Millys POV

When I saw the cute guy from the record store come out onto the stage, I swear I almost died! I grabbed hold of Zees arm and grasped as tightly as I could, my heart thundering in my chest. Oh my god, he was so cute! I had been fantasising about him ever since he came into the store the other day.. And I couldn't remember his name! Tim, or Todd or something like that. I should have guessed that he was a drummer- he'd had that funny, crazy streak that they seem to possess. He'd had me in stitches, and I didn't even care when he'd walked out of the store an hour later, only having bought one record.

I hadnt expected to see him again (though I had hoped to of course), and now here he was- playing with his band on stage at a big festival!

As he did a little bow and grinned at the crowd, our eyes met and his grin became very cheeky. He winked and did another little curtesy directly at me, and I couldn't help but let out a childish giggle. I could just about feel Zees eye roll beside me.

The band walked to their instruments and their set began- and as they played each song, and the frontman got the crowd worked up, my respect for them grew. They were- no exaggeration- fucking amazing! For a relatively unknown band, their talent was amazing, and their onstage charisma was out of this world. Unless I was very much mistaken, they were going to hit it big someday. I felt the sensation of pride swell inside me- one day I'll have the story to tell that I had spoken to the drummer before they got famous!!

The mosh pit was frantic and violent (just as a mosh pit should be) but we held our own. I refused to so much as budge from the barrier- I was desperately hoping to catch the drummers eye again, but he was so engrossed in his fanatic energy that he didn't look over at me again.

I laughed as Zee climbed up onto James' shoulders to avoid the heaving people and get a better look at the stage. Just like me, I could tell she was into the music. We had the same taste in things like that, and we both seemed to have the knack for picking which bands were going to make it.

The set wound up, and the crowd started to disperse, everyone heading to the next stage where their favourite bands were playing.

Ray, James, Zee and I headed off in the direction of the food stand, our next band wasn't playing for another ten minutes, and the boys were desperate for food of course.

"So what did you think?" I asked Zee as we sat on the grass in the sun, chowing down on some hot fries.

"They were pretty fucking good," she replied. "And the guitarist.. Oh god, I swear I almost spontaneously orgasmed on the spot!"

I actually hadn't taken much notice of the other guys, to be honest. I'd been too busy checking out the drummer.

We talked about the band for a few more minutes, about whether we could get their record into the store to sell, who we thought they might be signed to, how goddamn gorgeous they were... Before the boys showed up, with enough food gathered in their arms to feed an entire country.

And they weren't alone.

With cheeky-assed grins and cocky attitudes, it looked like we were sharing our lunch break with the boys of Green Day.
