Chapter 6 - Rhyki.

Rhyki and Izuku left the school grounds and made their way home, thankful it was finally the end of the day.
"Which house we heading to?" Izuku asked.
"How about we go to yours? I fancy taking a swim, get rid of the shitty stress from dealing with those stupid fucking extras."
"You do realise that you have a pool at yours, right?"

"I know, but I still want to go to yours." She chuckled slightly as he rolled his eyes.
"Yo, guys!" They heard from behind and peered over their shoulders. They stopped as Kirishima, Kaminari, Bakugou, Mina and Sero strolled up to them.
"Yes?" Izuku asked.
"Heading home?" Kaminari queried.
"Yeah, why?"

"Fancy hanging out?" Kirishima said, as he put his backpack on properly so it would stop falling off his shoulder.
"I don't mind. Rhyki?" Izuku asked her.
"Nope. Not today, I'm literally dropping my shit at mine then heading over to Training Ground." She had quite a bit of pent up energy and needed to unleash it.

"What's Training Ground?" Bakugou queried.
"Where I go to train, clearly."
"Thought you wanted to use the pool at my house?" Izuku questioned with a smirk.
"Fuck you, arsehole. I'll use it after Training Ground. I need to let loose this fucking tension." And for anyone who knew Rhyki, when she was pent up like this, it was not a good thing.

"Can we come?" Mina wondered.
"I suppose so. Do you have anything to change into? You don't want to go in with your uniform on." Izuku replied. They didn't really let anyone go with them to Training Ground, but he had a feeling – as weird as that was – that he could trust this small group, and he always trusted his gut.
"Got our kit and such from the quirk test, is that ok?" Sero patted his bag.

"Yeah, fine. Whatever. Just don't fucking slow me down, or I'll rip your fucking heads off." She growled and stormed off. What the actual fuck? Why did she agree to them joining her and Izuku to go to Training Ground? Either which way, she fired off a text to her dad, telling him not to go there because they had company, and they had no clue that Aizawa was her dad. At least, not yet anyway. He replied saying it was no problem and he'd just start his patrol early instead. Her dad was, without a doubt, the absolute fucking best!

She also text the maid to get rid of all photos downstairs showing her family and stash them in her dad's room until they left. Soon enough, she rolled up to her house and threw open the gate. Marching up the elaborate pathway, she took in her home. It wasn't as big, or fancy as the others around their neighbourhood, but it was enough for them. Six bedrooms and all that shit. She got her key out and opened the door, threw off her boots, dropped her backpack, uncaring of where it landed and went to the kitchen, skidding along the wooden flooring in her socks as she did.

As she entered the kitchen, she heard the front door shut, so knew the others had eventually caught up. Their maid looked up from where she was washing down the wall above the cooker.
"Good afternoon Lady Rhyki. Is there anything I can help you with today?" She was a timid little thing usually, but towards her and Izuku, she was great. She was also quirkless, but that didn't mean she was any less of a hard worker – hence why they had her working for them. And god help anyone who disrespected her either.

"Any chance you can head out and grab some medical stuff? Me and Izuku are going to Training Ground with some people from school, and who knows what injuries they'll get afterwards. I need more masks too." She said as she handed over her card.
"Of course. Anything else you wish for?"
"Not for me. Ask Izuku though, and I'm pretty fucking sure he'll think of something else we'd need."
"Of course, Lady Rhyki."

"Drop the shitty Lady part already. Just call me Rhyki. I've told you numerous times Lurae."
"Yes, Lady Rhyki." Lurae replied, before giving a short bow and left to go talk to Izuku. Rhyki just grumbled and followed. The others were looking around curiously at her home, but she paid no attention to that, she just went upstairs and slammed into her bedroom. They'd find nothing considering Lurae had removed all the photos. She grabbed her fighting gear and another mask.
"Rhyki?" She heard from beyond her door that had shut behind her when she'd booted it open.
"What?"

"Can I come in?" Now she recognised the voice. It was Bakugou.
"Whatever." She shoved her stuff into a beaten-up bag. The door opened and in he strolled. She turned to face the male. He glanced around her room and she just stared at him. She already knew what he saw. Cadbury's purple walls. Black edging. Two gothic wrought iron queen sized beds with skull bedding. Dark furniture, including her black leather couch that her and Izuku had spent numerous hours on playing video games, watching movies or working on assignments.

TV on the wall with her gaming consoles underneath in a custom-built coffin shelf that her dad had made her as a surprise. Black rugs scattered across the oak flooring. When people saw her bedroom, they were surprised that it didn't have orange in it – but that was in her bathroom with burnt orange walls and black marble as a feature wall that the shower was against.
"What do you want Bakugou?"
"I wanted to ask you something, if possible?"

"What is it? And don't pussyfoot around it either." He walked right up to her and she, for some weird reason, noticed that he was the same height as Izuku. She stared into his crimson eyes.
"Back at school, during the quirk test, why did you let me hold your hand but when Kaminari tried, you were pretty much ready to rip his throat out?"
"No idea. Probably because I already tolerate you, for some fucked up reason I don't know. I can't stand insolent little idiots that can't take anything seriously."

"You don't know him..."
"Says you, who calls everyone fucking extras! Look, I don't trust easily – like hardly ever. Once they prove that they can be trusted, then I'll be more lenient towards them." She replied, being honest in that regard with him.
"Fair enough, can't argue with that. So, I also want to ask something else."
"What?"
"Do you reckon we can be friends?"

"You really want to be friends with me?" That certainly wasn't what she was expecting. But she could tell he was completely serious because he didn't swear, and he had a serious look on his face.
"Yeah. I know we'd be really good friends."
"And what makes you so sure?"
"Because you don't back fucking down from me, that's why. Everyone else does."
"Izuku doesn't either."

"He's already agreed to be my friend to be honest."
"Fine. Yeah, sure. Whatever. Just know that with you coming to Training Ground, you will see the brutal side of us. So, the offer of friendship might be invalid after that."
"What do you mean?"
"Exactly that. We don't hold back there. And a fair wack of it, is not using our quirks." She replied.
"Ok. I can understand that. Also, why do I feel that you're really fucking familiar?" He rubbed just above his eye, as though trying to remember if they'd met before.

"You really don't remember?" She questioned.
"No. I'm trying though."
"Want a hint?"
"Please."
"Sludge villain."
"That was you?" His eyes widened at that and she barely managed to suppress a laugh.
"Yeah. Me and Izuku. He killed the villain. I got you away and to the ambulance. Then I saved the little girl in the burning building. But you are not to mention that to anyone. No one knows who we actually are, and that is how we want to keep it for as long as possible."

"Secret safe with me. And thank you by the way." He mumbled the last part, but she heard it.
"For what?"
"Saving my life."
"Don't sweat it, that's what a hero does. And you should thank Izuku more, considering he did the brunt of the work."
"Is that also why you both wear masks?"
"Part of the reason. When I trust you enough, then you might be able to see my face fully."
"Ok. I get that. I'll also say thanks to Izuku. I wasn't exactly nice to him at the time."

"Trust me, he wouldn't give a shit about that. If everyone was safe, that's all that matters."
"I was there when he also ripped into the heroes."
"Was it as epic as I thought it would be?"
"Oh yeah. He really told them straight, even All Might didn't stand a chance against him."
"Not surprised, he's extremely passionate about being a hero. They're lucky it wasn't me. I'd have just punched them. Maybe that would have knocked some sense into their stupid fucking heads."
"Doubtful. I think they share a braincell with Kaminari." They both chuckled at that.

"God, who knows? Anyway, go back downstairs. I need to get changed. I'll be down in a few." She ushered him out of her bedroom.
"No problem." She shut the door behind him, and she collapsed against it. Holy fucking shit. Her heart was racing. What the fuck was going on with her? Why was she feeling like this around him? And so goddamn fucking soon as well? Surely, she shouldn't feel like this. Not this quick? God, it was all one giant fucking mess. She supposed she'd have to have a chat with her Aunt Nemuri when she was able to. If anyone was sensible and knew what they were on about, it was her.

Shaking her head, she turned her stereo on and turned the volume up as hard rock music blasted out of the surround sound base system that she'd installed into her bedroom walls. She was damn thankful that her windows were bullet and tamper proof, as well as shock absorbent due to the heavy bass. She undone her hair and ran her fingers through the silky strands. Then she started headbanging for a minute, then remembered she had to get ready.

Yanking open the door to her giant walk-in wardrobe; she selected a tank top and a pair of shorts. Slipping them onto her body, she changed her socks for a pair of trainer ones and put her feet into comfortable trainers. Retying her hair into a high ponytail, she tied a black bandana around the top of her scalp, to keep any wayward strands out of her face. Looking in the mirror, she decided she was presentable enough considering she was wearing stuff purely for comfort and easy movements in training. She went back into her bedroom just as another song started. She laughed before dropping into a stance and started air guitaring.

"I saw him dancin' there by the record machine.... I knew he must a been about seventeen.... The beat was goin' strong.... Playin' my favourite song." She sang along as she pretended to play a guitar. She loved music. It made her feel alive. She whirled around before coming to a stop as her bedroom door opened and Izuku and the others stared at her. He smirked and she laughed.

"I love rock n' roll....So put another dime in the jukebox, baby.... I love rock n' roll.... So come an'take your time and dance with me." She belted out as Izuku joined her. Then she was even more shocked, Mina and Bakugou joined in, coming to stand with her asthey also pretended to strum along to a guitar. And she didn't care right now becauseshe was too busy enjoying the good feeling she had from the music.
