Do I ship this?: Not really.

Why don't I ship this? I think that it's a nice idea, but it's not something I'm passionate about. Part of it is because they got so little development in BFDI, and part is because I'm not passionate about BFDI in general. If someone could make a case for them being interesting characters, and for their ship being interesting, I'd certainly reconsider, though!

Is this my favorite ship for one/both of the characters?: I don't really feel that passionately about it, but I suppose it is.

Thoughts on the ship name: "Penraser" sounds like that one old anime-looking cartoon about the kid and his car. Y'know, Speed Racer. In other words: a cool name!

My favorite story involving these two: I don't know anything about stories with these two, admittedly. If you have a recommendation that'll convert me to shipping them, let me know in the comments!

Things I enjoy in art/stories about them: The art for it is pretty adorable!

Things I wish I saw more of in art/stories about them: I guess I'd like to see their personalities fleshed out some more as individuals. I mean, they never got much development for me to like them much.

Five headcanons about them:

Eraser always likes to show off his strength by carrying Pen.

Whenever they're bored, Pen takes his cap off and draws on Eraser.

Both of them go into movies bragging that they won't cry because crying is for sissies. ...Both cry profusely at the end of movies, especially comedies.

April Fools' day is Eraser's birthday, his favorite holiday, and his anniversary with Pen. In other words, the best day ever! Pen goes all out each year.

They call each other "bro" so much that people have no idea they're dating until they kiss in front of them.

A story I'd write about them, if I had the time/interest:

Penraser, a story in which young, famous racecar driver Pen and his best friend and crew chief Eraser deal with the follies of fame, fortune, and the finish line! The car would break down before a major race, and Eraser would carry his best friend to the finish line, going very fast, and winning it all! They'd confess after the race and vow to fix Pen's car together.

The holiday that best reflects this ship, and why: April Fools' Day, obviously!

Where do they end up in life?: Bros hanging out until death, whether as best bros, bro-friends, or in holy matri(bro)ny.
