It had been a few more days since Kion helped Timothy break free from the side-affect, which he is still recovering from. Ever since that day, Timothy has been getting headaches, which he tried to ignore but he couldn't because it was hurting a lot. Rafiki told Timothy to drink lots of water and get lots of rest so the headache will go away, which he did but for some reason, it wasn't working. Sometimes while he's resting, King Simba, Queen Nala and Princess Kiara would enter the Lair to examine Timothy and talk to Kion about him.

As the sun was rising and Timothy was resting, Simba and Nala were talking to their son about Timothy while Kiara took a closer look at him. Two of Kiara's friends, Tiffu and Zuri, went with Kiara to look at Timothy as well. "Kiara, why is he covered with this, stuff?" Zuri asked as she looked at Timothy's clothes. "You know how our fur keeps us warm from the cold?" Kiara asked while looking at her friend. "Yes." Zuri replied while looking up at her best friend. "That's probably why he's covered with this, stuff." Kiara suggested.

Tiffu was just nudging him when she felt his hair on the top of his head. "Oh wow, his fur is so soft and silky." Tiffu said as she kept nuzzling his hair with a smile on her muzzle. "Let me feel it." Zuri said as she instantly rushed towards Timothy's hair and started to nuzzle it too. "Oh your right Tiffu, it is so soft and silky." Zuri said with smile on her muzzle. "Kiara, you should defiantly feel this." Tiffu requested. "Girls, I do think his fur is soft and silky, but I don't think we should be messing with his fur." Kiara suggested with a worried look on her face. Tiffu and Zuri looked at their best friend, "C'mon Kiara, what could happen?" Zuri asked with a smile still on both her and Tiffu's muzzles.

Just after Zuri asked her question, Timothy moved his body to the side with a grunt, which scared Tiffu and Zuri so they ran behind Kiara. Timothy grunted again as he moved to the other side, which made Kiara think he was waking up. "Mom, Dad, I think he's waking up!" Kiara said while looking back at her parents. Simba, Nala and the Lion Guard became alerted by Kiara's cry so they rushed towards Timothy, but remained a few feet away from him.

As Timothy was starting to wake up, he felt a sharp sting in his head as usual and raised his body. As he was about to get a drink from Beshte's pool, he saw everyone looking at him, including a few new Lions he never seen before. Timothy was surprised by this, but smiled when he saw Kion rush in front of him. "Good morning Timothy." Kion said with a smile on his muzzle. Timothy smiled back at Kion, "Morning Kion." Timothy said as he yawned then he smiled back at Kion. Timothy took a glance up at the new Lions, which Kion noticed and chuckled a bit. Kion looked back at Kiara and motioned his head right, signaling her to stand right next to him, which she did.

When Timothy saw another cub standing right next to him, he was even more confused and even making a confused look on his face which made Kion chuckle a bit more. "Timothy, this is my sister and future Queen, Princess Kiara." Kion said introducing Timothy to his sister. After Kion introduced Kiara, her two friends came running in and stopped beside her, "And these are her two friends, Tiffu and Zuri." Kion introduced his sister's best friends. "By the way, your fur is so soft and silky." Tiffu said with smile across her muzzle, which made Timothy confused but just ignored that complement. Kion looked back at his parents then back at Timothy, "And they are our parents, Simba and Nala." Kion introduced, "King and Queen of the Pride Lands." Kiara added.

Hearing they were King and Queen, Timothy bowed his head in respect. "Your majesties." Timothy said still bowing. Simba and Nala looked at Timothy with reassuring smiles, "Timothy, Kion told us about you and how you helped him and the Lion Guard in the Outlands the other day. We thank you for that." Nala said and thanked. Timothy raised his head and looked at the King and Queen with a smile, "Oh, it was no problem." Timothy said. "Kion and the Guard also told us everything else about you." Simba said with a smile as well. Timothy looked at the King, "So, that means you know about... " Timothy was about to say but Simba cut him off. "Yes, we know that you are... cursed, but just to let you know that you are welcomed here in the Pride Lands." Simba said, "On one condition." Nala added. Kion and his Guard and Timothy were all confused, "Condition, your majesties?" Timothy asked with a confused look on his face.

"Yes." Nala replied as she looked at Simba. "You must j... " Simba was about to say the condition, but then a Hornbill came flying in shouting. "YOUR MAJESTIES, LION GUARD!" The Hornbill shouted. Everyone looked and saw it was the King and Queen's reporter. "Zazu, what is it?" Simba asked with a shocking look across his muzzle. "Janja and his Hyenas are attacking Mizimu Grove, Reirei and her Jackals are attacking Big Springs, Kiburi and his Crocodiles are attacking Makuu's watering hole and Mzingo and his Vultures are setting up fires near the Zebra's grazing grounds!" Zazu informed. Kion looked at his friends, "Lion Guard, let's go." Kion said. "Till the Pride Lands End... " Kion began saying, "Lion Guard Defend." The rest of the Guard said finishing the motto while leaving the Lair.

Back in the Lion Guard Lair, Timothy got his drink then sat back down on his bed of leaves witha  grunt, "If only I could help the Lion Guard fight off Scar's army." Timothy said with his eyebrows furrowed. Both the King and Queen looked at Timothy, "We know, but if you want to help others, you must help yourself." Nala suggested. "I agree, your headache is your top priority right now." Simba said agreeing with Nala, "Get that fixed up and you will be able to help the Lion Guard." Simba added with a smile. "Anyway, we're heading back to the den, we'll be back down to check on you if you need anything." Nala said with a smile. Timothy smiled back at the King and Queen, "Thank you, your majesties." Timothy said as he bowed in respect again. "C'mon Kiara, leave Timothy with his rest." Simba said as he saw his daughter looking at Timothy with curious eyes. Kiara looked back at her father, "Okay Dad." Kiara said as she followed her father and Kiara's friends following her.

After the Royal Family left, Timothy smiled at the fact that Kion had an amazing family and the fact that he was a prince with a duty to protect the Pride Lands. "Kion is right, he and I are the same." Timothy said to himself then felt his headache kick in. After he felt that, he lied down on his bed of leaves to try to sleep, but was instantly woken up by the sound of footsteps approaching. Timothy raised his head and saw another Lion cub, but he was different from the Royal Family. He had chocolate brown colored fur with a tuft mane on his head, just like Kion's but his mane was black and he also had green eyes. "Hello." Said the Lion cub. "Just wondering if there was somebody in here." The Lion cub added. Timothy was confused, "Why are you wondering if someone is in here?" Timothy asked while looking at the cub with a curious look on his face. The cub looked at Timothy with a worried look across his muzzle, "Because there's gonna be another attack here at Pride Rock!" Said the cub. "WHAT!" Timothy said in shock. "Yes, but the King and Queen asked me to escort you to a safer location." The cub said with a smirk. Timothy got up and walked towards the cub, "Thanks, I'm Timothy, by the way." Timothy said introducing himself. "Nice to meet you Timothy, I'm Kovu." The cub said revealing his name.

Next time on The Golden Guardian Adventures: Timothy and the Lion Guard; The Pride Lands are under attack by Scar's army and Timothy is being escorted by a son of a Lioness who is on the side of evil! Does Timothy trust Kovu? Is Kovu leading Timothy into a death trap? Will the Lion Guard be able to save Timothy in time?
