JACOB POV
I woke up to my mom whispering my name from outside the bedroom door. I noticed my hands were wrapped around Tess, I really hope she didn't notice. I got out of my bed and mom said
"Jacob, Why were you hands wrapped around Tess?"
"I don't know.. I was sleeping"
"Is there something going on between you too?" Mom said, glaring at me.
"NO!" I yelled, even though there is.
"Okay, okay I am sorry but if you develop any feelings for her, Remeber she is your step sister. "
"I won't mum"
"Good, okay wake up Tess. You guys have school today. Come down for breakfast soon"
"Okay"
I walked up to the window and opened the blinds. I saw Tess opening her eyes. She is not a morning person.
"Urgh.. What's the time?" Tess asked, even though her phone was right next to her. I laughed and picked up my phone.
"6:53" I said. She grabbed her pillow and smashed it into her face, sighing.
"Tess we have to be down for breakfast soon, hurry up" I said, laughing a little. She took the pillow away from her head and her hair was as messy as it could be.
"Seriously?" She asked
"Yes babe. Get dressed" I walked into the bathroom and washed my face. Then I spiked up my hair to see Tess walking out of her room with her hair tied up and was wearing some light blue jeans with a black adidas top. She walked downstairs and I followed. I grabbed some cornflakes and Tess got some musli.
*skip rest of getting ready*
The bell had just rung and Tess was sitting In front of me with Kendal next to her and on the other side was an empty desk. Ñext to me was Carson and then Autumn.
"Good morning everyone, today we have a new student."
Carson nudged me,
"Another one?" He said
"Yah, weird how our class gets all the newbies"
"Newbies?" Carson said, laughing
"You know what I mean" I said, smiling. At that moment the principal brang in a boy, he had brown hair swooped to the side.
"This is Brandon Rowland. Brandon please take a seat in one of the empty desks. We will give you your books in a minute." Mr Lee said.
"Okay, Thankyou" he said as he walked to the desk next to Tess and I heard Tess whisper
"Hi, I'm Tess"
"Hi Tess, nice to meet you" I must admit, I am kind of jealous of Brandon. He has been talking to her for almost the whole of the first period.
"During next lesson, we will be doing partner work. Please pick a parter before tomorrow." He said as everyone grabbed there books to head to the next lesson. I walked up to Tess and kissed her. Brandon was watching but I did not care. I pulled away and asked
"Be my parter?"
"Sorry, I'm with Brando." Brando? they already have nicknames.
"Okay.." I said, disappointed. Tess walked off to talk to Brandon. I am extremely jealous now.
*skip to end of day*
I was waiting for Tess outside of school to walk her home. Of course she walked out of the school doors with Brandon. I rolled my eyes.
"Jacob! You scared me!"
"Sorry babe" I said kissing her, purposely in front of Brandon. I put my arm over her shoulder and she did the same back. Apart from she put her arm around Brandon as well. We started to walk home but Brandon was still with us.
"Brandon don't you have to go home?" I asked
"Nope, I'm going to Tess's house"
"You mean our house" I said.
"Ur.. Yeah"
"Why are u coming with us?"
"Tess invited me." He said
"Yeah, should be fun" Tess said.
"Yeah" I said, not happy at all.
