Do I ship this?: It's a bit complicated.

Why do I/don't I ship this?: I like these two's dynamic a ton, and it's so much fun to watch the way they interact in BFDIA and IDFB. I'd say it's one of my favorite dynamics in BFDI.

That said, I don't really feel that romance augments that -- I really like their friendship. As long as they're buddies, helping each other with each other's love lives, I'm glad to see it. So, in summary, I'd say it's more of a BrOTP, but it's also an OTP.

Is this my favorite ship for one/both of the characters?: Absolutely.

Thoughts on the ship name: You can't get much better than Coinpin with these characters' names. I mean, Pinny could mean Pin x almost any character in BFDI because all their names end with Y, so it doesn't really work.

My favorite story involving these two: I'm not much of a reader of BFDI fanfiction, so I don't really know! I guess that I liked TheOfficialLeafy's take on them in the bit of Adventures of the Rainbow Rockets that I read, where Rocky's lost.

Things I enjoy in art/stories about them: The friendship!!!

Things I wish I saw more of in art/stories about them: I wish that Needle was portrayed in a more positive light. I mean, it often seems that when someone likes a ship, they bash another character who tends to be shipped with one of them, and I don't like that. So, I guess that I want to see some Needle/Coiny/Pin friendship and happiness!

Five headcanons about them:

Coiny and Pin would keep a garden! Pin would especially take pride in keeping it perfect and fixed-up.

I feel like Coiny would be a really good dancer, and would teach Pin just how to do it... but it wouldn't be couple dancing. It'd be breakdancing or something else freestyle.

Whenever a decision needs to be made, Pin consults Coiny by flipping him! Heads or tails?

When Coiny's had a bad day, he'll come home and ramble to Pin, who'll listen thoughtfully.

Pin gives the most thoughtful presents. Coiny is the type to just go, "Everyone needs a drill, right?" and proceeds to get everyone a drill for every holiday, but Pin always customizes her presents, and they never fail to leave a warm and fuzzy feeling in the hearts of those she gifts them too.

A story I'd write about them, if I had the time/interest:

At the Discount Store, in which Pin decides she wants to try dating to show everyone else how great she is! She wonders who an eligible bachelor is and settles on Coiny, because "my boyfriend can't be much, or he'll overshadow the really important one: me!".

As it turns out, Coiny is just a bit too good at being a fake boyfriend, even if he doesn't have romantic feelings for her. Pin soon begins to blush around him, to really look forward to their little dates... Only problem is, Coiny still doesn't have feelings for her! How can Pin convince him that her feelings have changed, and that they should date for real? Is the real way to prove your feelings for someone be to let them go free, or is it to force them to love you?

The holiday that best reflects this ship, and why: For some reason, Easter occurs to me first thing. I guess they'd like egg-hunting?

Where do they end up in life?: Whether they're dating or not, they'll be the best of friends, and probably roommates!
