Chapter 46 - Izuku.

Izuku cuddled up with Eiji while they watched the next two matches. Nothing much really happened. The Ragtags had a good giggle at Iida being used as nothing more than a walking advertising board for the support student who had gotten through with her gear, which his creator side had been rather quite impressed by. The second didn't last long at all as Todoroki decided that the place needed a giant wall of jagged ice to defeat Sero. What kind of illogical move was that? Did he have no regard as to who was sitting behind it? He could tell that the two-toned male was not in the best of moods, judging by the dark look on his face. Izuku moved Eiji and decided to go and have a chat, just as it was announced that Iida was leaving the festival due to a family emergency.
"Where are you going babe?" Eiji asked.

"To have a chat with Todoroki as something isn't adding up to me. Win in your next match and just use one." He stared pointedly, knowing his man would get it. Only he, Nezu and All Might knew that Eiji now had OFA. It had happened a week ago, and they'd been training in private with it. Didn't mean he wanted his male to get stupidly injured with it. Not until he had a much better handle and control on it, considering it was a ridiculously strong quirk. The red head hadn't accepted at first, until All Might have filled Izuku in about it all – including the fact he very well would have to go against the infamous AFO – who Izuku had heard of before, which surprised them both. All Might had gotten quite the awakening when he'd finished explaining everything when Izuku had sat there in complete silence, glaring, causing shivers to run down the pro's spine from the bitterness.

He had informed him, in no uncertain terms on bluntness, that Eiji would not be risking his life to go against the man who he had barely managed to defeat in the first place. It wasn't happening. If they didn't like that, then tough shit and the man would have to find another successor. Simple as that. Izuku would never risk his man's life, not for anyone or anything. Because of all the training Eiji had already done to get into physical condition so far, he hadn't needed to train more to allow OFA to meld with his body. Didn't mean they wouldn't stop training it though. Slow, but sure steps.
"I promise." Eiji said and kissed his cheek.
"Good. I'd wish you luck, but you don't need it. Love you."

"Thanks babe. I love you too." Izuku got up and left. Wandering down corridors, two minutes later, he found Todoroki grumbling to himself as he watched Endeavour turn a corner.
"Everything alright?" He asked, getting two different coloured eyes to snap up.
"I'll be fine."
"Not what I'm asking. I saw the flaming trash leave. Did he say anything to you?"
"Nothing unusual for what he usually says. Why are you back here anyway? I thought you'd be sitting with your boyfriend?"
"I was sitting with Eiji. But after your match with Sero, something didn't seem right, so I came to talk. If you wanted to that is." He shrugged. It wasn't much of a hardship for him if he did or not.
"Why?"

"Why not? Sometimes it helps to have someone to vent to. Look, Todoroki, I know we haven't exactly gotten off on the right foot or whatever so far, considering all the shit that's happened so far, but that doesn't mean I'm going to be a shit person and let you mentally combust. Plus, you haven't done or said anything towards me or Rhyki, so I have no problems with you."
"There is that I guess."
"So, vent. What is said between us, stays that way." He leaned against the wall, and patiently waited. He could see the way that Todoroki was mentally guessing if he should or not. The male then let out a sigh, and flopped back into the wall opposite him, arms hanging limp at his sides. As Izuku looked at him, he could see just how mentally, as well as physically tired he was.
"Have you ever heard of quirk marriages?" Ok, that wasn't what he expected, but ok. At least he was willing to talk to him, instead of brushing him off. But Izuku had a feeling that the teen really needed someone to talk to about everything.

"I have actually. They're used to be the way high born families combined for power, status, or to get the 'perfect quirked baby', amongst other political type shit back in the day. They're illegal now though and have been for about fifty odd years. What about it?"
"Father used his status and money to, shall we say, purchase, mother from her family for the strong ice quirk that she has, in the hopes of creating the 'ultimate offspring' with what he hoped would be a combined force of their quirks purely in the sole purpose of surpassing All Might himself."
"Jesus Christ." He mumbled. Was that truly the only way Endeavour was able to get a wife, by buying them like cattle? What the actual fuck?

"That's why I vow to use my ice side only. I literally detest that man, as he sees me but nothing but a tool. My eldest brother Toya had a blue fire quirk, who Endeavour sought to make his successor due to the sheer power of his quirk, but because of his weak constitution, it burned his skin terribly, so his training was eventually abandoned entirely and is now considered dead due to his quirk going haywire and burning him drastically, or so I was informed. My sister, Fuyumi, and second oldest brother, Natsuo, were both ignored when they showed to have only ice quirks, like mother."
"That's pretty rough. Sorry to hear that." Izuku said, but his mind was racing. Did he say blue fire quirk? No fucking way that it was Dabi, right?

Izuku knew Dabi had a fire quirk, cremation, on the exceptionally rare times he had seen it and an abundance of dark purple scars that littered his body (or had until he'd taken majority of them away for him using his healing quirk). He and Rhyki had stumbled across him a few years back, in an alleyway nursing severe wounds from a villain while on a job. They'd contacted their boss and taken him to a hotel. One thing led to another, and now he happily worked for Izuku's Creator side in an isolated underground lab as his assistant (mostly taking orders, shipping out gear etc). Izuku would have to make a pit stop he reckoned and have a chat with the male. Not just for this, but because he also hadn't seen him since before the whole change incident. Plus, he wanted to introduce Eiji and the others to him officially too. But he'd deal with that at another date, he had other things to do first.

"Thanks, I guess. Losing Toya took a huge toll on the family, more so my mother than anyone else as they were close. I was too young to understand it all, but I remember him helping me with injuries I had gotten from 'training'. When he vanished, I was kept separated from my siblings. Endeavour also caused my mother to have a mental breakdown, which caused her to give me this scar by throwing boiling hot water from the kettle onto my face as I overheard her on the phone saying how it reminded her of him. I was five years old when that happened. Then she was put into a mental hospital and has remained there ever since."
"Have you ever visited her?" He questioned.
"No."
"Why not?"

"Because I remind her of him."
"Todoroki, listen to me. She doesn't blame you for that and probably hates herself for hurting you like she did. But answer me this, what did she seem like after it happened?"
"She screamed and used her quirk to take the burning pain away, which is why I have the scar. Then kept on muttering how sorry she was." His eyes widened as he said that. That was probably the most emotion he'd seen so far from the usually blank faced male.
"Exactly. So, once this is all over with today, go and visit her. You have one mother; don't waste the precious time you have alive in keeping away just because of that flaming arsehole. It truly isn't worth it."
"How would you know? Your mother's here with you."

"As I said before, what is said between us, stays between us, correct?"
"Yes."
"Midnight is my adoptive mother. The only true memory I have of my birth mother is green hair, a slap to the face, manic laughter and being told I'm nothing but scum and should never have been born. I was sold to scientists until I was rescued by pros." He admitted. The only ones who knew of what happened before being sold, was obviously his mum, Rhyki, Aizawa, and Nezu. He hadn't told anyone else. Until now that is. But he trusted his gut that Todoroki really wouldn't say a word.
"What? Why would she do that?"

"I don't know. I was about four when that happened. Any memories before that are of pain, starvation and thirst. No one, and that is literally no one, deserves to go through what I did, or anything like that. So, promise me, when our day has ended, go and visit your mother, it'll be worth it, trust me."
"I don't know." The male turned his gaze to the floor and picked at his hands. Izuku took the steps to close the distance and reached out. He pulled the usually sombre teen into his arms. Todoroki was rigid, but he quickly melted into the embrace and clutched onto Izuku's top. It was painfully obvious that he was extremely tough starved, and it about broke Izuku's heart. No one should be like this. Before he got with Eiji, something like this wouldn't have affected him, but now? His beautiful red head was making him feel. It sucked at times, but Izuku didn't mind it.... Sometimes.

"It'll be fine, I promise. If you want, I'll even come with you to the hospital she's at. I'm not an actual arsehole unless my family or friends are threatened or treated wrongly, you can count on me." He told him. Todoroki pulled away, letting him go entirely and peered up at his face. Tears swam in the orbs but refused to fall. Izuku stepped back to where he had previously been to give him space.
"Do you mean it?"
"Which bit?"
"About being able to count on you?"
"Of course. I wouldn't say it if I didn't mean it."
"Ok. Then, thank you for listening and letting me vent a bit. I'll also visit my mother on my own but thank you for the offer."
"Don't mention it. Now, let's go back to the stands yeah? It won't be long until we find out who goes into the next lot of matches."

"Sure." They headed back to their stand in a surprisingly comfortable silence. When they arrived, Todoroki nodded once at him, which he did back before going to his seat. Eiji was waiting with his usual love filled smile. Now that was something he would never complain at seeing.
"Did your match already go love? Sorry I was longer than I was meant to be." He asked as he settled in his seat.
"It's fine love. My match has been, and I won! It was a draw at first as we knocked each other out. Another match went which was over really quickly, then I went back against Tetsutetsu and it was settled with an arm-wrestling match." He beamed.
"I'm so proud of you. Sorry I missed it though."
"It's fine love. How did it go with Todoroki?"
"Better than I thought it would have to be honest. I think it helped."

"That's good. What did you talk about?"
"Home life mostly. I won't say any more than that, as I promised to not say anything until he was ready to tell people his story."
"I get it love. I won't hound you for answers."
"That's good, as I wouldn't want you to think that I'm keeping anything from you."
"I know you won't. Not unless it was within my best interest or it was a private conversation of where it was promised to not go any further." Izuku chuckled as Eiji playfully stuck his tongue out at him. Trust him to get it right away.
"Who's fighting next?" He questioned as their hands locked together.

"Bakugou against Uraraka." Mina answered instead as she leaned into his other side for a cuddle. She'd swapped seats with Sero, who had moved and was now chatting with Kaminari. He glanced over at Bakugou, but he wasn't there, and neither was Rhyki. She had probably went into the corridor for privacy with him quickly. Knowing her, it was to kiss him.
"Ah. That's going to be quite eventful." Izuku smirked under his mask. It was basic facts. Bakugou had a grudge, big time against the anti-gravity user. Not surprising considering all the shit she had put his girlfriend through so far.
"Izu?" He turned to look at Shinso.
"Yeah?"
"What happens after this match, do you know?"

"Winner faces Eiji. I'm against Todoroki. Whoever wins, goes against each other for the final."
"That's going to be quite a final match. I also know it'll be Bakugou against Kirishima." He sighed, sinking into the seat.
"You reckon?" Kaminari chuckled, while nudging the purplette in the arm.
"It's obvious it will be. There is literally zero chance of Uraraka winning against our feisty blonde."
"Facts." They all said as one, before laughing. Rhyki joined them and Mina turned to latch onto her instead. Their hands linked together, which was natural for them two now. Well, when Rhyki wasn't holding Bakugou's, or Mina holding Sero's.
"WOO, LET'S GET ON WITH THE NEXT ROUND PEOPLE! NEXT UP WE HAVE THE OTHER GENERAL STUDIES STUDENT WHO HAS MADE IT THIS FAR, OCHACO URARAKA AGAINST THE FIESTY EXPLOSIVE BLONDE IN THE HERO COURSE, KATSUKI BAKUGOU!" Mic shouted. People cheered as the two walked out. Ragtags stood on their seats, apart from Izuku, he just stood normally, thanks to his advanced height.

"LET'S GO BAKUGOU!" They cheered, as loud as they could. Bakugou glanced up at them as he stepped onto the arena floor. He raised his fist and smirked at them.
"FUCKING GO BABY! KICK FUCKING ASS!" Rhyki screamed. Izuku chuckled a little at how proud she was right now.
"JUST FOR YOU FIRECRACKER!" Bakugou hollered. His fist dropped and he turned serious.
"Are you ready?" Midnight questioned and they both nodded, not daring to look away from each other at all. Ragtags stayed standing, refusing to sit down for this. Mina grumbled about not being able to see probably as she was the smallest in height compared to them all, so Izuku grabbed her around the waist and hoisted her up onto his shoulders. She let out a startled squeak from the sudden movement, before realising what had happened and put her hand on his head to keep in place, even though he locked his hand around an ankle.

"Better?" He asked, glancing up.
"Hell yeah. This is amazing. Thanks, Izu." She giggled with a broad grin. The others chuckled at her child-like persona and Eiji held his other hand.
"Begin!" Midnight cracked her whip and Uraraka began the charge. They watched as their blonde took a calming breath and waited until she was near before releasing an explosion. It hit her dead on. It sent her flying backwards, and she crashed into the ground, just on the inside of the line. Little bit more power and she'd have been out before she realised what had happened. The arena floor cracked in places too, along with char marks. Uraraka shakily got to her feet.

She was mostly uninjured, but he could easily make out the weariness that appeared in her gaze as Bakugou locked fierce rubies on her. He had a blank expression, so it was quite hard to judge in what his next move would be. She rushed back at him; hands stretched out. Did she seriously think that would work? He sent another explosion, but it fell short as Uraraka appeared out of the smoke. She was near to touching him, but he dodged thanks to fast reflexes, and sent a solid right fist into her exposed rib cage, sending her tumbling away. She crashed into the ground, as he stalked forward. Explosions shot from his palms, hitting the floor in rapid fire. Izuku wondered if he had some sort of plan or just wanted to cause some destruction while he could.

Probably the latter. He turned his gaze to the brunette, who got back to her feet and went to punch Bakugou. He easily caught her fist and his lips lifted into a smirk. He lifted his leg and booted her away. Uraraka went flying, only to land hard on the concrete. Once again, she shakily got up, and they ran at each other. What happened next, had Mina tightening her thighs on either side of his head as she cheered. When she got near enough, Bakugou wrapped his arms around Uraraka's waist, and spun. Using the momentum of her somewhat speed, and pure strength, Bakugou sent them tumbling to the ground with a resounding thud. Uraraka let out a cry of pain as her scalp smacked into a jagged piece of concrete, but Bakugou was unwavering. He let her go, rose onto his knees and attacked her with fists. He aimed for weak spots, mainly her vulnerable stomach, ribs and wrists. She tried desperately to smack him away, but he just deflected them with a simple swat of his hand.

Her legs raised to kick him, but he swept them away with one of his own, keeping good balance. Izuku was impressed. Clearly the gymnastic type training Rhyki had started him on was working in his favour. A few minutes later, Bakugou got off her as she let out a few tears, rolling onto her side and holding her stomach. The audience was in total shock at the sheer brutality that he displayed, whereas Ragtags were incredibly proud of their family member. He kicked her away and got up, leaving space between them for a breather. Once the crowd got over their shock, they started to shout slanders about how he was being too brutal on Uraraka and calling him a villain at the way he fought. The fighters ignored it, but Izuku turned his gaze to Rhyki as she looked downright furious. Fire leapt into her eyes as black smoke trickled through her mask.

"Ragtags, brace yourself." He warned, getting Mina off him in case he had to interfere, just as a blanket of black as sin shadow settled over the top of the arena, stopping the fight and drawing everyone's attention to it. Colourful lightning shot through it, making many gasp at the display of raw power. Rhyki stood tall on her seat and channelled Pyro's deeper voice through. He knew it was, as her eyes took on the dragons traits that he was able to pick up on. Hint, it was the small scales around the edges. He also didn't regret showing Rhyki in how to manipulate their lightning orb quirk to create this, as it got everyone to shut up to hear what she had to say. He was a proud brother! She raised her palms, creating vibrant flames that lit her features so that everyone knew that she was the one who had done it.

Be ready Bakugou. Rhyki is pissed and channelling Pyro. He sent mentally to the blonde below and thanks to his advanced sight, and being able to see in the dark, saw him nod once.
"WHOEVER THE FUCK STARTED THE WHOLE OUTBURST ABOUT MY KATSUKI BEING A VILLAIN, THEN STEP THE FUCK UP AND SHOW YOURSELF, SO I CAN SMASH YOUR FUCKING FACE INTO THE GROUND HARD ENOUGH TO KNOCK COMMON SENSE INTO YOU, YOU FUCKING COWARD. DO YOU HONESTLY THINK THAT JUST BECAUSE URARAKA IS A FUCKING GIRL THAT MEANS HE SHOULD GO EASY ON HER? DO VILLAINS GIVE A SHIT ABOUT STUPID SHIT LIKE GENDER OR IF YOU'RE HURT? NO. IF A PRO HERO WAS THE ONE WHO DID START THIS SHIT, THEN HANG YOUR FUCKING CAPE UP AND I SUGGEST LOOKING FOR ANOTHER CAREER PATH! SHUT THE FUCK UP!" She roared as loud as she could. There was no mistaking the power behind it, considering the entire stadium shook slightly. The shadow and lightning disappeared, making everyone blink as the bright sunlight struck their eyes.

"Rhyki is correct. Whoever said that, should either shut up, or look for another career path if you are indeed a pro hero. Now carry on with the fight." Aizawa's cold voice came from the speakers, turning their attention back to the duo fighting. Uraraka had used the distraction to regain control over herself as she glared at Bakugou.
"YOU'RE SUPOPOSED TO BE MINE! NOT THAT FUCKING PATHETICALLY WEAK BITCHES!" She screamed, voice sounding shrill. Damn, that was nasty.
"Considering she was the one who just did that dark fucking blanket with multicoloured lightning, I can assure you that Rhyki is not weak, at all. I will also never be yours floaty bitch. I don't fucking like you, can't even stand your annoying shitty self. You're nothing but a spoiled fucking brat who's thrown her toys out the pram because she didn't fucking get her own way. Give it up, it will never fucking happen." Bakugou retorted.

"Yes, you will be mine. Even if it means I take Rhyki out myself!" Uraraka sneered, before charging at him again. Clearly the idiot didn't care about who heard her say that either. Bakugou let out an obvious sigh and leapt. He smacked into the small female, trapping her hands and sent them to the floor. Everyone watched, in total silence, as he shifted to quickly trap Uraraka's arms behind her back with a leg, hands flat on the floor to keep her quirk ineffective, and his other leg was thrown over her thighs, keeping her trapped. It happened within seconds, using pure speed to his advantage. Izuku was ridiculously impressed as he had used that move himself against Rhyki when they had been training. Who knew that Bakugou would have remembered it? There was some little flaws he picked up on, but with some training, he was guaranteed to get it down perfectly.

He moved his legs and pretty much bent the female in half, sending her rib cage jutting out and leaving her wide open for attacks. There wasn't a single thing she could do to counter it either.
"What the hell is that?" Shinso gasped.
"It's a move that I perfected. I used it against Rhyki during training one day and I guess Bakugou remembered it and decided to use it as a last resort instead of relying on his quirk. It shows that he knows when to use his explosions and when not too." Izuku replied.
"YOU'RE MINE!" Uraraka screamed, despite having her head upside down.

"NEVER!" Bakugou roared, before launching fists into the exposed ribs and soft flesh of her stomach. It was hard, fast and each hit was a solid thud that was heard perfectly as no one made a single sound as the display of raw brutality was witnessed. It also registered that Uraraka wanted Bakugou for herself, despite the fact he was in an obviously happy relationship. The audience had already witnessed the way the couple was with each other, as well as their teamwork. Uraraka started screaming for him to stop as tears poured out of her eyes. She was trapped and couldn't do a single thing about it. The move was to completely neutralize your opponent. Izuku knew why he had used that though. Total payback on the way she had treated Rhyki, and he agreed. It was a shitty thing, but he didn't a single ounce of care in his body for the brunette. Not when she had disrespected his sister, or previous things done, as well as showed the world what an immature brat she was, considering this was being showcased live right now. A minute later, Bakugou undone the hold and literally kicked the sobbing girl away. He heard Rhyki cackling. Izuku glanced at Eiji, who was staring at everything happening with wide eyes.

"You ok baby?" He whispered.
"Yes. But this is crazy. I'm so glad he is our brother." Eiji shook slightly, before turning and buried his face into Izuku's chest. Not that he complained, he just wrapped his arms around him and happily held him close. Turning emeralds back below, Bakugou had gotten back to his feet, while the female stumbled , trying to regain her balance. None of 1A that were friends with her made a single sound. Probably too shocked at what they were witnessing. Not even the event commentators could utter a word apart from a startled gasp. The brunette had blood over half her face, from a burst nose, as well as where it had gone onto her throat. Tear tracks had ran through the plasma. Dust covered her uniform, leaving it splotchy looking. Her top had rips across the stomach, one sleeve was barely hanging on either.

Her hair was in total disarray and had bits of concrete in it. She was panting heavily, holding her ribcage with her right hand. Izuku wouldn't be surprised if they were already bruised, or perhaps even cracked/broken. Not his problem.
"Can you still fight?" Midnight questioned.
"Yes." Uraraka replied, before once again going at the blonde. Big mistake. He caught her with a swift and lightning quick jab to the solar plexus, instantly causing her to drop to her knees, holding her throat as she gasped for air as he sent her diaphragm into spasm. Izuku knew from personal experience that move hurt like a bitch, effective, but still hurt.
"I'm done playing. It's over floaty bitch." Bakugou said in a bone chilling voice that sent shivers down pretty much everyone's spines.

"That's my fucking hunk of a man right there, bitches!" Rhyki cheered loudly. Bakugou went behind the fallen brunette, grabbed the back of her uniform and bent his knees. Arm muscles tensed, before he literally launched the female into the air with pretty much zero effort. She had to be a good ten feet!
"I WILL NEVER FUCKING GET WITH YOU BITCH AND LEAVE MY RHYKI ALONE!" Bakugou roared as he leapt up after her. Uraraka screamed, forgetting all about using her quirk to stop herself, when their angry blonde caught her. He spun their positions so that he was above her, a hand pressed against her stomach, raised the other hand and sent a powerful explosion out with a huge bang! From the sheer force of it, it sent them hurtling into the ground, creating a vast dust cloud and obscuring everyone's vision. Midnight got down from her podium and went into the grey cloud. Everyone was pretty much on the edge of their seats as they waited to hear what she said.
"Midnight, what do you see?" Mic called after a minute. Rhyki jumped off her seat and quickly ran off. Izuku guessed that she was going to meet Bakugou in the tunnels.

The dust finally cleared, and the entire audience gasped at what was revealed. Standing beside Midnight was a panting Bakugou, and both were peering into a small crater. All that could be seen was a single, bloodied arm which was slightly hanging over the edge, hand limp.
"Katsuki Bakugou is the winner as Ochaco Uraraka is unconscious." Midnight announced.
"THAT'S OUR FIESTY BROTHER! WOOHOO!" Mina, Sero, Kaminari and Eiji all cheered as loud as possible, waving their arms like the lovable maniacs they were. Shinso clapped but had a small smile on his face. Izuku held his fist out towards his future brother-in-law. How did he know this? Because there was literally no way that Bakugou and Rhyki would ever part from one another, being soulmates and all. Like him and Eiji.

"WHAT AN INCREDIBLE FIGHT! BAKUGOU IS THE WINNER AND GOES ONTO THE NEXT ROUND BEFORE THE FINAL. ONCE THE ARENA HAS BEEN REPAIRED, WE HAVE OUR NEXT TWO MATCHES BEFORE THE WINNERS GO ON TO FIGHT FOR THE TOP SPOT! WE SHALL RETURN IN TWENTY MINUTES!" Mic called. Bakugou nodded at something his mum said, before turning and leaving the stage as med bots arrived to take Uraraka down to Recovery Girl. Izuku's gaze shifted around the audience, before locking on two women who were waving at him. He smirked under his mask, waving back. He motioned outside the arena and they nodded, getting the message. One of them got the little girl's attention that was with them and pointed to him. When she noticed, she waved frantically with a giant smile before being shuffled away.

"KAT!" A holler drew their attention as Rhyki raced out of the corridor and collided with her boyfriend. Literally leaping into his arms and locking herself around him, uncaring of who saw them. Bakugou didn't even slow his step as he carried on into the tunnel and disappeared with a deep chuckle. Uraraka had finally been pulled out of the crater her body had made, and carefully placed on a stretcher. Two bots carried her unconscious form away.
"What do we do now?" Sero asked.
"Not sure about you guys, but I need to steal Eiji away for a few." He didn't wait for a reply, just swung his boyfriend up into his arms and walked off. Eiji laughed and locked himself around him tightly, while Izuku held him in place by a single hand cupping a firm, yet squishy butt cheek.

"Where are we going baby?" Eiji laid his head on his shoulder. Content to let himself be carried. Not like it was difficult for Izuku. He didn't answer and just took them outside. Lowering Eiji to the ground, his lovable red head pouted.
"Don't pout. Turn around for me." Eiji did cautiously, before gasping. He took off and tackled the two women approaching with a squeal of delight. It was his mums and sister.
"Izu!" Bella ran right at him, drawing attention from the audience, many of which gasped at realising just how tall he was. He picked Bella up and cuddled her close.
"Hi angel." The past two weeks, he'd gotten a lot closer to Eiji's family, even going over a few times last week to surprise them with dinner cooked as they got in from work.

They had especially liked the homemade, seasoned chips with his special BBQ sauced coated rack of ribs. They'd even met his mum on time too! Which, to be grateful, they'd hit it off fantastically, and they'd spent one evening chatting up a storm about all sorts of things, like they'd known each other for years, while he and Eiji took Bella upstairs to watch a movie snuggled up after dinner. Izuku was glad they got on so well. Taegan and Raeliana approached him, with Eiji holding their hands.
"I thought you couldn't make it, because of work?" Eiji was asking.
"We managed to swap a shift with a co-worker. You didn't really think we'd miss this, did you?" Taegan chuckled, before playfully punching her son on the arm, who retaliated by sticking his tongue out then using Izuku as his shield.
"I'm glad you're here though." Eiji smiled wide, before tickling Bella.

"No!" She squealed while laughing.
"Izuku?" He turned his gaze to Raeliana after handing Bella over to her brother.
"Yes?"
"What was that fight with Bakugou all about? I've never seen him like that." She sighed. Understandable though, as he was pretty much a second son to them after all.
"It's a personal grudge. Uraraka has been trying desperately to get with him. He has never wanted her, nor does he like her. She's created nothing but shit for Rhyki. Even during a training session before the whole coma incident, she used a flamethrower on my sister, not caring of the consequences involved. She didn't know that Rhyki is flame proof, but still done it." He replied.
"Oh yes, I remember you telling us about that. Silly girl. She will realise not everything you want in life you will get." Taegan said, snorting.

"We know that, but until then, she will learn the hard way I guess."
"Eiji, do you want anything to eat?" Izuku asked his boyfriend.
"I quite fancy taiyaki, or mochi ice-cream. I'm not overly hungry, but a simple snack will do please."
"What about you angel?"
"Mochi ice-cream please!" Bella beamed.
"Would you two like anything?" He asked the parents.
"Matcha latte would be great, please." Raeliana said.
"Mugicha would be great thanks." Taegan replied.

"No problem." He pulled his phone out and contacted his uncle Nezu to borrow some money as he didn't have any on him now. Nezu told him where to go, so he excused himself quick and rushed to where his uncle was waiting.
"Here you go." Nezu handed over some yen.
"Thanks. Did you want anything while I'm buying something for me, Eiji and his family?"
"No thank you. I don't need anything right now. You have ten minutes left before your fight, don't forget." Nezu warned.
"I know. I'm going to buy their food and go get ready. See you soon. Thank you again. I'll get it back to you at the end of the day."
"Izuku, it's not going to make me out of pocket, don't worry about it."

"Are you sure?"
"Positive. Now go. See you later." Nezu waved as he scurried off. Izuku chuckled before going to purchase everything that was asked from the vendors hired for the event. Once completed, he went back to the family and handed over everything.
"I got you double chocolate, as well as strawberries and cream mochi. I wasn't sure which one you'd prefer, so I went with both." He handed Eiji his ice-cream.
"I'd be happy with either. Thanks babe." Eiji kissed his cheek, before happily digging into his treat.
"For the angel, I got you mint chocolate, as I remember you telling me that's your favourite ice-cream flavour." Izuku passed it to Bella, who giggled happily.
"Thank you Izu."
"Welcome angel. Here are your teas as well." He gave the adults their drinks.
"Thank you." They said as one.

"No problem. I'll leave you to it though. I need to go and get ready as I'm fighting next."
"Who are you fighting?" Taegan asked.
"Todoroki."
"Which one is that?"
"The one with half white, half red hair mama." Eiji answered.
"Oh, the ice user?" Raeliana questioned.
"Yeah. Well, he has two quirks. He has fire on the other side but refuses to use it."
"Let me guess, you're going to make him use it?" Eiji smirked at him.
"You know me well babe. I do indeed. I'll see you soon." Making sure that no one was around, he tugged his mask down and kissed Eiji, who happily returned it.
"Me too!" Bella tugged on his leg, scrunching her face up adorably at him.
"How can I say no to that face, huh?" He chuckled and bent down, kissing her cheek. She giggled and kissed him back.

"I'll cheer for you!" She grinned, before shoving some mochi into her mouth with a happy hum.
"I'll win for you Bella." He winked at the little girl, tugging his mask back into place.
"Go. I'll see you afterwards." Eiji said, pushing him gently. Not that it did anything.
"I'm going. Bye love. Bye angel and mums." He winked at the ladies, who smirked at him. They were the ones who insisted on him calling them mum. It still felt a little weird, but it was gradually becoming much easier. He left the family, who had started to go into the stadium with Eiji, chatting happily. Using his memory of where to go, he strolled along the corridors to get to the arena.

Unfortunately, it didn't go quite to plan of being along. Because he had the dismay of bumping into the flaming head prick himself, Endeavour. His day had been going so well too. Damn it.

A/N: How was this for Bakugou against Uraraka?
I wanted to do something different instead of him always using his explosions, like usual.
