It has been a few days since Rafiki told the Lion Guard and Timothy about the Emperor Scorpion's venom and it's side-affect. During those days, Timothy had been sitting in the Lion Guard Lair, waiting to get healed from the Scorpion's venom, which it did, thanks to Rafiki and Makini, but the side-affect was still inside Timothy. Rafiki and Makini looked at their paintings, but couldn't find the cure anywhere, even the Lion Guard looked to see if they could find the cure for the side-affect, but it was no use they just couldn't find it.

It was night-time now and everyone in the Lion Guard Lair was asleep, but Timothy was turning around in his sleep as he was having a nightmare.

(Timothy's P.O.V.)

When Timothy woke up, he saw that he was in the same dark room he visited before when he and his friends visited the Great Sky Forge! As Timothy stood up, he felt the wind blowing from behind him from last time. Timothy turned around and saw someone he did not expect. He saw a tall, dark-skinned man with dark bags under his eyes. He was also wearing black robes with a dark-grey spiky helmet.

Timothy looked at the dark-skinned man with a glare, "Who are you?" Timothy said in an angry tone. The man just shook his head with a chuckle and smirk, "Why, I'm you, Timothy!" The man replied, which caused Timothy to step back in shock. "No, that's impossible!" Timothy said. "Is it, I mean you were born with my blood!" The man revealed still smirking. Timothy was confused, "'Your blood?'" Timothy repeated what the man said with a confused look on his face, but his confused face turned into a horrified face, "You... your my... my uncle, Strykore!" Timothy said with a horrified look still on his face.

Strykore smiled evilly, "Yes, I am." Strykore said, "Now, come with me my nephew." Strykore added. "I will never join you, TRAITOR!" Timothy said then shouted in an angry tone and making an angry look on his face. Strykore just laughed at the insult, "You call me a traitor, after everything you just did back on Chima." Strykore said, which turned Timothy's angry look into a shocking look, "That's right, you pushed away your friends, just like I did to my brother and sister." Strykore added. "No, I know what you're doing, and it's not gonna work." Timothy said as he shook his head and taking a step back.

Strykore just laughed again, "Oh, I think it is already." Strykore said, "You know why?" Strykore asked rhetorically, "Because, we are the same Timothy, Sisi Ni Sawa." Strykore added with an evil chuckle. "NO! WE'RE NOT THE SAME!" Timothy shouted as while glaring at his evil uncle. Strykore smiled evilly as he used his magic to conjure a dark-bladed dagger, "You know what nephew, you're right." Strykore said, "Because you don't have a scar yet!" Strykore revealed with an evil grin.

After Strykore said that, Timothy's eyes widened in fear, "Now, hold STILL!" Strykore said then shouted as he suddenly jumped forward, about to lay a strike on Timothy's eye so he can get a scar across his eye, just like Strykore. Just as Strykore was about to give Timothy his scar, Timothy suddenly woke up from his nightmare,

As Timothy woke up from his nightmare, he started to think if he and his uncle were the same. Timothy decided to go out and walk around a bit and think about what he just experienced. What he didn't realize was that when Timothy left the Lair, Kion's eyes shot open as he picked up Timothy's scent.

It was still dark outside with the moon shining, but Timothy didn't care. Just as he sat down on the green grass, he spotted the volcano from where he was sitting. While looking at the volcano, Timothy made a sad look on his face and thinking if he should just leave the Pride Lands and go somewhere else. Timothy was about to stand up, but heard footsteps from behind him. Timothy stood up and turned around quickly while standing in a defensive position. "Whoever you are, show yourself." Timothy said in an angry tone. After Timothy said that, Kion stepped into the moon's light, "It's just me, not Janja or Scar." Kion said in a relaxing tone.

"Oh, hey Kion." Timothy said as he turned back around and sitting down with tears falling from his eyes. Kion noticed the tears and sat next to him, "What are you thinking about?" Kion asked with a sad look on his face. Timothy looked at the darkness around him and Kion then looked back at him, "It's dark out here. Isn't it?" Timothy said and asked while looking down. Kion looked around and saw it was dark, "Yes, it is, but I don't see how... " Kion was just about to reply, but Timothy interrupted him, "That's just it Kion, I feel like I'm filled with that darkness, with no light shining at all in me." Timothy explained with more tears rolling down his cheeks, "I'm lost within that darkness Kion, if only you knew what it felt like." Timothy added as he started to sob quietly.

Kion took a big inhale then exhale, "Actually, I do now what it feels like." Kion said as he looked at the volcano, "There was a time where I lost control of the Roar and I almost lost my mom." Kion added as his ears fell back. Timothy looked at Kion then back down to the ground, "There's more, isn't there?" Kion asked as he looked back at Timothy, which caused him to look back at Kion. "I had a nightmare about my evil uncle, Strykore." Timothy explained. "He said to me that we're the same and... I'm starting to think he's right." Timothy added as tears were still rolled down his cheeks.

Kion looked at Timothy with a sad look, "Timothy, you are nothing like... " Kion was just about to say, but Timothy interrupted him again, "I'M BORN WITH HIS BLOOD KION, GIVE ME A REASON HOW ME AND STRYKORE ARE NOT THE SAME!" Timothy snapped as he glared at Kion, without realizing it. After Timothy figured out what he did, he looked back at the ground, "I'm sorry Kion, but you have no idea how me and Strykore are alike." Timothy said in a shaky voice as he started sobbing again.

Kion placed his left paw on Timothy's right shoulder, which calmed him down a bit. "Timothy, I was going to say that you are nothing like your uncle." Kion said, "In fact, you're a lot like me actually." Kion added with a smile. Timothy looked at Kion with a sad look still on his face, "How so?" Timothy asked. "We're both leaders with a secret power inside us and we have old, evil relatives that we fear of." Kion explained, "We are the same Timothy, Sisi Ni Sawa." Kion added saying the phrase and putting his left paw down, "And I'm not gonna let a friend of mine think he's evil in his heart." Kion added, which made Timothy's eyes widen. "We're friends?" Timothy asked.

Kion let out a friendly chuckle after he heard Timothy's question, "Of course, you helped me and the Guard in the Outlands the other day." Kion replied, "Which reminds me, 'Asante' Timothy." Kion said, which made Timothy confused, "It means, thank you." Kion explained. A slight smirk was starting to form on Timothy's face, but turned back into a frown, "Are we still friends if I lose myself to the 'side-affect?'" Timothy asked as another tear rolled down his right cheek. "Timothy, you're not gonna be yourself if the 'side-affect' starts to act up." Kion replied, "Of course, I'll still be your friend if you lose yourself, and you're not alone." Kion said, "The Lion Guard will be with you until we find a cure." Kion added while looking confident. Timothy saw that Kion wasn't going to give up and smiled at him, "Thank you Kion." Timothy said. "What are friends for." Kion replied as he stepped forward and gave Timothy a hug. Timothy was shocked at first, but embraced it and hugged him back.

What Kion and Timothy didn't know is that there was a familiar Skink and Scorpion watching them from the tall grass, "Ready to see the impossible Shupavu?" The Scorpion said with an evil grin. "Show me what the side-affect does, Kudhibiti." Shupavu replied revealing the Scorpion's name and grinning evilly. Kudhibiti nodded as he slowly crawled towards Kion and Timothy. "Just like you planned Scar." Shupavu revealed as she continued to smile evilly.

Next time on The Golden Guardian Adventures: Timothy and the Lion Guard: Timothy had a nightmare about his evil uncle Strykore and was struggling with it. Kion didn't like to see Timothy like this so he comforted him until Timothy was alright, like a good friend should do. But during their talk, Shupavu and the Emperor Scorpion named "Kudhibiti" eavesdropped and carried on with Scar's plan which has something to do with the "side-affect" inside Timothy! What's going to happen next? What will Timothy be ordered to do? Will Timothy even fight off or lose himself to the side-affect? Is there even a cure for the side-affect? Find out in the next installment of The Golden Guardian Adventures: Timothy and the Lion Guard.

F.Y.I., Kudhibiti is the African word for "control." I decided to name the scorpion that name because I don't have a better name to give him. Anyway, please tell me your thoughts. Is there anything I should change or do you like it like this? Please let me know, and I'll see you later.

'Till the Pride Lands End.
