Zees POV

The rest of the festival went by faster than I could blink. Before we knew it, we were dragging our asses out of the gates to the grounds, bruises and scrapes covering our skin, our ears ringing and wallets considerably lighter from making a ridiculous amount of merchandise purchases, but huge smiles plastered across our faces and we couldn't stop laughing and acting like idiots. If music was a drug.. Well, we were highly intoxicated.

Darkness had fallen several hours before, and so night had well and truly taken over. I couldn't stop the giddy excited feeling from rushing over my body, as I thought about the night ahead of us- partying with Green Day? Can I get a HELL YEAH?

I looked over at Milly, who wore the same stupidly amused look on her face. "Damn, girl!" I laughed, looking her up and down. "No offence, but you're a mess!"

She glanced back at me and started to double over with laughter. "Oh my god, have you seen yourself? There's grass stains and dirt all over you!"

I looked down at my once white top- she was right! I was a patchwork of green and brown. But as I grinned back at her, I thanked my lucky stars I didn't often wear makeup- Milly had eyeliner and red lipstick smudges everywhere.

"Well, we can't go to the bar looking like this," I decided. "We need to make a pit stop back home."

The boys groaned. "Seriously?" Whined Ray. "I just want to go get drunk now, before I lose my vibe! If I sit down, I reckon it'd be 20 seconds, tops, before I conk out."

"I don't want to wait around while you girls fuss with your hair and complain about your arse looking big in whatever," joined in James, who looked put out.

I rolled my eyes. It wasn't going to take us long... Well, not too long anyway. But whatever. "You guys go ahead then," I told them. "We can just meet up with you there."

"Well..." James looked indecisive for a moment, "fine, ok, just don't take too long alright?"

So Milly and I headed home, and within minutes of getting into the house, both our bedrooms were trashed from pulling every single piece of clothing we had out of our wardrobes in search of the perfect outfit.

"What about this?" Milly asked, barging into my room and twirling around. She was wearing a short white dress that billowed around her like a cloud, a long, thick black chain with a large cross hung around her neck, and a pair of killer black heeled boots. She looked fucking gorgeous- but, I mean, what else was new? I told her as much, but her face just screwed up in concentration as she looked herself over in my mirror.

"But what do you think Tré will think?" She asked. "I want to look flirty.. But not slutty," she added with an afterthought

"I think you nailed it," I responded, my attention more on the clothing spread out on my bed sheets. I wasn't one to usually give a shit about what I looked like... But, well, I kind of wanted to impress that Billie guy. I didn't want to think too much about why, I hadn't really been interested in anyone since what had happened back in Australia... I shook my head viciously. Don't think about that now, I warned myself. Don't wreck your good mood with those thoughts!

Milly rushed off to do her hair and touch up her make up as I finally decided upon a leather skater skirt, slinky cropped tank and my only pair of heels- laced high heeled boots that I could barely walk in, but showed off my toned legs.

I even threw some make up on. Damn, what was up with me? This guy had me doing things I never do, and he probably had already forgotten all about me!

We headed out, and by the time we arrived at Drake, the place was in full swing.

There was a huge line to get in, obviously heaps of people from the festival had heard that some of the bands were partying there tonight. So with some regret, we joined the back of the line.

"This is going to take forever," Milly moaned. "What if Tré has already found another girl? They'd be all over him."

"Are you kidding?" I asked, a little bitterly. At least Tré was obviously interested in her. The guy I had my eye on... Shit, what was wrong with me? I swore myself off men years ago, now here I was, all gaga over one I had spoken to for ten minutes. I hadn't even really talked to him at all... Yet somehow, when our eyes had met as we had walked away from them, if felt as though I had been electrocuted. Cupids fucking arrow, I'd bet.

"Tré was ogling you like you wouldn't believe," I went on. "He was basically eye fucking you right there on the grass. It was kind of uncomfortable."

Milly giggled, unashamed. "He's just so cute. Hurry up and let us in!" She stood on her tippy toes to get a look at the door and see how far we had to go.

Just as she did, a bouncer wandered over to us and grinned. "You ladies want to come up the front?"

There was angry muttering from the people ahead of us in the line, but we didn't care. All's fair when it comes to this cities nightlife.

"Suckers," chortled Milly as we had our ID's processed and we walked through the door.

"Can you see them?" I asked, looking around in search of James and Ray or Green Day. I couldn't see them at all through the crowds or hear Millys response over the loud music playing, so I was shocked when I turned and saw not only Milly, but Tré grinning at me, one arm already wrapped around Millys shoulder. She looked practically drunk with happiness already, despite not even having a single drink.

"I've been waiting," he said in a singsong voice and his thick accent. "Let's get you girls out of this scum ridden fest pool and up to the VIP section where the rock stars hang." On anyone else that statement would have sounded conceited and snobby, but I could tell Tré was just drunk and having a good time.

"You go, Mills," I told her, not wanting to burst her bubble. "I've got to find Ray and James."

"Oh, they're hanging with us," Tré told me, his spare hand grabbing mine and dragging up away from the main room and up a flight of stairs to a secluded balcony. "Obviously the babes are with me," he told the security guy guarding the VIP area. He winked cheekily and the bouncer slapped him a high five as he let them through.

Despite the fact that this area was crowded too, though not like downstairs, my eyes immediately found Billie.

And my heart sank as I saw him with a beer in one hand, and his other arm slung around a big boobed, beautiful blonde girl.
