JACOB POV
It was Friday night and my mum was nagging me to get nicely dressed.
"Jacob! He is coming for dinner in half an hour! Get off your phone and get ready"
"Fineeeee" I left my phone on the couch and walked upstairs into my room. I put some jeans on and then put on a black Nike shirt. I then went into the bathroom and spiked up my hair.
Anyway, my mums newly engaged boyfriend and his daughter is coming over for dinner. I walked back downstairs and mum/mom was stressing out.
"Have I got the plates ready?"
"Will there be enough food?"
"What if they don't like the food?"
"Urgggg" She was stressing so much
"Be nice to his daughter Jacob"

"I will, Don't worry mum, it will be fine."
"Thankyou Jacob" she said and then hugged me. Then we heard the doorbell.
"There here! Jacob, quickly go and get  one more chair." I nodded my head and left. I heard my mum open the door and they were saying there hellos. All of a sudden I heard a familiar voice. Once I got the chair and walked back into the kitchen I understood why I heard a familiar voice. It was Tess. We stared at each other for a good ten seconds when mum/mom said.
"Why don't you show Tess around?"
"Uh.. Okay" Tess walked up to me and as soon as we were out of sight I kissed her. She kissed back for about one second and then pulled back.
"What happened babe?" I asked
"I can't be your babe anymore Jacob."
"Why!?" I asked
"We are brother and sister. We can't be together"
"We are STEP brother and sister. It doesn't matter."
"I hate to say it but It does"
"I know.." They rest of the time I was showing her around it was awkward and complete silence. When we got back to the table I sat next to my mum and she said next her her dad.
"You like the house Tess?" Her dad asked. Well both our dad asked..
" Yep. It's really  big"
"Good you like it because we are moving in here!" He said and I immediately looked at Tess. She was staring at me with a worried look and we all sat in complete silence.
"Ok!we all ready to eat" mum said, breaking the silence and I nodded my head.
This is going to be akward.
