can kick it open.'

Chaeyoung looks at him with a deadpan expression on her face, 'Hyung Sik, now I know why you are still single despite that good looking face of yours.'

'Huh?' Hyung Sik is so blank,

The Queen sighs loudly before starting to explain, 'When your girl is upset at you, if she says no, it means no. She said she doesn't want to open the door for you, so even if it is unlocked, you simply do not force your way in.'

'Ahhhh...' Hyung Sik nods his head along as if he just learnt a very valuable lesson,

Chaeyoung continues to explain while looking into the distance, as if she is still trying to come to term with herself, 'When your girl is angry at you, you become powerless, no matter who you are, even if you are... a Queen...' She tries hard to swallow her pride, 'If your girl wants you to... kneel, you kneel... understand?!'

Hyung Sik nods his head again but he totally can tell that what the Queen just said is just her giving herself encouragement, 'What about your pride, Your Majesty?' He asks,

'I can live without my pride, but... I certainly can't live without my Mina.' Chaeyoung answered honestly, she then looks at Hyung Sik, 'Therefore Hyung Sik, get all the guards and maids away from here, and do not let anyone comes near this area unless it's an emergency.' She ordered, wanting to protect the very last bit of pride she has by not letting anyone else see how brazen she can get in front of her angry Treasure,

Hyung Sik chuckles to himself, 'Yes, Your Majesty.' He then got everyone to leave the place.

The Queen is now the only one outside the door, she quickly starts to soothe her sulky girl, 'Mina, open the door for me... please!'

'No.' Mina replies right away as if she has been waiting this whole time,

'My Treasure, please let me see you! Let me explain everything to you.' Chaeyoung continues to plead,

And Mina continues to refuse, 'No... Your Majesty, you don't care about me. You don't want me here with you, there's no need to explain.'

'Alright, alright... it's all my fault! I won't explain myself or anything. I... I just want to see my Mina.' The Queen is almost begging,

And with that the soft sniffles can be heard from the sooky Princess, 'No... no you don't, you don't... want to see me. You didn't... choose me... you wanted me to go away...'

Chaeyoung's heart just sank deeply hearing Mina's crying sound, 'Oh God, you're crying. Mina, please don't cry! Please let me in! Yes, I was wrong, I was very bad. My good Treasure please forgive me!' The Queen got panic and starts begging like there's no tomorrow,

On the other hand, Mina has been standing up, then sitting back down again many times, battling with herself whether she should open the door. She wants to jump into Chaeyoung's loving arms so badly, but her pridefulness, her stubbornness plus her sulkiness are weighing her down.

Right then, Head Court Lady Nayeon and JiHyo hurriedly run over, 'Your Majesty! Your Majesty!' They called,

The Queen quickly composed herself, then she turned to the two, 'What's the matter?' She asks,

'Your Majesty, all of the government members and even the State Councillor are waiting for your permission to come inside your room to visit you right now.' Nayeon tells The Queen. She then whispered the next part, 'They think that you are still really really sick, they have no idea that you are already able to run all the way over here and... beg like this.'

Chaeyoung clears her throat loudly hearing that last part, she's furiously fixing her royal robe as if that would help restore her dignity,

Embarrassment is one thing, but the bigger thing in The Queen's mind right now is a little celebration that her plan is working so well, and that means she might just hit two birds with one stone. Vice Minister JeongYeon is very well convinced and surrendered, now it's the last barrier, those very protective government members, who will even help to organise the wedding for their Queen and the Princess of Macedon if everything goes according to the grand plan which Chaeyoung has risked her own pride and reputation to do. It is indeed a self inflicted pain plan, but if it's what it takes so she can marry Mina and gives the girl she loves a royal title, then The Queen will take the pain and the blame without complaining.

'I will get back to my room right away.' Chaeyoung tells Nayeon and JiHyo. She then turned back to the closed door, 'Mina, I have to get back to my room now because I have something to do, but I will be back here right after.'

Mina shot up from her chair, she takes a few steps towards the door, wanting to open it, 'You... you are... leaving already?' She mumbled complains to herself,

'My darling Treasure, I will come back! Very very soon, I promise you.' Chaeyoung gently says from the outside as if she could read Mina's mind,

The sulky Princess is now a mess, she is still mad at The Queen but at the same time, she doesn't want the Queen to leave, and that's why her frustrated tears just keep falling,

'But Mina ah, hush now, huhm?! My heart hurts so much if you keep crying like this.' Chaeyoung patiently tells the girl she loves,

Mina involuntary nods her head while starting to wipe her own tears,

But The Queen didn't see that because she's on the other side of the door right now. Chaeyoung is so so worried about Mina that she can't bring herself to leave, 'My Mina, you be a good girl and stop crying now. No more tears huhm?! You listen to me and I will be back faster than my horse could run.'

'Yes...' a very soft but still soaked with sulkiness reply can be heard. No matter how upset she is, but the love which this innocent Princess has for the great Queen is still as big as an ocean, and that's why her heart gave in,

Chaeyoung's face lits up after finally hearing a "yes" after so many "no" from Mina today. She looks at Nayeon and JiHyo, then silently celebrates with a thumb up. The three of them chuckle softly at the innocent little Penguin who is trying hard to put on a hard shell but at the same time, struggling to hide her already fallen and very soft heart.
