It was another reality show that they joined.

And just like last time, Seungmin's eyes never left Hyunjin sight.

Even if they both had female partners and were competing in little games against each other but the stare they did and eyes contact they both made was genuine.

All they could think upon seeing each other was the bet they did 10 years ago.

They had to bring it up once they reunite after the show which was unimportant to them currently.

Seungmin:“Hyunjin!!! Wait!!!”

He called the swimmer who was about to leave the backstage show from the back door since his car was waiting there.

Not in the mood to deal with his toxic stalking fans.

Hyunjin:“Seungmin ohh my god...you shouldn't be around me”

He said while his gaze focused on the hallway behind his old rival checking if his girlfriend didn't follow him.

Seungmin just chuckled and waved by his hand while shaking his head, he succeeded in sneaking from Aera just to follow him.

Seungmin:“don't worry, she's going to take a little longer to find me”

He said, looking at Hyunjin right in the eyes,  Seungmin didn't get the chance to see him up close last time and same goes for the swimmer who's admiring the baseball player.

Hyunjin:“how did you end up dating my ex anyway?”

He asked with a sassy tone while wearing a smirk, he crossed his arms and laid his back a little behind for Seungmin to hold his chin with his hand trying to remember how him and Aera ended up together.

Seungmin:“I think it was 3 years ago, I saw her in the bar and comforted her, she got drunk after and I didn't know where she lived and I couldn't leave her as well since she's a famous person so I took her to my home and since the next day and she kept approaching me after knowing the whole story”

Hyunjin heard him and couldn't but have a sting in his heart wondering if that day was the same day Aera caught him cheating.

Seungmin was about to bring the bet topic but he couldn't since his girlfriend stood right beside him looking at him with red eyes.

Aera:“didn't I tell you to stay away from this cheater whøre”

She warned, holding him from his arm and turned to look at Hyunjin—she hated that the swimmer was still handsome and successful after the things he did to her.

She wishes him karma even more.

Hyunjin:“how many times should I say that I'm sorry and I—”

He tried to apologize for the nth time but Aera pushed her hair back as she slapped hyunjin causing Seungmin to look at her with wide eyes.

Seungmin:“AERA WHAT THE F*CK!!! YOU CAN'T JUST SLAP HIM LIKE THAT”

He yelled yanking her arms from his and turning to Hyunjin to check on him who slapped his arms away and ran away from there.

Seungmin felt bad he couldn't do something to comfort his old rival and hated that he couldn't talk about their bet.

He got really angry looking at Aera with a frustrated expression.

Aera:“what is it? Tell me”

She asked with an arm crossed and a bossy tone demanding her boyfriend to answer her.

Seungmin:“nothing, I will see you this weekend”

He said before leaving the backstage studio and getting into his car not wanting to wait for his driver as he drived by himself toward his house.

Only Hyunjin was coming to his mind and he doesn't have the swimmer's number to check on him so he couldn't think straight and said under his mouth “what a bad luck I have in relationships”
