Chapter 7 - Izuku.

Izuku watched as Bakugou came back downstairs after he'd gone to talk to Rhyki. He regarded him closely and saw that he had no injuries so that meant Rhyki was in a good mood. She hated being disturbed at times. And considering she had built up tension, Bakugou clearly didn't realise just how lucky he was to get away unscathed.

"Everything go alright?" Kirishima asked, from where he and the others were perched on the couch.
"Fucking grand!" Bakugou snorted and plopped down on the seat next to Izuku.
"What did you talk about?" Mina enquired, regarding him with nothing but curiosity in her gaze.
"That's between us." Before they could say anything else, the house started to vibrate slightly as music began to blare from upstairs.
"What the hell is that?" Sero questioned.

"Rhyki's music. She's in a good mood, and probably getting ready for Training Ground. She always listens to music when happy." Izuku responded.
"That loud?"
"Nah, it's usually louder."
"What? How is she not deaf?" Kirishima stared at him wide eyed.

"Because she's done it since she was a kid. Come on, I'll show you what I mean by she must be in a good mood." They got to their feet and followed him upstairs. He pushed open Rhyki's bedroom door and the hard bass, drums and such blasted over them. He grinned as he saw his sister standing in a tank top and shorts, legs spread a little, air guitaring as she belted out part of the song. Thing with Rhyki, she had an amazing singing voice with a four-octave pitch, or something like that. They stepped into the room more and Izuku walked forward until he stood near her and joined in.

"I love rock n' roll.... So put another dime in the jukebox, baby.... I love rock n' roll.... So come an' take your time and dance with me." Then he heard other voices and looking behind him, saw that Mina and Bakugou joined in. They stepped forward and began to air guitar with them. Then so did the others. Soon the song finished and Rhyki turned it off. Dropping them into silence.
"Why are you all in my room?" She demanded.

"This is my second home, so it's nothing unusual considering I happen to sleep in the other bed, have since we were kids. And they wanted to see what was going on, so here we are. So, don't you go getting all grouchy Captain Bitch." Izuku laughed as she grunted at him.
"Yeah, whatever. Let's fucking go. I want to train. And Izuku, I am not holding back." He watched as she grabbed her bag and motioned for them to leave her bedroom.

"If you did hold back, I'd be disappointed Rhyki. And give me five, I'm just going to change." He replied, disappearing into the wardrobe. He always kept clothes here, same as she did at his place. He yanked on shorts but put jogging bottoms on over the top. Then he put on a tank top and topped it off with a black hoodie that had a green highlighted fox skull on the back. Sliding his feet into comfortable converse, he was ready. He grabbed another mask as it never hurt to have a backup.

Stashing other clothes in a bag, he fled the room. Catching up with everyone downstairs, they left after Lurae, who had just gotten back, gave Izuku a load of medical gear that he stashed in his bag before swinging it over his shoulder. About twenty minutes later, they arrived at Training Ground. It was a fortified place with security guards etc., but looking at it, it appeared to be an abandoned warehouse, which is what they wanted. Izuku led them inside and stopped at a desk that was just in the door. The guard glanced up; black eyes locking on him.

"Master Izuku. Good to see you again. And you Mistress Rhyki. Guests with you this time?" There was no mistaking the curiosity as he caught sight of the others, who were looking around curiously.
"Yes Kura. Seven of us today. We'll be down in Main Room."
"Very good sir." He handed over a card and Izuku took it. With a nod, he walked off, the others following in silence.
"Good seeing you Kura!" He heard Rhyki say. They walked to an elevator and stepped inside.
"What is this place?"

"This is Training Ground, that me and Izuku built ourselves. Only a select few know of this place - so we are trusting you with its location and secrets." Rhyki explained as Izuku put the card into a slot under some buttons.
"We promise." They vowed, hands over their hearts. Izuku chuckled as a panel opened and he leaned forward. A scanner ran over his features and took in his credentials - proving who he was. Even if someone were to 'imitate' him, they would never have gotten through this. And that was his secret as to why, well, his and Rhyki's.
"Good afternoon Master Izuku. To Main Room?" A robotic voice came out above their heads.
"Yes."

"Very good Master." And with that, the lift moved.
"What is all of this?" Mina asked, her voice a whisper - which was very unlike the loud pinkie.
"Welcome to Training Ground's Main Room." Izuku replied as the doors opened and they stepped out. He looked around his pride and joy. Main Room was about three quarters of the size of a football pitch, length ways. Width ways was about half. High end gym equipment sat to their right.

On their left, was a huge space with all sorts of different equipment that was mostly used in military boot camps. In the middle, hidden behind gigantic panes of glass, was overstuffed couches, a TV that was perched on the wall and a huge glass fronted fridge that was stocked with an array of drinks. Rhyki moved past them and headed to the couches, dumping her bag. Izuku turned to face the group behind him, who were gawking at everything with wide eyes and avid inquisitiveness.
"I hope you guys are ready for this." He said.
"For what?" Kirishima queried.

"Well for the reason that you're here. You might as well get training as well. And don't worry, we won't go as tough as we usually do." He chuckled and went to his sister. Rhyki peered at him as he dumped his bag next to her.
"Let's start them in slow." She stated.
"What are you thinking of?"
"I think our best bet, is do the tranquil calming first. Then stretches. Loosen them a little and go from there. I think today, we'll work on finding their strengths and all that shit instead of throwing them into the deep end so to speak."

"Sounds a plan." He went to the fridge and grabbed an energy drink, opened it, and turning away, downed half the contents before putting his mask back in place.
"Ok, guys. We're going to start with some basics first. As well as stretches, so we can get those limbs loosened. You'll only damage yourself if you don't." Rhyki said, drawing their attention. They rushed over so they weren't shouting across the vast space.
"No problem. Where should we get changed?" Kaminari asked.

"Changing rooms are there." Izuku pointed to some doors. They headed off and disappeared into the correct rooms. While they did that, he stripped, leaving him in his tank top and shorts. Rolling his shoulders, he bumped his fist with Rhyki as he went to get started. He dragged out some thin mats (think yoga), put one in front of the others and spread the others in a sort of semi-circle and sat down. Crossing his legs and relaxing his hands limply on his knees, he started to sink into his subconsciousness. Slowing his breathing down too, until it was as though he was asleep. Syrinx, however, remained silent in the background and just let Izuku do his thing. Knowing if anything got out of hand, he would be there to help right away.

Rhyki looked over at Izuku as he sunk into himself. He was sitting completely straight, legs crossed, and hands relaxed over his knees. She wasn't fooled. He was extremely dangerous when like this. He could move quicker than a blink and have a blade at your throat before you could let out a sound of warning. She was always impressed when she saw it.

She had never met someone who could move that quick, or as silent. And that was saying something considering she was as quiet as shadows. Hell, he was even quicker than her dad, which was a feat in itself. Doors opening behind her made her turn. Everyone walked out, changed into the P.E kits. She stepped out from behind the safety glass. She wasn't going to admire the way that Bakugou looked - she had to be professional right now. Stupid fucking brain!

"Where's Izuku?" Mina asked.
"Over there." She pointed.
"What's he doing?" Sero said.
"Relaxing into himself. Just don't startle him."
"What do you mean?" Bakugou enquired, stopping at her side with the others next to him.
"This is when he is at one of his most dangerous. When he is this calm, you do not want to startle him. Even I don't. Got caught once, scared the ever-living fuck out of me." She admitted.

"Show us?" Sero asked.
"Sure. Get behind the glass though, you do not want to be in the way." She picked up a small bowie knife as they did what she said. Taking a deep breath, she threw the blade at Izuku. Just as they were about to shout out a warning, his eyes snapped open and he caught the blade just as it was about to slam into his eye socket. He immediately threw it back, but Rhyki had already dived out of the way. They watched as it flew past, right to the other side of the gym and embedded itself into the wall until all that remained, was half of the handle. Scary yet really fucking impressive.

"Holy shit!" Kirishima said, jaw pretty much on the floor. They turned back to Izuku, but he'd shut his eyes again and was back in that calm façade.
"Told you." Rhyki chuckled at their expressions and strolled over to the mats. They hesitantly followed and sat down. They faced Izuku and copied the way he was. Rhyki closed her eyes, rolled her shoulders and sunk deep within.
"How do we do this?" Kaminari whispered and she opened an eye to look at him.

"Close your mind off to everything. Think of a happy place or memory. Sink into it willingly. Your mind will go blank from all but that and you'll feel yourself relaxing. Stay like that until either me or Izuku bring you out of it." She replied before closing her eye. She heard sighs as they sat quietly. It was that quiet, you could have heard a pin drop. She heard their breathing even out, which was expected. What she wasn't going to tell them, was this was actually part of training. If they couldn't handle sitting in complete silence, and totally still, for an extended period of time, then they had no use of doing anything else. Part of being a hero was also being able to be as quiet as possible, for any length of time.

Before she realised it, she felt a hand brush against her cheek, as light as a feather. She blinked her eyes open and Izuku was crouched in front of her. His emerald jewels bright as he gazed at her. She peered at the others and they were still in the same position.
"How long have we sat like this?" She whispered.
"An hour. I come out of it not even a minute ago." He replied. Holy shit, where had the time gone?
"Ok, I'll wake them up. You get the tape for our hands?" He nodded and stood up. She rose to her feet and wiggled her toes. Her legs were tingly from being in the same position, but it was nothing she couldn't handle.
