...

The sun was setting and the Lion Guard and Timothy were walking in the Pride Lands, while Timothy just got done talking to the Lion Guard about how he ended up in the Outlands in the first place. "And so, that's why I was in the Outlands." Timothy said. "You're from a far away land?" Ono asked while landing on Beshte's back. "Yes." Timothy answered. "And you're cursed?" Beshte asked. "Yes." Timothy repeated. "You have magic powers?" Bunga asked with a huge smile on his face. "Yes." Timothy repeated again. When Timothy answered that, Bunga nearly exploded. "UN-BUNGA-LIEVABLE!" Bunga shouted while jumping around the place then landed in front of Timothy, "Do some of that magic on me." Bunga requested.

"Bunga, haven't you been listening to his story?" Fuli said while gritting her teeth. Bunga turned his head around to look at Fuli with a confused look and scratching his head, "Oh, sorry Timothy, I forgot you're cursed." Bunga said and explained. Timothy just gave Bunga a look then looked back at the Lion Guard. Kion stepped forward until he was in front of Timothy, "Well, first rule of becoming Loyal, Brave and True, never push away your friends." Kion suggested. Timothy nodded at the suggestion then realized something. "Hey, where's Jasiri?" Timothy asked while looking around. "She lives in the Outlands so she stayed over there." Fuli explained.

Timothy had a surprised face when Fuli answered his question, "Well, I hope she'll be alright since she's not the only one that lives in the Outlands." Timothy said while looking at the Volcano from a distance. The Lion Guard looked in the same direction Timothy was looking at. Kion just sighed then turned back around, "We should head back to the lair." Kion said in a sad tone. Timothy was a little concerned about Kion's tone, but just brushed it off thinking he had a rough day today. While walking, Timothy leaned his head near Fuli's, "Is Bunga really that annoying?" Timothy asked while whispering. Fuli gave a chuckle then looked at Timothy, "If only you knew." Fuli replied while still walking.

Timothy saw he was falling behind a bit so he decided to catch up, but just as he was about to run he felt a sharp stinging pain on his right side of his left ankle which caused him to fall to the ground while screaming. The Lion Guard heard Timothy's scream and ran towards him. When they got to him, he was on the ground while grasping his left ankle. "Timothy, what's wrong?" Kion asked. Timothy looked at Kion while squinting his eyes, "Something stung me on my ankle!" Timothy replied while wincing due to the pain he was feeling on his ankle.

Kion looked at his Egret friend who was on Beshte's back, "Ono, see if you can find the animal that stung Timothy, after you do, see if you can also find Rafiki and tell him to meet us in the Lion Guard Lair." Kion ordered. "Affirmative." Ono said with a solute then flew away. Kion looked at Ono flying away then back at Timothy, who was gritting his teeth and closing his eyes shut, due to the pain, "Don't worry Timothy, I'm sure it's nothing serious." Kion reassured with a smile, "But just in case, we should have Makini look at you." Kion added. Timothy looked up at Kion, "Who's Rafiki and Makini?" Timothy asked. "We'll explain later." Beshte said, "But since your ankle is hurting, you can ride on my back if you want." Beshte added with a smile on his face. Timothy smiled back at Beshte, "Thanks Beshte." Timothy said while trying to get up, but couldn't so Kion and Fuli helped Timothy onto Beshte's back. As soon as Timothy was on Beshte's back, they continued heading to the Lion Guard Lair.

...

With Ono, he was flying until he spotted a small creature running really fast from the spot his friends were. "That's strange, no creature that small has ever ran that fast before, and why is it running from our spot?" Ono asked himself. He was curious so he zoomed in his vision to see what the creature was, and when he saw it running into the Outlands and towards the volcano, it shocked him so much, "HAPANA!" Ono shouted while flying in the other direction to find Rafiki.

...

Back with the Lion Guard, they entered a cave that was hidden by vines, and when they entered, Timothy was amazed by the sight he was seeing. "Makini?" Kion called. After he called the name, a female Mandrill popped her head out of a corner and smiled wildly, "Oh! hello Lion Guard." Makini said, "Oh! who are you?" Makini asked while looking at the human on Beshte's back. "Makini, this is Timothy, and Timothy, this is Makini." Kion said introducing Timothy and Makini. "So, what's up Lion Guard?" Makini asked. "Timothy got stung on his left ankle." Kion explained. "Stung by what?" Makini asked while setting up a bed of leaves for Timothy to sit on. "We don't know yet, but Ono will come back with Rafiki and they will tell us more on what stung Timothy." Kion explained as he and Fuli helped Timothy off Beshte and onto the bed of leaves.

While Timothy was on the bed of leaves, Bunga got on his back, "You know Timothy, if you were a Honey Badger, you wouldn't be feeling that stinging pain on your ankle." Bunga commented. "Bunga!" Fuli called out his name in an angry tone. Bunga got off of Timothy's back while looking at Fuli with a confused look on his face, "What?" Bunga asked which made both Fuli and Timothy grunt in annoyance. "I'm starting to see what you mean Fuli." Timothy said as he continued to wince in pain. Makini went to Timothy while holding a baobab bowl with a yellow-colored liquid. "Now, show me your ankle." Makini said with a smile. Timothy looked at the Lion Guard, who gave a nod to him. Timothy showed Makini his left ankle, and showed her where he got stung. Makini dipped her finger into the yellow liquid then rubbed it on Timothy's stinging mark. "This liquid will help stop the pain, all you need right now is rest." Makini instructed while putting away the baobab bowl she was holding.

After a few seconds of silence, Ono flew into the lair breaking the silence, "HAPANA!" Ono shouted as he landed on a rock and Rafiki came running into the lair as well. Rafiki came running towards Timothy until he was in front of him. "Tell me, have you experienced anything unusual?" Rafiki asked while looking into Timothy's eyes. "Uh... not that I know of." Timothy replied, "Now, can you get out of my face, please?" Timothy asked. "Rafiki, Ono, what's going on?" Kion asked. Ono immediately looked at Kion and the rest of the Guard, "Timothy got stung by an Emperor Scorpion!" Ono said in a panicky voice. When Ono said the name, Timothy put his hand on his face, "Scorpions! why does it always have to be scorpions?" Timothy asked with a grunt of annoyance.

Rafiki looked at Timothy, "I don't think you realize what you got stung by, little human." Rafiki said, "The Emperor Scorpion's venom is very severe, because of the side-affect." Rafiki revealed. The Lion Guard all looked at each other then back at Rafiki, "What's the side-affect?" Kion asked in a worried tone. Rafiki inhaled then exhaled, "The young human would have to do whatever the Scorpion wishes!" Rafiki replied, which made gasp but it caused Timothy to have a worried look on his face.

Next time on The Golden Guardian Adventures: Timothy and the Lion Guard; Timothy got stung by a scorpion with a side-affect that will probably make Timothy doubt if he will ever become Loyal, Brave and/or True. Kion now not only fears that Scar maybe planning something, but he also fears that he might lose a new friend. Was the Scorpion part of Scar's plan? What commands will Timothy listen to? Will the Lion Guard find a cure for the side-affect? Find out in the next installment of The Golden Guardian Adventures: Timothy and the Lion Guard.

F.Y.I., the Emperor Scorpion is a real scorpion, I just made up the side-affect. Anyway, tell me your thoughts about this story in the comments below. See you later,

'Till the Pride Lands End.
