Hyunjin was excited and nervous at the same time.

He was nervous to meet with his ex-girlfriend who he cheated on.

And excited to meet seungmin again.

They used to be high school rivals as they compete with each other in everything mostly sport.

They used to hate being around each other so much but after graduation, Seungmin had moved out of the country just for his baseball dream while hyunjin stayed in the local college where he struggled to achieve his dream as well.

Now look at how the table turns as Hyunjin became famous world wide and the bet they had with each other was long ago...

they bet that whoever gets world wide the other should go into his knees and yell with a loud voice “HYUNJIN/SEUNGMIN IS THE BEST” since they liked to see the other stuffer back then.

But... Now they feel more different.

Seungmin:“long time no see, Hyunjin”

He said approaching him after the variety shows had ended, Hyunjin was nervous and kept making eye contact with Seungmin during the show—this wasn't his old rival anymore...he was a whole different person.

he got startled when his old rival came to him first after the variety show had ended at the back stage.

He smiled, looking at Seungmin up close—he was indeed handsome and the same goes to the baseball player who was admiring his old rival who becomes successful in swimming.

Both of them had baby faces in high school but after 10 years, they changed into handsome looking men.

Hyunjin:“it been so long, Seungmin”

He said walking closer to him for Seungmin to stay still as he reached his hand to bring hyunjin to his embrace.

What they shared before was pure hate yet Seungmin doesn't know why he was hugging the swimmer so tightly now.

Seungmin:“I don't know what I'm doing but I miss you, Hyunjin”

When Hyunjin was about to hug him back—he was pushed away from Seungmin by his ex-girlfriend, Aera.

Memories of three years ago kept playing in his mind and flashing before his eyes as he felt more and more guilty by just looking at his ex.

Seungmin knew, he knew about what Hyunjin did to his current girlfriend but he doesn't himself hate his old rival because that was none of his business in it was between him and her.

Aera:“first you cheated on me then you're trying to take my boyfriend away from me...like how a whøre are you Hyunjin?”

She spread toxicity from her mouth as she furrowed her eyebrows and held into Seungmin's arm.

Hyunjin was in shock to know that his ex-girlfriend and old rival are dating now.

What a small world.

The swimmer smiled as he looked towards Seungmin, glad he got the chance to meet him again.

Hyunjin:“I really am glad that I got to see you again Seungmin...hope you have a good life ahead”

He said before turning around and taking his leaves from the back stage.

Seungmin kept looking at Hyunjin's sellout and kept getting further and further away from his eyesight until he disappeared from his watch.

The baseball player wanted to get together with Hyunjin again by asking for his number but Aera had to ruin things for him.

He also prepared what to say and how to ask him since he knew that he was going to be on the same show with Hyunjin.

Seungmin was a fan watching every competition since his baby stepped and even if he was his rival but that didn't stop him from wishing the best luck in his life.

And something else Seungmin had remembered is that he lost the bet.

And he should get into his knees for Hyunjin.

Aera:“don't hang around him, he's a black cat”

His girlfriend warned but that was too late since all could Seungmin think of was none other than his dear old rival, Hyunjin.
